The owner of this establishment was so incredibly rude, that after arriving 5 minutes late (thanks to a traffic jam on US-​23), that she refused to even go through with my appointment.
She claimed that I had cancelled three times before, even though this was my first and only appointment, and that «She couldn’t bother with people like me». After trying to explain that I had never made an appointment before this, she said «I can’t do your hair with you being this upset.» She then continued to complain loudly about how she hated Groupon and will never use Groupon to promote her business again, while I stood there holding my groupon.
I left, visibly upset, and had to make another emergency appointment for an event I was planning on attending that night. I have never been treated so poorly by someone in the «service industry» in my life.
I would recommend taking your business to a place that cares about their customers.
