Our office has provided «Exceptional Dentistry for a Brilliant Smile» in Anthem, AZ for over twelve years.

Dr. Flowers is a Dawson Scholar. He has completed the lengthy core curriculum at the prestigious Dawson Academy. This is extensive post doctoral training program in occlusion, cosmetic dentistry, TMJ disorders, implant restoration as well as full mouth reconstructive dentistry. Less than 1% of all dentists attain this status.

Our hygienists as well as Dr. Flowers are trained in utilizing the latest technology in lasers when treating periodontal (gum) disease.

Dr. Flowers offerstreatment of snoring and sleep apnea with the use of dental appliances; no more CPAP.

Our office can give you a whiter, brighter smile in about an hour; or, if you are more budget minded, two weeks.

Our hygienist are trained in smoking cessation

Dr. Flowers is originally from Elizabethtown, KY. After graduating from Kentucky University in 1995 with a degree in Doctor of Dental Medicine, Dr. Flowers joined the Public Health Service and was transferred to Tucson, Arizona. Practicing for several years with the government and then in a private practice in Georgia, he returned to Arizona where he wanted his own neighborhood family practice. Anthem was the perfect fit. Dr. Flowers, his wife Jennifer, their handsome son, beautiful daughter, along with their Jack Russell Terrier have been living and enjoying life in Anthem since 2001.

Dr. Flowers has practiced in Anthem, Arizona for over ten years and has established himself as a top clinician in the north Phoenix area. His special interests include cosmetic dentistry, TMJ treatment and management of sleep apnea patients. Dr. Flowers has completed over 110 hours of continuing education in «Mastering Occlusion and Functional Esthetics» with the Dawson Center.

The office staff and hygienists are very nice. However, Dr Flowers has a very poor bedside manner. I have tried going to him twice, thinking maybe the first time was just a off day. But the second time around was even worse. He barely spoke to me. I had to pry answers out of him when I had questions. Nothing was explained to me. He gave a huge list of thousands of dollars worth of work that I supposedly need done and just walked out of the room when I said I was not going to be able to afford it. I was in shock by how rude he was.
I feel bad for the staff.
My trust level of Dr Flowers is now at a zero, so I will be looking for another dentist. i just hope it will not be a problem getting my x-​rays from Dr Flowers office.

love Dr. Flowers and the staff. Honestly, one of the plusses of moving to Anthem was finally finding a dentist and office that cared and treat you like family, not a number and someone to just gather money from.

My kids and I have been here twice. We did not see Dr. Flowers either time only the hygienist. It would have been nice to speak to him about the issues that came up with my kids teeth but he was too busy on both occasions. On the third visit they screwed up our appointment time even though they called to confirm the date and time just a few days before. We won’t be back!

New to AZ and tried this dentist. Really liked hygienist, however Dr Flowers didn’t even greet me when entering and reminded me of bad mechanic that tries to tell you everything’s wrong and needs fixed immediately to make as much money off you as possible. Then it was like a used car salesman at the front desk pressuring you to hurry and buy turning over the document with ridiculous amount for charges and schedule now for all this desperately needed work. I have gone to my dentist every 6 months like clockwork and she never indicated that I had all the severe problems requiring immediate attention…

Dr Flowers and staff did a great job on my root canal and crown. Best temp crown I’ve ever had and they were very careful to make sure the permenant fit well, even going so far as to send it back to the lab when they noticed a tiny defect in it. They could have just put it in and been done but they wanted it to be right and I appreciate that. I would recommend Dr Flowers office to anyone looking for a great local dentist.

The front staff is ok. The wait is just fine. The actual dental work is spot on. I appreciate the expertise and knowledge given and the location is very clean and convenient.
As for billing, being informed that I won’t be able to take advantage of Unilocal deals or savings vouchers online is disappointing. Yet, months later the vouchers are still active. This will make me visit less frequently. Some of my referrals have expressed the same concern.

I noticed the Unilocal deal was still active. $ 50 for $ 100 allowed me to visit 4 times a year. Without it, paying a hundred for a cleaning sends me to the dental office where the price is half that. Miss the conversation with Sarah, but the price is better! Do something about this, Dr. Flowers!

My family has been going to Dr. Flowers for 13 years. He is our dentist for life. You won’t find a more accomodating staff in the valley. It is obvious they care about their patients. The front desk person Katie immediately greets you when you walk in the door. Our hygentist for 13 years has been Audrey. You couldn’t find a more caring person if you tried. She is gentle when she works on you, and always makes you laugh. Dr. Flowers is top notch and should be ranked one of the top dentists in the state. My wife and I have had several complicated procedures done and he has been extremely thorough in detailing each aspect of the treatments. If you are in the valley, it is worth the drive to his Anthem office. If you are in Anthem, this is your choice for a local dentist.

I went to Dr. Flowers at Prime Dental in Laveen because they are close to my home. I have also previously gone to Laveen Dental and Southwest Dental in Laveen. I was not impressed with any of them.
Dr. Flowers was friendly during my exam, but when I came back for fillings, he was all business. Went right to work giving me shots without a greeting. The procedure took a VERY long time. He never checked in with me to see if I was alright. My head was practically on the floor with my feet in the air. Water was sprayed all over my face and dripping off. I was highly uncomfortable and in a lot of pain. Left with heavily bleeding, swollen gums. I went home and took my strongest pain reliever… I’ve never had to do that before and I’ve had a lot of work done in my mouth. I will not be returning.
Even if you live in Laveen, I recommend traveling to a dentist that will make sure you are as comfortable as possible.
