Great breakfast and great value. I enjoyed the local atmosphere and the portions were plenty for breakfast and lunch! I got the Haystack biscuits and gravy. It was awesome!

Love it! I stopped here while waiting for my brother to take his license test at the DMV next door. The atmosphere was so comforting! The «regulars» were enjoying their breakfasts and the waiter knew them by name– who does that anymore?!
I sat for almost two hours and my coffee never got cold, thanks to the frequent warm ups. The owners are delightful.
The food? AMAZING. They have homemade cookies, super gooey caramel rolls, sweet cinnamon rolls, and HUGE pancakes. The prices? EVEN BETTER!
You don’t find gems like this everyday, folks! Give it a try!

I happened onto this delightful little coffee shop/​restaurant while waiting to do something at the DMV office almost next door. The two owners, who run it as far as I can tell all by themselves, are charming and friendly, their service is excellent, and the food? You could scarcely ask for better, especially at their prices. A whole platter of chicken fried stake with mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, and Texas toast for $ 7? Where else can you find that? I hadn’t had anything like that in a restaurant in probably 50 years, and it brought back all kinds of memories of small mom & pop restaurants in the Dakotas when I was just a little kid. They have great cookies, too, which at 50 cents a pop is cheaper than just about anywhere. It’s tucked away in a small strip mall on Main St just before the road curves to intersect with Highway 10⁄169. If you get to that point, you’ve gone too far

This is a very cool mom and pop coffee shop and café. They open at 5 am and close at 2 pm. Food is excellent and service is superb. Menu is full of comfort food and down home delicious with prices that are down right very affordable!
Owners, Jake and Emily recently bought the shop about 1 month ago from the past owners of many years. Give them a try sometime!
