I previously worked at another salon in Ann Arbor and was always passionate about opening my own place, I decided to start my own studio salon in April 2015.

I acquired my license in cosmetology in 2008 at Douglas J Aveda institute in Ann Arbor. I truly love being a hairstylist and strive to stay up on the latest trends and education. I believe in sharing my gifts of beauty with the world. I have attended advance hair color classes at the Goldwell academy in Santa Monica California and have attended advance cutting classes in Chicago. I honestly love making people feel great about themselves. I am located at Sola Salons at 3050 Washtenaw ave in Ann Arbor. The entrance is behind the store Anthropology on the second floor and I’m in studio#16

Let me just say… going from brunette to blonde is no easy process. It takes patience, dedication, and great aftercare. I started going blonde about two years ago, and ever since I started working exclusively with Michelle last year, I cannot be happier with how things have turned out. She has always been honest with me about the process, and gave me ideas on how to make subtle changes to achieve the desired look. She even consulted me on aftercare, and I can notice a huge difference. When she had to take a short leave of absence, and I went to another stylist, she shared the formula without any hesitation. She puts me and my needs first ALWAYS. Even the other stylist was impressed how well the formula worked. I cannot wait to have her hands on my hair again.
