Stanford Inn & Suites

I can’t complain about this hotel. We will definitely will be staying here again. Are room was very nice, I believe it may have been remodeled recently. The microwave and fridge were a def plus. Downside bed was a little too soft for me. Breakfast ran for three hours, hot sausage, eggs, and potatoes, diy waffles, pancakes, cereal juice etc. We parked for free, they even let us leave the car after checkout while we went to Disneyland.
Hotel is within walking distance. However, those are six long blocks. I suggest the shuttle since you will be doing plenty of walking. We caught it across the street so we didn’t have to ride down and loop back. Only downside is the pool had a lot of chlorine. The mat in the bathtub was permanently stuck (creeps me out). will def stay again.

I loved this hotel! Very welcoming! Free guests & free wi-​fi. The rooms we had had Disney stuff inside so it made it fits right into the Disney area. The room had a microwave, fridge and complimentary coffee and tea. Couple restaurants around. The room had towels for days. Lol unlike other hotels I’ve stayed at. Will definitely be staying here again in the future!

We booked a last minute room through
to accommodate our party of 6. Opening the door we were hit with a musty smell and figured this is the type of room we would get for last minute booking. The room was a good size with 2 bathrooms, 2 queen beds and a bunk bed. I had the kids take off their shoes to relax and run around before heading out again. When it was time to put on shoes both of the kids and myself, looked at the bottoms of our feet and they were completely black! I had to wash the filth off our feet. We had to get pool towels and lay them as carpet runners on the floor. Overnight, we kept the a/​c on and woke up to find all the towels were completely moist. Next time I’ll have to just pay an extra $ 100 to stay at the Marriott.

Great room and great price. We had the family suite with two bathrooms. Everything was very clean. Small burn mark on the carpet from the iron but other then that everything was perfect. The boys loved the Disney decorations in the room and the pool. Lots of parking and the breakfast was good. About a 20 min walk to Disneyland and a 10 min walk to the Disneyland parking lot with buses. About 20 min after check-​in the front desk called to make sure we were happy with our room which was very nice. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone.

I was hesitant in booking a family vacation with the Cdn dollar trading at $ 0.71, but was delighted to find a price of $ 200 CAD per night at the Stanford Inn & Suites for a family suite; this price was unbeatable for the area. Our room had two double beds and a whole separate bedroom with bunk beds, a TV and a bathroom suite for our two boys, it was fantastic! The beds were comfortable enough, not incredibly comfortable, but not uncomfortable either and leaving us sore and achy, the boys were thrilled with their own room and bunk beds and it allowed us to put them to bed and be able to watch some TV and do our own thing in the evening. Our room (151) was situated on the south-​facing side of the building so it stayed cool and we couldn’t hear our neighbours next door, but the upstairs neighbours, you could hear every single footstep, there’s absolutely no sound-​proofing. Breakfast was top notch: hot waffles, pancakes, eggs, sausages, bagels, toast, yogurt, juices, milk, cereals, apples — get there fast or go a bit later!
The hotel is older, but has been renovated, so in that regard you get what you pay for. The rooms are visually appealing, the bathroom floor tiling was a bit cracked and the tub was older looking, but nothing that would prevent us from staying there. The hot water lasted a really long time and have bathtubs for the kids which was nice for our family.
The front desk and staff overall were very hardworking and friendly. The one front desk member, however, was not very knowledgeable about the bus schedule, which was discouraging. The ART bus to Disneyland stops right in front of this hotel, which is amazing. You can buy 1 or 3 day passes right from the front desk. This hotel is NOT within walking distance to Disneyland. We rented a vehicle and were happy to not have to pay for parking, closer to the park hotels charge about $ 15-​$ 18/​night for parking, so this was a big bonus for us. This hotel is within walking distance to a lot of great restaurants and Target is only 1.5 blocks away where we bought some groceries from and the room has a mini fridge and microwave which was great!
I recommend to get your room cleaned every single day. We skipped one day to give the staff a break and regretted it. The only day we didn’t get it cleaned the room had a distinct musky/​musty odor to it and I don’t know if there is a problem with the air conditioning that causes the smell (mildew??) and the cleaning of the rooms mask it daily, or what… but it is a distinct smell (as other reviewers have noted) and it wasn’t terribly pleasant but also wasn’t enough to make me repulsed.
I wish this hotel had the option for recycling, we had to throw away pop cans and yogurt bottles I would normally recycle at home. The pool was closed for maintenance almost all day Sunday of our trip, VERY discouraging and poorly communicated by staff and it wrecked our planned day of rest at the pool that Sunday — originally pool was to be closed until 1PM so we came back for 1 and they changed it to 3PM. When I showed up at 4:30 with our one child, they were STILL working on tiling the shower. I decided to just go swimming regardless and the worker cleaned up and left. This maintenance should have been done on a weekday morning from 7 – 11, in my opinion, so families can enjoy the pool they are paying for. The Wifi was very patchy. We brought our Apple TV and it streamed Netflix beautifully, but the Wifi on our smart phones and iPad kept cutting in and out which was a pain.
Overall, very happy with this hotel. Next time we come to Disneyland I think we will try to stay closer to the park, but if the dollar doesn’t improve we would have no concerns booking at the Stanford Inn again.

