Established in 1991.

Fence & Deck Connection was established in 1991 by Jim Rubush & Ben Wolod. At first the focus was on commercial fencing but soon the focus turned to residential fencing, decking, screened porches as well as commercial work. We now have Builder Division, Manufacturing Facility and a new sales location opening up to better serve our customers.

Business Owner

The founding owners, Jim Rubush and Ben Wolod, established Fence & Deck Connection in 1991. As lifetime Anne Arundel County residents, their commitment to providing the finest customer service in the industry has been instrumental to the success of the company. Fence & Deck Connection has grown from what was once a two-​man operation to one of the leading fence & deck companies in the state of Maryland.

In 2013, Jeffrey Wall became a Managing Partner of the company. Jeff’s professionalism, expertise and similar visions have been a tremendous asset to the growth of the company.

The fact that Fence & Deck Connection has been in business for over 24 years and has over 18,000 completed contracts, with only one (since resolved) registered complaint to the Better Business Bureau and no complaints to the Maryland Home Improvement Commission is testament to their commitment to customer service.
