Buyer Beware!!!
We just purchased a brand new 2016 Jayco Precept from B & B. Glen, our salesman was great and we loved him.
We purchased the motor home with out yet seeing it, as it was being shipped directly from the factory. The motor home arrived within a reasonable amount of time. We of course were excited to go do our walk through and take our rig home. At the walk through we noticed that some small trim damage had occurred during the transport from Indiana. Not really that big of a deal. B & B assured us it will be fixed and have ordered the parts.
The problems began after we got our coach home and began finding problem after problem. Self leveling jacks were not working, only 2 jacks would come down, the radio fell into the console when we turned it off, drivers side floor heater vent hangs down over the gas pedal, we collected at least 20 screws from various places on the floor of the coach, a hose was sticking out from under the slide on the interior of the coach… the list goes on and on. I don’t blame B & B for these things not being right, but think that should have done a better job inspecting the coach prior to delivery. But these were problems that occurred at the factory and might be expected with a new coach…
We took the coach back to B & B the day after we took it home. The service department took our list of complaints without too much said. They actually seemed a bit annoyed that we had brought the coach back. They had our coach for 3 days. At no point during this time, did anyone call to touch base and keep us in the loop. Again excited to pick up our coach, we were mortified to find that a cabinet/​counter had flown open while someone from B & B was driving our coach and broke the dinette table almost completely off! And damaged the catch for the cabinet/​counter. There is no way they didn’t know this happened and they were returning our coach to us this way! Thank goodness my husband noticed before we drove away!
We again got our coach home and began looking at things… The leveling jacks still don’t work! The floor vent still hangs over the gas pedal (they say it is supposed to be there)…And now they have caused additional damage to our vehicle!
We are truly disappointed in the service department at B & B! I understand that sometimes things aren’t perfect with a new coach, but you would think that after spending $ 100,000 on a motor home that they would go above and beyond to fix the problems, and certainly wouldn’t send the coach back without making sure that they are fixed!
We will be back at B & B again tomorrow and our motor home will sit there again until it is fixed properly!

I was recently shopping for a new RV, trading in my old one, a 2013, for something bigger and built better. Fell in love with the Open Range Light. We DID NOT end up buying from B and B. Read why…
Alex was our salesman. Alex did a great job. We visited a few different times to look at that trailer. We walked in over 50 new trailers at several dealers but nothing compared to the open range. Alex was always more than willing to help, set it up, move it and plug it in. He was not totally prepared with all the facts about the trailer the first visit but obviously did his homework because the second visit he knew a lot more. That’s what a good salesman would do.
We decided on that trailer and had every intention to buy it from B and B. I had gone online to see what other dealers were selling the same unit for so I knew what we wanted to pay.
The msrp was 50 grand. Other dealers had same trailer, same msrp, listed on sale at 36 000. Chuck, sales manager, came at me with 44k for the new trailer and 10k for my trade. I showed him what others were selling for and made it clear they had to come way down. He comes back with 42k for new trailer and 8k for trade… im not stupid. They ended up coming down 1000 bucks after over an hour. I told them I was gonna call freedom rv in fresno and see what they would do. The next AM I call Fresno and we make a deal over the phone for thousands less than B and B for same option trailer. Yes, you read that right, thousands, many many many thousand LESS to drive to Fresno. They actually came down more without me even asking just to make it a even number. B and B were not gonna be able to come close to that price.
To sum things up, Alex did a great job and I highly recommend him. We really wanted to give him the sale after all he did for us. The problem is, if you buy a RV from B and B I can almost guarantee that you are paying too much. Do your homework. Someone bought that open range we were looking at so good for b and b. The buyer did not get a good deal but they got a beautiful trailer. Shop around and go to rv trader to see how low they can go. Ask for Alex if you do go to b and b, but be aware of the high prices for same unit.

