Description

Specialties

At Conor O’Neill’s, we pride ourselves on great Irish hospitality, good food, a vast selection of imported beers and spirits, and friendly service. We are an Irish restaurant located in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor directly on Main Street. The only authentic Irish bar in town, we are surrounded by great people and have an amazing atmosphere. We offer an extensive drink menu, serve traditional Irish dishes, and have an excellent draft beer selection.

Ann Arbor’s favorite gathering spot, Conor O’Neill’s offers great American and Irish food and is famous for our Fish and Chips. During the week, we have fun entertainment. On Mondays, we offer Pub Trivia and have live music on Tuesdays with the great Shaun Garth Walker. Come for lunch, dinner, or happy hour and enjoy our menu full of sandwiches, soups, salads, and more. We look forward to welcoming you to Conor O’Neill’s.

History

Established in 1998.

Pubs in Ireland are much more than a place for drinking, they are a social experience, part theatre, part debating chamber, and part living room. The pub often seems an extension of the living room and in many rural parts of Ireland also act as the local shop with one corner serving butter and eggs and the other serving foaming glasses of stout.

Our aim at Conor O’Neill’s is to bring to Ann Arbor a truly authentic traditional Irish Pub. To do so, we had our pub designed and built in Ireland. The front of Conor O’Neill’s is the ‘shop pub’ with its timber floors and many shelves and drawers for the merchandise that would be sold. In the back is the cottage wall, where Publican would open his doors to friends and neighbors alike for cheerful hours of drinking, storytelling, conversations, and music. Throughout the pub we’ve displayed Irish bric-à-brac that represents Irish music, literature, sports, and history.
