Awesome service! I screwed up and placed an online order down the road and they made it for me here instead! Way cool! Thank you for being so accommodating!!!

Not the closest SB to where I live, but usually the one I go to if I plan to settle down with my laptop and work for a bit. Or if I’m headed out of town early for some outdoor excursion and need a coffee at 3:30AM. There are usually plenty of open seats with accessible plug-in outlets, and the place is open 24 hours; both of these facts distinguish this SBs from most others. Baristas are always friendly here and quick to take care of any problems(like coffee being lukewarm – a fresh batch was up in minutes, even though I was almost the only person there, it being one of those 3:30AM stops). The coffee and food are what you find at every SB, though here they offer some specialty blends of coffee you can have custom brewed, starting at about $ 4 a pop – might try one someday if I’m feeling flush. Parking is very limited – too many businesses in this little plaza for the forty or so spots available. But, usually I can find a space with minimal waiting, even if some artful maneuvering is required to get into it. A Starbucks is a Starbucks is a Starbucks, I suppose. But this one manages to be just a bit more.

If you know the parking situation, you park at Chilis or in the more open area of Arborland, and its easily navigated and you have a short walk. I did that so no complaints there, I knew what I was in for. Barista Mina was rude and obnoxious. 2 stars are given because the coffee is hot and its open 24 hours. I’ve had better experiences but not today.

For a very busy place, one slow, unfriendly barista is hardly enough. I had to wait for more than ten minutes for my drink, which was good, but not outstanding. Parking is terrible. I’ll go down to Barnes & Noble next time.

No good customer service… The people working do not smile, not friendly, I think they are rude! They do not showcase the typical culture of Starbucks that I have seen in big cities!

Three strikes and you’re out. They used to be very nice/friendly here, now I just wonder where common courtesy went. I’ve visited three times in the past month and each time the people behind the counter have successfully not greeted or smiled. The last time I went there they continued their gossip session while each of three eyeballed me as I approach the cashier. I smiled and said hello to each of them, with absolutely no response. Once someone decided to reluctantly take my order order, but it was like I was at Mel’s diner and the waitperson said, «What do you want?» and a cold, «Here(is your drink).» All the while that person finished a story about someone resigning. Sorry to inconvenience all of you… Won’t make that mistake, again! Luckily, there are plenty of other Starbucks locations that I can frequent.

Great atore, great staff. I’m here at least 4 days a week. My drink is always right! Some days are busier than other but everyone is friendly. Great for studio lots of plugs.

Ordered a chai latte with a shot and asked for it extra hot since it was 20 degrees outside. It turned out to be lukewarm and watery… Could barely taste the spices or anything at all. How can you go wrong on a chai latte? Nice interior though.

There really are 2 reviews to be written, one for late hours and one for busy hours, which is most of the day after ~ 9AM. I happen to love the very late hours(1 – 6AM). That’s because I like to have coffee(a few lattes) and bagels while studying during the night. The staff are great. The Google powered internet solves an old problem with Starbucks – slow WiFi, and is nearly UofM grade. Others(like many of my friends) love the place during the day *because* there is so much bustle and noise. If you like a busy coffee-house scene, it’s great for that during the day.

Parking here can be a nightmare and it’s consistently busy(even at 10am on a Thursday it seems) but the baristas and cashiers are really pleasant and I’ve never had a bum order/drink. I also like its proximity to the nail place(beverage before pampering? Ok, thanks!) and all the outdoor seating(even if the view is busy Washtenaw Ave). Open 24 hours which is great if you’re like me and often jonesing for a late night hot cocoa or a student needing a place to study/camp out for an all nighter.

Coffee and baristas are good. Location is horrible enough though to make me not want to go in. There’s hardly any parking available, it’s at the end of an isolated strip and there’s no easy way out of the mall. Quick trip in can take 10 – 15 minutes.

I love Starbucks. It’s my favorite«chain» coffee shop. Even if you don’t like coffee, they have a lot of great alternatives(tea, hot chocolate, iced drinks, lemonade, etc). Their baked goods are also good! This Starbucks was recently remodeled and has a more«upscale» feel to it. They also appear to have unique coffee separate from their normal offerings. I believe they are open 24 hours and while parking can be a real pain, it’s close to a lot of restaurants, the highway and other shopping along Washtenaw.

This is my usual spot for pre-work caffeine since Starbucks are hard to find and access on the south side of Ann Arbor. The staff and baristas are cheerful, the line is usually pretty short, the store is clean, there is plenty of seating, and they spell my name right … you’d be surprised at what I’ve found on my Starbucks cups! I’m a sucker for the caramel macchiatos as well as the green tea latte which apparently can be served cold. It’s a great spot to stop at in the morning and parking is easy to find. What made my experience even better today was the sample of chocolate croissant that I got to nibble on while waiting for my drink.

Newly renovated! Looks like they have a clover machine here which is legit. It’s a special brewing machine not available in most Starbucks locations. August 5th is the La Boulange launch! Excited as I used to live in SF. This means more pastry options. Hopefully they’ll have the margarita and ham/cheese croissants. Party.

It’s been remodeled… they put more seats in their, but now it looks more crowded, less space… parking still sucks though :) One good thing about this place: 24×7 :)

The ONLY reason I go here is because they have late hours and during the school year they are open 24 hours. That is IT. The staff here is incredibly unfriendly. The place was recently remodeled and looks good. They have a fireplace inside and outside. The parking is always really congested and good luck getting a table between 5pm and 9pm. If I’m in the mood for a quick coffee I drive a mile up the road to the other starbucks with a drive thru where the staff is actually quite nice.

I am not much a coffee drinker or a huge Starbucks fan in general. I went here on a rainy day after being in a bad mood and I got incredibly fast and friendly service. By the time I was done talking with a the barista my drink was ready. What more could I want from a chain coffee store?

This is a very busy Starbucks! Located in Arborland Mall, it gets lots of traffic. It’s located in a little cul-de-sac where parking can be a B! Maneuvering in and out of this parking lot will definitely make your coffee leak– get one of those green coffee top things. Service is good, fast, and consistent. There is a fireplace, comfy chairs, small round tables as well as long rectangular tables ideal for group studying. Open 24 hours, it’s perfect if you’re a student looking to escape downtown coffee shops for a little peace and quiet in the middle of the night.

Open 24 hrs! Usually busy since they’re the only Starbucks open so late and hard to find a seat. Small parking lot, so you’ll have trouble finding a spot when it’s busy. If you manage to stake out a spot, you’re golden for that all-nighter you’re pulling for your exam/assignment.
