Matt Fahoome – State Farm Insurance Agent

Friendly, knowledgeable, courteous staff. I call for the most random questions and they are so nice about helping me and getting me the answers I need. I highly recommend Matt Fahoome — State Farm Insurance Agent.

Seems that agents here are very careless on details, twice my name has been misspelled (as in, having numbers in my first name !?! really who’s name starts with a 9?), i have been sent the wrong form to take to the Secretary of State (after about 4 trips and 6 phone calls, they managed to email the right form.) After spending over 700 $ insuring a lot of property with them, they are actually not sure i am insured. Really??? But my credit card is charged, so really, am i just paying top dollars for this goofy, no-​attention-​to-​detail, service? Terrible value for the money (indeed the people answering the phone are polite and courteous) and as the other review says it, very friendly when it comes to taking money.

State Farm in general tends to have good customer service and good responsiveness. As far as claims, when someone hit my car (while I was parked, mind you), the agents here did listen to the story. They tended to refer me to the corporate office which I wasn’t too pleased with. Though I understand that the nat’l hotline handles claims, I would prefer they look into my case on my behalf.
Because really, that’s the only time you need your agent, right? .is when someone doesn’t look where they are going and bumps into the driver side of your car WHILE you are parked. The only time the agents here were very friendly was when they were signing me up for their insurance (of course).
In general, as a local chapter, I wish they were a little bit more «on top of things» and responsive to their clients. It just seemed like when an accident actually happens, they don’t have a lot of answers or responses to questions. I think this office is fully capable of improving on this.
