We specialize in fine gifts for the body & soul. We are a unique gift shop carrying women’s clothing, jewelry, Pandora, funny gifts, soaps, lotions, handbags colognes and more! You can always find something for that person on your list here, with us. We will even wrap your gift for you, for free! We also share a discount with our sister company, Crave, a Latin Fusion restaurant located right next door. Be sure to stop in, try on some clothes and leave with something special for you or your loved ones!

History

Established in 2000.

Back in the year 2000, Libby had started her small gift shop at 98 Main Street, Ansonia, CT. After 7 years of great business, she decided to open up a Latin Fusion restaurant right next door. So close next door that the two businesses were joined with a doorway to pass through!

Currently, Only For Her is located one door down at 96 Main Street, Ansonia, CT. Libby has had such success in the heart of downtown Ansonia that she has decided to expand her restaurant into the space where Only For Her used to be located. Her plan for an extended area with a piano lounge has quickly been taking effect and is sure to be open in the near future.

As Crave grows we are happy to welcome the amazing customers that can’t help but find their way a couple steps up the road to our door.

BUYER BEWARE! Only store credits are given for returns!!! You will not receive a credit to your charge! I was told that they do not have the capability to do this. I asked about returns and receiving credit when I purchased over $ 100 worth of items and was told «Yes.» What the clerk DID NOT tell me that the credit would only be store credit and not credit to the charge card used. I find this deceitful and when many store choices exist that will refund your money, I will shop elsewhere.

They are very nice in this store. If you are looking for a gift for a female you can find something here. Clerk was nice, blond from the south. Lots of street parking. Lot of Pandora charms.

Update 8÷11÷07: I’ve knocked off two stars. The last couple of times I’ve been here, the prices were way up and the staff (usually the owner, behind the counter) was pretty rude and condescending. Although not so much to her friends or the people spending more money than me. Lady– you own a gift shop in Ansonia, not a boutique in Newport. Get over yourself.

So you need to buy a gift for your friend/​girlfriend/​sister/​mother/​aunt/​female something or other: You should come here. From artisan jewelry, clothing and accessories, to special bath & body products, it’s here. They have incense, candles, beautiful frames and journals, sparkly, shiny things to hang in your window or from the ceiling. CDs, some books…
Seriously, a wonderful gift shop (and ok, you probably can find something for a guy here, too, but that’s not the point). Definitely a boon to downtown Ansonia and a much-​needed breath of fresh air in the Valley!
