Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin

Fun, colorful, crazy ride with a lot of noise, flashing lights, sharp turns and a cool dark atmosphere. That being said, the ride is fairly short in duration, and it can be a scary ride for sensitive little kids. and if you get dizzy easily do not spin the wheel. I find the spinning and constant sharp turning can be kind of annoying really, makes it harder to see everything. Plus we must be out of shape, because both my wife and I wrenched the hell out of our arms trying to control the car. Ouch! I had to take a star off for the muscle strain. And as others have mentioned, staff at this ride is not the nicest nor very helpful if you need them.
Early in the day, get a fastpass or else expect a line. But late in the day the line is usually shorter.

I don’t know how this ride has such a low review. It’s one of the most unique dark rides Disneyland has to offer. Roger Rabbit is my favorite Disney character and a classic. I’m only 25. All of these people who say it’s not relevant are foolish… Go to Netflix it’s always trending. Anyway I think it’s more detailed and creative than the new little mermaid ride. Nothing about this ride is inappropriate like the movie was. Please don’t remove this ride or toontown Disney!

I remember when this ride first debuted many moons ago, the line was so long but when I went a few years ago I seriously just walked right on the ride in no time. It’s an okay ride, not one of my favorites.

Welcome to the land of Roger Rabbit, tucked way in the back in ToonTown. Actually, if you’re not searching for it, you might not know that this was a ride. Just kidding you probably would. Located close to where you can hear explosive sounds, Roger Rabbit has a 15 minute wait (which is a good amount considering we are in Toon Town.). What happens when you get in the ride? You explore. You get to control your destiny by having a turn wheel on your car, where basically you turn your car. So if you cannot handle that, skiparino.
If you have a Disneyland pass, this is something you might wanna ride once in a while: P Otherwise, I’d go for greener pastures and skip getting a fastpass.

If you are able to, get the fastpass for this ride! It is not a fast moving ride, but it is sure hella fun!
Located right in Toon Town at the happiest place on Earth, Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin is a 7 – 10 minute ride on a taxi that takes you throughout the wacky world in the eyes of Roger Rabbit himself! Wait times can vary. The longest wait time I saw for this ride is 45 minutes. I mean it is fun, but a 45 minute wait? Nah!
This ride does have a few spins but nothing too scary. If you have motion sickness, then this ride isn’t for you. If you remember the movie, then you’ll have that flashback feeling of it! Overall, this is a fun ride that I will go on again next time I am here… for the time being, check out the rest of Toon Town if there is a long wait for this ride!

This ride is so fun! The wait it worth it and everything you can see while you wait is all part of the movie. you are amused during the entire wait time, and best of all there is air conditioning while you wait! this ride is also a little snug, but its really fun when you start spinning the wheel and go in circles like crazy. one of the few hands on rides where you can spin yourself and feel interactive with the ride

Fans of Who Framed Roger Rabbit and children will like this. People who get motion sickness probably won’t.
Waited on line for maybe 5 minutes since we got here early enough, so no complaints there. There’s stuff to look at if you’re on line.
The ride itself is ok with enough nostalgia for the movie along the way. It seemed a little longer than some of the other similar rides, but I didn’t check the time.
The biggest thing with this ride is the car (cab) you’re driving. You can control the spinning and if you hold it right, you won’t spin at all. I didn’t realize this at first while I was watching my child and fiancé in the car in front of me and suddenly was moving rear first. There’s a lot of turns and such, so it took a few to correct and I had to hold the wheel hard to remain «straight» without getting out of control. It’s part of the fun to «drive» like the cab did in the movie though.
If you get motion sickness easy, you should probably skip the ride.
So as others have stated, get here early or get a fast pass if it’s a busy time. Located in Toon Town.

What fun ride. I wish I could remember the movie better. This was just a enough of a reminder of the characters involved. I enjoyed this ride. The only part that was a bit bothersome was the steering wheel on our car was almost impossible to turn, Otherwise a great, colorful, and vibrant. Love the ride. Great for children of all ages.

Forgot how FUN this ride is. So long as it’s 20 minutes or less of a wait, this car ride is loads of fun. It’s like Toad’s ride… on steroids.

