This Elite event was amazingly put together. Ryan, thanks again for always taking the time to say hi and most importantly, I got in. =)~ Everything from the valet, personal escort to the party, personalized etched glass as a souvenir(something different than the Unilocal swag), open bar, lamb chops being my favorite appetizer of the night on the tasting menu and let’s not forget the bourbon tasting and spread of dessert. It was to say the least, awesome! We had photo booths and a even something new to me, a digital graffiti photo makeover. Let’s start name dropping. The sales directors of Marriott like Maribel Denner, Mark and even the General Manager John Kalinski, all gladly shook hands and took time to chat with me. They were genuine and we were all excited to enjoy each others company. Good laughs, strong drinks, great layout, beautiful live music, additional outdoor seating, this bar is worthy to host and impress out of town guests with upscale décor and no snobby attitude. This was an awesome party and I even got meet someone from the media– Arlene, who’s a blogger at . I must say, it feels good to be Elite!

The highlight of the night had to be the Digital Graffiti Wall. You don’t need mad skills to paint on the DGW. You first start by taking a snapshot of yourself, then grab a digital spray can and go. Using a screen background, it’s a great way to get your imagination going. A perfect piece of hi tech to bring the guests together at the Media Preview for the nFuse Bar & Kitchen. Of course there was a lot more at the VIP Event than just that. How about 3 hours of open bar? I’m talkin’ about Bacon Blood Mary’s, Macallan 25 Year, Johnnie Walker Blue, or just about any poison of your choice. Bring on the unlimited finger foods and desserts from nFuse Bar & Kitchen. Music came in the form of a live performance by David Ryan Harris. From there, you move to the beat of the Tasting Room where you can sip and savor the fine browns, being whiskey and bourbon of course. Top the night off with a beer mug or cocktail glass with your engraved name. Where are all the Unilocalers at? Rather surprised that I didn’t see very many of us. I rolled into this one with the«Hiking Gourmand» Frank S and«To Da Face» Qster H. I was able to spot Grace L and Diana T. Also, met new friends Bea K, Mai N, and Tamara T. And of course Ryan C was also there to lead us into the night. This was an awesome event. Set inside the luxurious Marriott Hotel in Anaheim. It was the least bit crowded, with plenty of smiles going around. The servers were all so friendly and courteous. Even your valet parking was comp’d. What a premier way to ring in the new year. Have a blessed 2015 folks and I’ll see you at the next Unilocal event.

Such a wonderfully put together event! As soon as you pulled up you immediately got taken care of. From valet to getting the beautiful Marriott’s doors opened for you and the staff attentively making sure you knew what was going to take place it started off excellent. Check in and grab a wristband and a bag. «Open bar and a bag for a nice personalized gift.» I went straight to the bar to grab and drink and digress from the work day. Walked around and picked a beer mug and they had someone engraving them… Love the ring to «Bea’s Brew» in the most beautiful penmanship. After that I met another fellow Unilocaler and tagged along with her :) Hi Mai N. ! We were brought to where the delicious food was. To name a few: Lamb, bite size fish tacos, amazing salad, *lobster mac and cheese — bomb! Ribeye sliders, ahi tower … Then a beautifully set-up dessert area. My eyes were just glowing with excitement. Everything tastes superb! Photo booth fun of course and they had a whiskey tasting section. So much fun. While we were eating and mingling our ears were serenaded with a wonderful guitarist singing and playing. Loved every minute of this night. Thank you, Ryan C. For making sure I wasn’t a complete loner as this was my first event ever attending. The Unilocal community is legit!

A-mazing event. After an hour drive from Irvine to Anaheim, I was ready for some awesomeness. Pulled up to the hotel, and was promptly handled by the valet staff. The woman who helped us walked with us to the check in table, and was very nice. We checked in, got our wrist bands, and we’re told two amazing words: «open bar» The bar area is beautiful, glass racks on the ceiling holding bottles, directly over the bar seating. Love the glass jars of various fruits, veggies, and bacon, on the bar side. Bartenders were plentiful, nice, and made you a strong drink. Blackberry vodka gimlet? Um yes. Amazing. Love the glasses we got, and we had our names etched on them! How cool. Moved over to the food area, and omg, so much food! The servers kept coming around, and everything we tried was really good. Pork sliders: really good. Lobster mac n cheese: had two dishes. Dessert display in the back was interesting, and very beautiful. The butterscotch pudding was delicious. There was a bourbon and whiskey tasting room in the back, but did not imbibe. Every staff member we came in contact with was incredibly nice, and even brought us drinks! Everyone asked how the experience was, how the food was, or how the drinks tasted. Thank you Ryan for an amazing event!

I am so glad I got into this event, even when I was waitlisted I still had hope and I got in! My +1 and I arrived around 5:50pm(yes we are early birds), and we pulled up to the valet and everything was handled. We checked in, was given wrist bands for our access to the private event, and then walked over to the man who was engraving some cocktail glasses or mugs. He did a wonderful job and I was so intrigued by his skills! My friend and I waited in the beautiful and upscale bar as we were munching on some delicious mixed nuts with another bowl of cheese and olives. We sipped on some drinks. They recommended their California Love drink, which contained: ketel one orange vodka, lemonade, orange infused simple syru, orange marmalade, raspberries, and mint leaves. This is a very light refreshing drink! AFter waiting for about 30 mins or so, we walked over to the other side of the bar where they were serving all sorts of food such as lobster mac and cheese, roasted brussle sprouts, lamb, 2 variety of salads, fish tacos, sliders, chips, veggies and pita bread with hummus, shrimp, ahi tuna, flatbread pizza, and dessert! My favorite was the lobster mac and cheese! It was so rich and creamy and there were actual large chunks of lobster! What really got to me was the dessert! Everything was so tasty!!! THe only thing I didn’t like was this one chocolate ball that had alcohol in it!!! I already had enough alcohol in my system so as I plopped that thing in my mouth, Ryan C. suggested I wash it down with more alchy! ;) There was a whisky tasting bar as well but I did not partake in that as I do not like whisky but the set up in the area looked amazing The photobooth was ridiculously huge! We were talking to the guy and he said you can basically fit 20 people in there! amazing! They did a fantastic job manning the photobooth. So organized and efficient with everything! The outside of this bar looked so fancy! Outside fire pit to warm yourself and it feels like such a romantic area. The staff were on top of their game all evening trying to make our experience the best! Thank you to all who put their hard work and dedication into this place and event! I am so close by that I will definitely stop by again soon! Thank you Ryan C. for the invite! I, in fact, did do something again… in a classy way ;)(inside joke!)

Thank you Marriott! Excellent music, food, drink and service. The complimentary engraved mugs was a very nice touch. Food was excellent and the Bacon Bloody Mary was delicious.
