History

Established in 1977.

Owner started servicing pools in Fresno while in Jr. High school and then moved to Sacramento to learn the right way by Mr. High of Action pool service; whom just about invented pool service back in the late 1950’s. In 1977 Barry started his own service called A-​1 Swimming Pool Service and it became a family operated service a few years later.

Over 42 years experience cleaning and repairing swimming pools. Started in Fresno in 1965 as a public swimming pool lifeguard, assistant red cross instructor and also cleaned the pools, cleaned the filters and tested water and added chemicals. All so I could get in free. I am still at it; so far, so good. My wife (wed 1973) so started helping and then my sons got their feet wet too. My youngest is still working as part owner.
