This is by far the worst place to have your dental health care performed. Every time I had an appointment it was with a different dentist. I think you should develop a rapport and a relationship with any health care professional. This place is not professional. I had a tooth that had broken about 30 years ago and had been fixed by the dentist who broke it. I had never had another problem. I moved close to this dental group and decided to go have a visit x-​rays, cleaning, the usual check-​up. The original dentist was extremely rough and was very rude. No «chair-​side manner» and she left without finishing the exam and cleaning. I said no fluoride, and they still put that poison in my mouth. They then brought in the accounting person to explain I needed an overlay/​on-​lay on the broken tooth. I asked why and they said it was not a good tooth. OK, so I believed the «experts». What was supposed to be a couple of hours of sitting in the chair, became most of three days. I had to go back after the original work 3 more times because it was throwing my jaw alignment off and I was in pain. My spouse had a horrible experience with them extracting a tooth, then talking about a bridge and pulling a few more very healthy teeth. Whenever you go to the doctor, dentist or any health care office you hope (expect)them to know what they are doing and not be insurance scammers or whatever is going on in this place. It also cost a lot of out of pocket for unnecessary procedures. Do not go to this group, find another place. Trust me on this. Why do you think they have such low reviews?

Stay away from this office if you want a trustworthy dental experience. My husband and I both had apts on separate days which were scheduled for cleanings/​exams which is covered by our insurance. My husband came home with no cleaning and instead said that they were recommending a root scaling cleaning and told him he had gum disease. I went to my apt and they said the same thing to me! Im not even 30 years old and have never had a dentist tell me this. They were very pushy with wanting to charge our insurance for extra costs and didnt even do a dental cleaning which is why we booked our appointments. If you go here and they tell you that you have gum disease and need a deep root scaling cleaning GO someplace else and get a second opinion. We are canceling our upcoming apts with them and will be watching our insurance claims to make sure they don’t bill for extra charges or care that was not provided like someone else said they did to them. I chose the office based on their website, bad idea instead of looking and reading at the reviews first. You’ve all been warned, this office only wants to dx unnecessary claims to bill insurance.

Employee turnover finally hit this place hard. Stuff is starting to fall through the cracks like trying to charge me for stuff that my insurance should be covering. When an inquiry is made to the insurance co, I find that the procedure has already been billed by WDG.
When this is pointed out, I get overwhelmed with practiced apologies. It makes me suspicious.
This has happened three times. So either the new Target manager is inept or they are pushing the dishonest button from time to time.
Either one is not good so I’ll be taking my family elsewhere so please disregard my previous review.

Folks… I would love to give them a good review. There staff is friendly, kind, and helpful. But… my experience has left me very skeptical. I had my teeth cleaned in the fall of 2014 and it was my first time at this dentist office due to new insurance. On examination the dentist, Dr. Kaur, suggested I get the tooth removed that had broken off at the base of my gum. It was a tooth that had a root canal and I didn’t crown it and the filling came out and the toot cracked. Anyway… I did as she suggested and got it removed by the oral surgeon. Now… note, I don’t think it was one of their regular oral surgeons. The day after I had it extracted it became infected. I called the dentist and Dr. Kaur and we talked over the phone. I went in the next day and had it x-​rayed. It was indeed infected. At that time I asked her if he should have flushed it with some sort of antiseptic or something and she said «yes, didn’t he?» I said «no». So, she put me on antibiotics and that… so I thought… was the end of it. Well, a few weeks later I noticed a little discomfort on the tooth with heat (that I had never experienced before) about 2 weeks later I felt not well. Just a little off and my gum felt uncomfortable. I called and got in for an examination. After x-​raying she came in and told me I had an infection in the tooth directly behind the tooth extracted. I assumed it must be because the filling was cracked or tooth was cracked and bacteria had entered. She said «no, it was most likely due to me biting down on that tooth which caused inflammation and then infection.» We scheduled a root canal and a crown appt. Here is the problem with that scenario. I had been biting down on that tooth for probably 4 years. With no problems. I began to question her reasoning. So, I asked around. I even went on the internet. I was told and read that infection can be from bacteria or trauma. and… yes, when you extract a tooth there is a possibility of infection getting to the next tooth if it is not properly cleaned. So, I called Dr. Kaur’s office and talked to the scheduler. Dr. Kaur called me and told me that she had to go by the Oral Surgeons’ notes. He noted he had flushed it!!! I was so upset at this point. 1. He outright lied! 2. He had a new dental assistant, fresh out of college that would not have wanted to lose her job… so was it her job to flush it? or was she just not going to say anything because she was new… and he was suppose to flush it? I do not know. But, I am very disappointed with this dental practice. I should NOT be the on having to put out between $ 1,100 and $ 1,500 for a this procedure. The oral surgeon should have called me back to the office and cleaned it and done the right thing. I am also disappointed that Dr. Kaur could not have done the right thing and taken care of it. I think she knows I am telling the truth. I have cancelled my appt. Really missing my amazing dentist in Siskiyou County!

