History

Established in 1975.

Dennis and Carole Bartels created Bartels Giant Burger in 1975. They wanted to provide our customers with a really good «Old fashioned burger» made from the freshest ingredients. They also wanted to make sure that you received quality service each, and every time you came to visit. Today, they have three locations to serve you, Anderson, Redding and Corning.

Business Owner

Dennis and Carole Bartels came to California from Nebraska to start a new life in their 1940 Ford pick-​up truck. That was 50 years ago and in 1975 they decided to open Bartels Giant Burger. They now have three locations they run with the help of their two sons. The philosophy of providing their customers with a quality «Old fashioned burger» along with friendly and curteous service is just as strong today as it was in 1975.