Pro: Free parking, free breakfast, clean lobby.
Con: Dirty room, dirty bathroom, dirty hallways. Breakfast hour is way too short.
Came here with the family for a quick recharge, the room we got was just filthy. The sheets were stained with burnt marks, bedding are bleed through on some spots. Carpet is muddy with paint chips fallen form the wall — it wasn’t just one spot, it was all over the room. Was we hilarious is the sloppy painted actually go over electrical outlets and door hinges, but that is just an visual issue.
Would not be staying at this place again.

Would definitely recommend this hotel for Disneyland travellers. Clean, well outfitted rooms. Courteous helpful staff. Great pool! Quiet — we slept great. The ART shuttle picks up right in front. 5 mins to Disneyland. Door to door service. $ 12 for 3 days. Very pleased and a fantastic rate! Very good choice for families.

If there is ANY type of hospitatlity, privacy, or good service at this hotel, it MUST have changed management… good luck 2 those or dare 2 venture there! A male hotel employee came into our «do not disturb» room twice & without even knocking, he just opened the door… thinking he was maybe going 2 swipe something or perhaps they hire perverts, ppl with no respect, no morals or cant read the door signs etc. good thing we were just taking a nap & NOTHING else! I guess if u want something postive about this hotel, it is CHEAP, but u get what u pay for & its pretty quick 2 walk 2 Disneyland other than that… wouldn’t wish for ANYONE 2 stay here

I am impressed with this hotel.
Not only did I get a great rate the night before my arrival but it was. Clean, spacious, and very kid friendly. My children enjoyed the bunk beds and having the 2 bathrooms was amazing for getting g everyone ready in a timely manner
We will be returning for future stays.

I stayed for 5 nights. It was great stay. Clean room, free breakfast and wifi. The distance from the convention center was great. I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel I found the night of checking in as my family and I put of the moment decided to get a hotel. It was reasonably priced and I’m glad we stayed here. The staff was kind, the rooms were clean had a fridge and a microwave. Overall it was a pleasure staying here -!: would stay here again l.

We drove to Disneyland from San Diego as part of our Vegas-​California vacation, it was midnight by the time we left disney and realized it was way too late to drive back to San diego. We started calling hotels and everyone was fully booked or too expensive. We thought we had to sleep in our car, yikes! Luckily I remembered I had downloaded the «hotel tonight» app, we found this hotel for $ 90, a bit over out budget for just one night (or 10 hours basically) but since it had free breakfast we reserved it. We arrived to the hotel and the nice and friendly man checked us in in less than 3 minutes. The room was super clean and comfy and the breakfast had more than enough food! Waffles, eggs, sausages, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal. the list goes on! We simply loved this hotel and would definitely stay again!

Don’t let looks fool you! I must admit when I arrived I was a little concerned but immediately after meeting the exceptional staff and my first night I was sold. It was unseasonably warm in Anaheim and there was a little problem with the A/​C but the staff managed it quickly.
If you are looking for a very reasonably priced, comfortable place to stay with a great staff then this is your place.

We are disney annual pass holders and have been to Disney 6 times in the past year. This is our first time at the Stanford and we are impressed. Our room was clean and much bigger than expected (we had the jr. Suite). The area and parking lot felt safe. The pool, while not huge felt away from everything rather than the corner of the parking lot. The free breakfast is a huge plus. It included eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, juice, toast/​bagles, yogurt. The ART picks you up right outside the hotel. The staff has been wonderful. It’s not an upscale resort but rather a nice family hotel. We will definitely be back!