I would never come here again. They told me and my wife both that we have periodontal disease and needed some sort of laser treatment. Funny that we both had the same issue. Since coming here we have both been to see other Dentist and they assured us that we do NOT have this gum disease. They kept trying to up sell us on stuff that we didnt need. They insisted that we both needed a deep cleaning and that a regular cleaning wasnt good enough. They also wanted to numb us up to do the cleaning (which is an extra cost) but we both refused and made it through the cleaning just fine without it. If your looking for a dentist to trust this is not the place!

I love the dentist. I won’t go so far as to call it my happy place, but I enjoy a nice trip to the dentist. Clean teeth = happiness. Even though I enjoy the dentist, I have heard horror stories, and finding a new dentist/​doctor can be a little daunting.
Walerga Dental Group is close to home and close enough to work that it’s not a hassle to get there. I have a PPO plan, so they accept my insurance with no problem. When I called to set up my appointment, they were very friendly and they send an e-​mail link so I could fill out paperwork before my visit to save time on the first visit. I appreciate small things like that, because it means less time I have to take off of my busy job.
On arrival, I had to sign a few more electronic forms — standard doctor’s office type forms — and then it was time to get those chompers cleaned! The thing that stood out for me here is that I met with the dentist (Dr. Kaur) in a little office and we discussed my concerns/​goals, etc. I don’t think I’ve ever had that happen at a dentist before. It seems like I’m normally just strapped into the treatment chair and away we go! It’s nice to be able to talk to the person who is going to be sticking their hands all up in your toofs, if only for a few minutes, before you have fingers and instruments in your mouth preventing a real conversation. My concerns are few: I don’t want all my teeth to fall out and I would like my teeth to be clean and fairly white.
After conversing with the dentist, I was taken back to get x-​rays and then brought to the treatment room. There was a little bit of a delay before I saw the dentist again, but not horrible. I had a magazine to read for those few moments, so I was okay. Dr. Kaur came in and reviewed my x-​rays with me and then checked my teeth. Before my cleaning, a benefits coordinator came in and told me what was and wasn’t covered by my insurance and how much my out of pocket would be if I had a certain cleaning done. I opted for the fluoride cleaning, paid my small co-​pay, and was good to go.
On the way out, I made my next appointment for six months down the line. A clean mouth is a happy mouth (that can eat more yummy food).

Can’t believe everyone here treated me with friendly great service! They gave me so much info about everything, I feel more at ease since I somewhat have an understanding about the dental things now.

The customer service isnt the greatest. The office manager only seems to work Wednesday and Friday and no matter how many messages you leave for her she seems to be to busy to respond to your request and the other staff in the office aren’t able to print out receipts or email them (they say only the manager can do that, its 2013 really?!? you cant print nor email???), this office might need some training!!! I’ve been calling this dentist home for about 5 – 6 years and it seems to be getting worst and worst, I will not be returning!

I went there in January and they told me I needed extensive work (16 teeth pulled, and bridges, and partials). It was excruciating and expensive. even with my insurance, i had to pay with a credit card and monthly financing (Auto pay of course). It came out to over 10,000.00. AFTER I committed and paid them thousands of dollars and went through the surgery they are very vague about when I’m getting my permanent partial and the old one is cracked! I called and asked if i can have it fixed and now they want me to pay another $ 100 .
I DO NOT HAVE $ 100! I JUST PAID YOU $ 10,000! so now either I superglue it or I have a big gap in my teeth! DONT GO THERE THEY SUCK YOU IN AND LIE TO YOU! I am going to talk to a lawyer and hopefully shut this scam down!!!
They know who I am and they’re not touching me again!

The first time I went to this office was a same day emergency appointment to fix a broken tooth. Yes I was there for a long time, 4 hours, but I was an add on patient and I left with a partial crown totally fixed, no return visit needed. All fees were in writing with all my options outlined. The dentist was kind and listened to my concerns and took them into consideration. All the staff was very nice, and kept checking on me and informed about wait times.

Do not come here if you have time constraints! 5 minutes =15 plus. Glad I took the day off to sit here in a dental chair all morning!!!

Beware of this outfit, in my opinion they focused on maximizing profits, pressuring upsales at the expense of providing routine preventive services. I will not be going back.