I purchased a 2011 Jayco fifth wheel, and we love it. We purchased it from the original owner who purchased it new from B&B RV. He spoke very highly of them, and when it came time for the end of season service to be done on it, I did not hesitate to take it back to B&B for service.
When I scheduled the service appointment, they told me that they have a standard end of season service package, and it sounded reasonable. I asked that some additional services be performed while it was in the shop; upgrade the kitchen faucet, add an additional laundry basket, and pack the wheel bearings.
The day before our first trip of the year, after having the services done by B&B, we were loading up the rig and I found that the left bowl of the kitchen sink was cracked. Upon examination, I found that the crack originated from under the drain basket. It appears that when the faucet was installed, they removed the drainpipe under the sink to get to the water lines for the faucet. When they replaced the drainpipes, the nut that holds the drainpipe to the drain basket was over-​tightened and cracked the thin plastic sink. Nothing I could do about this at the last minute, so off we went with a half functioning sink. Unfortunately it gets worse.
When we arrived at our first stop, we tied into the water service and I discovered that the water line connecting the new faucet to the trailer supply line was leaking. It turns out that they never put Teflon tape around the faucet water line, nor was there any pipe dope used. There was nothing done to seal the connection between the faucet water line to the trailer water supply line. I installed some Teflon tape and that seemed to slow the leak. The leak was slowed enough that I could put a bowl under the connection to catch the drip and prevent damage to the under sink shelf. This was not the only leak in the sink.
It turns out that when they reattached the drainpipe to the right sink tub drain basket they never used any sealant or gasket, and the drain leaked like a sieve. I pulled the drain apart, used some plumber’s putty and Teflon tape and it sealed well enough to get us through the trip with the use of drip pan under it.
The door for the laundry basket took an inordinate amount of time to get back from Jayco; not B&B’s fault. Eventually B&B got it installed. Unfortunately, B&B did not properly install the laundry basket, and the frame around the basket fell apart. Upon examination I discovered that the cabinet frame was not properly attached and reinforced; simply sloppy workmanship.
When I was finally able to communicate with B&B, they told me that they cold not send anyone out to fix the problems, but that they would be glad to look into the issues when I bring the rig back to them. Mind you, we are on the coast in Fort Bragg for 2 weeks. When I spoke with them about the issues, they started to do the oh shit shuffle and try to make excuses as to why these problems were not theirs. One excuse was that the trailer sat for 4 months between the end of the year service and the first trip out. When I explained that the sink and water lines had not leaked since they day it was first bought in 2011, they did not respond. They tried to blame the issues on my not inspecting their work to ensure that the connections were properly tightened. They tired to say that the drains were never disconnected to install the new faucet; but that is very unlikely because an individual would need to have Plastic Man’s elastic superpowers to wind around the plumbing and up behind the sink to get to the faucet connections.
I was told by B&B that they checked and charged the batteries during the service. I could not understand why the batteries would not hold a charge. It turns out that the wrong sized batteries were placed in the rig, and one of them was dead and boiling over. Additionally, the blade fuse connecting the batteries to the solar panels (which were installed by them) was blown. None of the was disclosed to me by B&B even after they checked and serviced the batteries. Why would they not report these problems? How could they miss them? I would have had them serviced.
I will not go back, and I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Will NEVER deal with them again. My dad just bought a new toy hauler there. My dad is 93 and they said they would deliver it to him, he lives over 100 miles north of them. After he sent them a cashiers check for the total amount they said he had to come to the dealer for a walk through. Then we we were told we get a $ 200 credit as we just wrote a $ 30,000 check for the toy hauler. Well that ended up being a $ 25.00 credit. We gave them pictures of our 2004 26 foot travel trailer for a trade in. We brought the trailer down to trade in and they said it was worth nothing and if we still wanted the toy hauler we would have to pay an addition $ 3000. We ended up pulling our trailer back 130 miles back home. I live east of Stockton ca and drove to Etna to get dad and the trade in then back to Anderson and back to Etna then home in Two days over 1000 miles because they would not do what they said and deliver the you hauler to dad and have him sign the papers for the already paid for toy hauler.

Chris in the service depart is simply not getting paid for what he is worth… Employees like that are invaluable! He made us feel so comfortable with the trailer we bought during the walk thru and setting up of the fifth wheel hith to make the unit ride safe.
After the terrible experience with the store that sales Grand Design in Sacramento B&B restored our faith in making these kinds of purchases.

We are on our way home from a week of camping and had a wheel fire coming through the mountains. They found someone to shave the bearings which saved us from having to buy a new axle for our weekend warrior. Very reasonably priced AND had us ready to get back on the road the next morning. Friendly an courteous, especially Jason. Thank you B & B!

This place is the biggest joke. Lies and lies. Treated me, a female with such disrespect. They disgust me. Took two and a half months to do a two week job. They are dishonest and unscrupulous. The service mgr should be fired.

Great service honest & friendly, very knowledgable staff. Understood our problem & it was repaired in an afternoon. They adjusted the work orders to fit us in since we were from out of town. I would highly recommend
B & B.

My husband and I were on our 2^nd day, of a five month tour of the US, in our Motorhome, when the engine died. We had driven from Tacoma, WA and got as far as Redding, CA. After asking around, we were told that B & B RV Center in Anderson, CA, was the place for RV repairs.
The staff at B & B, including the service technicians and the sales staff, were so very helpful. Jack Barker, the service manager, was incredibly caring and understanding. When they didn’t have the part that was needed and would arrive the next day, they allowed us to stay on their property, hooking our RV to their water and power. This saved us from having to get a hotel room with our four dogs.