Not a five star hotel, let’s be real. However, I did have a 5 star experience!
My friends and I are under 21, and since this is a problem every time i travel, I called a few days prior to check if they’d allow me to stay there. They said 21 was their policy, so i asked to cancel my reservation, but the manager allowed us to stay. Perfect! Check in was easy and staff were friendly.
(Side rant, I find it ridiculous that as a legal adult, I support myself, work full time, and also go to college full time yet I cannot make a hotel reservation or rent a car. They trust me to vote for our leaders and die for this country but god forbid i stay in a hotel.)
Anyway, free parking, free wifi, free breakfast, and they were very tentative when we needed more towels.
All around great place to stay and i will definitely consider this hotel on my next trip to the Anaheim area!

Whenever we drive to Disneyland, this is where we stay. The rooms are always very clean and the staff is friendly. You can’t beat the free parking and breakfast. The breakfast is good and they have recently added breakfast sandwiches to their menu. They have a small gym that is available for use and they also have a nice heated pool. The walk isn’t too far from Disney if you don’t drive. a shuttle is also available for $ 3 a day per person that will take you to and from if needed. Also appreciate the no smoking zone.
Cons:
This trip we asked for a king bedroom as it is just my boyfriend and I. We called and confirmed this, but when we arrived it was 2 queen beds. Which isn’t a big deal, just wasn’t sure why they confirmed if it wasn’t accurate. Oh well. That’s the only complaint we’ve had while staying here.

Everything appeared normal when we first arrived. However, on the very first day of our stay, we opened the cover of the bunk bed and found a bunch of sand on the sheets. The sheets were not only used but filthy, and the maid apparently just tucked the sheets back in to make it look like sheets were replaced. We grew suspicious and checked the other bed, and we found human hair under the cover there as well. We contacted the front desk and a staff came to inspect the beds. She saw the sand and apologized, then she switched us to another room, which was not fun to do at 11pm in our PJ’s. If it weren’t for the sand, we would not have noticed that the sheets were not replaced. Getting clean sheets is the most basic demand, and customers really can’t do much to protect themselves except to trust the hotel that it’s been done. This hotel has definitely betrayed that trust. While we were checking out, another customer was complaining to the front desk about her pillows being dirty. Apparently we were not the only one with this problem. We also saw a huge cockroach crawling by our door, which amused the kids way more than me.
We spoke with the manager 2 days later, and he offered to give us a $ 20 discount for the inconvenience. However, he said that he went to our room and didn’t find any sand on the sheets. Luckily I took a picture of it to prove we don’t see imaginary sand everywhere we go.

Our family stay for 3 nights for Disney land vacation.
Room was very clean and specially kids room was awesome.
Our kids loved that bunker bed and separate their own room.
Also breakfast was very delicious and services was amazingly nice.
Swimming pool also very clean so our kids enjoyed alot.
Our family will definitely stay when we visit Disneyland for the future. .

Stayed on a Friday night and thought it was great for the price! One of the least expensive hotels in the area, and we didn’t want to splurge on a room we weren’t going to be spending much time in since we would just be at Disneyland all day and needed a place to sleep and shower.
Front Desk staff was the sweetest — so friendly, helpful and welcoming! Got to our room on the second floor with a king bed that was not the dreamiest mattress, but comfortable and soft enough for one night’s sleep (we’ve experienced so much worse at other places!). Bedding was clean, room smelled clean, fridge and microwave in the room were clean, bathroom area and shower was clean — absolutely no issues with anything like that.
We had planned on having the free breakfast, but ended up sleeping in a bit late and going to Roscoe’s (across the street) instead. Coffee machine in the room was a recalled Keurig, so wasn’t available for use but they had free coffee in the lobby available the whole time.
Parking — nice sized lot, no additional fee to park and they let us leave our car there the next day after we checked out so we didn’t have to pay for Disneyland parking for the day.
Would definitely stay here again, though would not take the ART again even though the stop is conveniently located near the entrance of the hotel (we got passes for 2 days and many times, they either drove right past us, dropped us off far away, we had to wait 40+ minutes for it, etc.).

Family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Had a bunk bed suite with the extra bathroom. Rooms were very clean walls were a bit thin. We had better luck in our upstairs room versus friends that were downstairs and had noisy family above them. Breakfast was hot and decent. Will stay here again.
