Renaissance

I am new in town and needed to find a more upscale suit than you can get at the chain stores and department stores. Being on a tight timeline for an important client meeting, I went to see Bill. I was pleased to find out he had a full range of suits to offer, everything from reasonably priced basic suits, to high-​end «semi-​custom» suits, and full custom suits. I selected a mid-​range Italian suit. Bill marked it up for alterations and had it sent to the tailor before I left the shop. Because it was going to be a couple of hours late getting it back from the tailor on the day I needed it, Bill drove to my house to drop the suit off that night. Suffice it to say I felt like a million bucks wearing my new suit for the client meeting, and felt like a VIP with the service I received. Bill is really knowledgeable and helpful in choosing the right suit and matching it up with shirts and ties, and getting the alterations right. I just do not find this level of service and expertise at the chains and department stores. So, if you are near Ann Arbor and need a few quality items for your wardrobe, I think you will be very pleased with the service at Renaissance. Thank you Bill!

I had such a wonderful experience shopping at Renaissance. The most effort I had to put forth was trying on the clothes. Roger picked them out, lined them up, and tailored them to fit perfectly. The prices are reasonable for the high quality material and detail.
AND… this store has a rare luxury for Ann Arbor, a small covered parking lot for easy in and out.
Department stores beware, there is no comparison once you shop with this level service and selection.

Got excellent service and advice when my boyfriend had to get a sleek suit for an all white party. When my friend Steve said he got a nice suit here, we decided to check it out. They mostly have suits, pants, and blazers for men, but they do have a small selection of businessy clothes for women.
They also have a sale section where items are marked down as far as 60%, which is where David found his white pinstriped suit. Our salesperson was very helpful. He told us that suit rules are made to be broken. If David wanted no cuffs with a pleated pant, that was absolutely fine. He also pinned David’s jacket saying men usually wore their sleeves too long and made the suit look a lot better.
They also have a comfy couch and fashion magazines in case you are waiting on someone.
