Palate Pleasers offers full service catering, an in house bakery, and a retail gourmet to go carryout. We prepare all food in house from scratch for every event. We are located in Annapolis, Maryland with a service area ranging to northern Baltimore, Maryland’s Eastern Shore, northern Virginia, and Washington, D.C.
History
Established in 1981.
Sally Kaiser began catering from her home in 1981. After growing her business for 10 years, it became apparent that a commercial space was needed for the expanding business. It was in 1991 that she moved her operations to our current location in the Eastport Plaza in Annapolis. Sally’s daughter, Amy, is the Executive Chef in charge of the kitchen and handles all food that is sent out for full service catering. Sally’s son-in-law, Eric Daniels, is the general mangager of overall business functions. Sally has alway stuck to her goal of providing the highest quality food at the most reasonable prices possible. She also prides herself on a great eye for presentation and menu planning.

Amy is our executive chef in charge of our full service catering department. She has literally grown up in the business since the age of 12 when her mom, Sally, started the company from her home back in 1981. Amy trained at the Baltimore International Culinary College straight out of high school and completed a dual degree in cooking and baking. She also trained in Europe for a semester to complete her education. Amy’s focus is on personalized menus for each event using the highest quality ingredients available. She prefers to use local and organic produce, dairy, meats, and seafood whenever possible. Amy’s wide range of food knowledge allows her to create unique menus ranging from traditional American to Italian, Mexican, Spanish, French, and Asian styles (and more!).