Cons:
We were looking for a new dentist for my children (High School-​er & Elementary School-​er) closer to our house. I tried this dental group for a little over a year. Big mistake! The dentist there change frequently. The Hygienist are not professional and are not well groomed. Along with the receptionist not being very friendly. Everyone of our appointments where reschedule a few days before the actual appointment date by their request.
The only services my children had there were X-​rays, cleanings and exams. The X-​rays service seem to be okay. X-​ray equipment were digital. Routine cleaning was very poor. All of the Walegra Dental group routine cleanings only consisted of was a fluoride treatment. They didn’t probe their gums for pockets or even floss my children’s teeth. Lucky my children have good oral hygiene. Note! I was personally present in the rooms from beginning of services to the end of services. With the exception of their X-​rays, I was within safe visual distance.
Pros:
Dentist were just okay. Front office area had a children’s play/​waiting room. Adult waiting room included 2 tv’s, chairs, water dispenser and computer for 1^st time registration or forms that need to be signed. Website had a good flow to it.
I wish I could provide everyone a longer detailed review but I just don’t have time.
With all said, we no longer do business with Walergra Dental Group. I did not feel comfortable with the service provided to my children. We’ll continue to look for a new dentist.

UNfortunately, due to changes in my dental insurance had to come back here. Had been here a few years ago with bad experiences, switched dentists… now was back recently. And definitely won’t return. Large assembly line process with LOTS of staff milling around. Received a 15 second exam and after about 5 seconds the pushy business office person comes in to talk money while the doc was still in my mouth. She returns after the exam and starts telling about close to 2000 dollars worth of work I supposedly need — which i FACTUALLY knew was a bunch of crap. I said I just wanted the basic cleaning I am due. Was told nope-couldn’t have it til all this bogus work was done. I told her that’s a bunch of crap… Even if my carpets needed a steam clean I’d vacuum them. Couldn’t wait to leave. The same crap happened a few years ago. A neighbor says they had the same problems. Steer clear. I suspect a lot of people are having unnecessary work done and bogus cavities filled.

I really really hate going to the dentist but at Walerga Dental Group they made sure that I felt comfortable throughout the whole process. I came in for a 6 month checkup and was very happy with the service. Also, the assistant, Lyubov was amazing (5 Star Service). Thank you

This dental office is an absolute joke. I have needed my tooth repaired from them for 3 months now and every time I have an appointment they call and cancell it. Then I receive an e mail from them telling me to call and make an appointment, when i do call, the soonest appointment they have is February. I do not advise anyone who cares about their teeth to go here. The worst dental group ever!

0 stars worst dental experience ever they cut my gums were in a rush and dont even hire hygienists. a dentist came in & cut my gums up (hack job) for 2 min then had a russian employee come in & polish my teeth .DONT GO HERE!

I chose this office for it’s convenient location, being new to the area. For the first visit for my 3 children, they had to be scheduled 3 months out; understandable for checkup appointments of new patients. Appointment date rolls around, and all 3 appointments need to be rescheduled. OK, I can understand that. Get in to the rescheduled appointment, and of course, my kids need all sorts of «specialty» treatments. I felt like I was being sold to based on what they could get out of me, and not what my kids required.
Fast forward to 6 months later. Appointments were made at last appointment (6 months prior) for regular checkup’s. Confirmation emails were sent to me, I confirmed appointments, I’m thinking «we’re all set.» Walerga Dental Group called to reschedule child #1. Again, I can understand that, and I rescheduled. The morning of child #2’s appointment, I was called to reschedule, yet AGAIN. «Why, you ask?» The dentist was running behind at 9am. UNACCEPTABLE. I am a single parent, with full custody, therefore, my schedule (like other parents) is packed. Wait. It gets better. They called to reschedule child #1’s appointment (again). I mention child #3’s appointment the following week to attempt to schedule them close enough together. Guess what?!? Child #3 needs to ALSO be rescheduled! The earliest they can get my kids in for an after school appointment is FEBRUARY. For appointments that were made in July. Child #1 & #3 are on a cancellation list to be scheduled sooner, in the event two other patients cancel. I would like to let it be known that I didn’t attempt to schedule all 3 kids in the same appointment; oh no, that would be too convenient for me. I made 3 separate appointments, on 3 separate days, even over the course of 3 separate weeks, only to have 4 appointment changes.
Incredibly unprofessional. I am a patient person, however, this is unacceptable. I will be changing dental offices ASAP.

Like the other reviewer, I hate going to the dentist as well, but Walerga Dental Group makes it as painless as possible. Everyone there is friendly and professional, but Jaime and Mike are customer service stars! I lost my insurance last year and they jumped through hoops to work with me financially to make sure I could get the treatment I needed. I also can’t say enough about the care I have received from Dr. Trinh. She is down to earth, gentle and immensely undertanding (she tolerates my being a big scaredy cat;) and she treats me like a person, not a patient. Laura is also a fantastic hygienist, who never judges, just makes you want to take better care of your teeth. A good dentist is harder to find than a good mechanic. I am so happy I found such quality care so close to home!

I went to get a cleaning, was told I need deep cleaning t a cost of $ 1000.00 Went to another dentist for a second opinion. He told me I was the 4^th person that week to walk through his door with the same diagnosis from Walerga dental.
