A Security Training Academy, Inc., offers Security Officer Training, Arrest Authority, Handgun/​Shotgun Training, Re-​training, Advance Handgun Training and Red Cross Training. By recognizing that you are the most valuable resource, to an employer, we provide you a professional, safe and challenging training. All students take an exam prior to being registered with the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of Criminal Justice Services, Private Security Section. Armed officers, in addition to the above, are required to attend 14 hours of Firearms Training. Our continued growth is proof that we have a winning formula and provide training to meet your needs. Established in 1990.

Established in 1990 as JB Investigations & Security Services, Inc., in 2009 we changed our company to A Security Training Academy, Inc., providing the same professional of investigations, consulting, marketing, teaching, leadership, management, budgeting, new business development, community-​based alliance with law enforcement, local government and state regulatory agencies. With the ever increasing threat of violence and attacks, JB Investigations & Security Services, Inc., can protect «at-​risk» persons or executives and even less visible persons. We can evaluate the vulnerabilities and threat potential of any VIP or Dignitary and establishes security protocol to protect against attacks or intrusions. We have an extraordinary depth of experience and share the vision of our client’s needs, conducting every legitimate inquiry, whether civil, criminal, social, individual or otherwise, thus enabling us to provide admissible evidence.

Joseph Bonacci, President of A Security Training Academy, Inc., (formerly JB Investigations & Security Services, Inc. He has received training presented by the U.S. Federal, State and County government agencies as well as private sector organizations that concern defensive tactics, firearms applications and use of force.

He is registered with the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services as an Instructor for Handgun/​Shotgun, Private Investigator, Security Officer, Personal Protection Specialist, Bail Enforcement Agent, Armed Courier, Electronic Sales Representative/​Technician and Alarm Respondent.

He is well known for his skill at locating individuals, providing protection services, finding missing persons, documents or goods, and reporting on the habits, character, activities, reliability, credit or financial conditions of a person or business.