This place was fun. The line was WAAAAAAAAAY to freaking long. My god. The ride is what 3 minutes? MAYBE
The place is old school and brings back memories. So thats the best part, the nostalgia. Everything else smells weird and the ride its self is pretty lame.
But the Baby liked it.

This ride was pretty fun… for me. But my poor niece was frightened to death. I guess we should have been aware that it was dark in there. Lots of sounds, flashing lights, and scary clowns. She made it out alive, the only ride she didn’t throw a tantrum to stay on. We’ll stick to the Mad Tea Party and Dumbo the Flying Elephant. ;D

We stood in line for 30 minutes only to have the entire thing break down. There was no way we were going to wait another 30 – 45 minutes for the expected re-​opening time to arrive so we left like everybody else.
I would definitely recommend the FastPass for this ride as the wait in line was tedious. Had we known such a thing existed we would have gone for it.

This 3.5 minute ride is like the many storybook rides in Fantasyland, except based on the (outdated?) movie that I doubt anyone born after 1990 would remember. Still, the ride is a fun one not to be missed if you’ve tackled a lot of the other favorites at Disneyland. and if you aren’t at the park on one of those days where the lines become ridiculously long.
CONS:
— Surprisingly long wait times
— Deceiving layout since the entrance gives you a view of the ride’s loading area
— A bit out of the way compared to many other rides, deep into the park past «It’s a Small World»
— Outdated theme/​movie that the younger folk probably won’t remember. I don’t even remember the movie anymore… and I was born in the 80s!
PROS:
— Spinning. And lots of it… depending on how «good» you are behind the wheel. (This might end up in the «con» category for some.) OH. And the taxi we were in once kept spinning and spinning even without us attempting to. (Glitch? «Special» car?)
— Offers plenty to look at (including Jessica — rawr)… assuming you aren’t spinning too much to see more than a blur of color.

I cannot stress how important it is to get a fastpass for this ride. I haven’t been on this ride in years because no matter what day it is, early or late, empty or crowded, this ride and Peter Pan have the longest lines.
They deceive you into thinking that it’s not that long of a wait because the end of the line is just inside the door. THAT’S HOW THEY GET YOU!!! Because, if you’ve never been on this ride, going from the door to the actual ride takes FOREVER!!! Once you go through the door, the line twists and turns into what seems like eternity until you finally get to the front. I will give it to them because, unlike most rides, you’re actually surrounded by the world of Roger Rabbit while you are on your long journey to the front.
Once you’re past the line the ride is actually super cute and not as short as you would expect it to be. I love the colors and if you choose not to turn the wheel then the car doesn’t spin too crazily. The ride is really worth coming to. The line is probably always so long because it’s only one of two rides in Toontown.

We had a great experience with this ride. In the past this ride has had a very long line. This time the line didn’t seem very long but we did fast pass anyway. We did the fast pass and returned in an hour. We went and enjoyed the rest of toon town then came back through the fast pass line and had about a 2 minute wait. It was great! The cast members were very friendly too!

I don’t understand why this is rated so low. I like this attraction — a lot! The queue is decorated so intricately! But it’s usually really long. Thank goodness… it has FastPasses! And they don’t go out too quickly.
The ride vehicle is Benny (the taxi), and just like in the movie, he drives crazily through the city! It’s a combination of Mad Tea Party and an attraction like Alice in Wonderland or Pinocchio or Snow White’s Scary Adventures. You can spin your taxi by turning the steering wheel! There are two taxis — one in back, one in front. Each taxi fits two people. I love that the people who created this attraction decorated all three hundred and sixty degrees! They thought about it — as you spin and see everything!
The attraction is so colorful, so cartoon, so crazy! I can’t help but giggle every time I ride this attraction. And I’m the person who loves to spin… but doesn’t want to turn the wheel. So, if you want to ride with me, be prepared to use those muscles! Hahaha.

Long line for a cheap ride. I personally did not care for this one and or did my kids. 3 stars for this one.

This is a Fastpass ride!
My baby is CRAY-​CRAY! The moment he found out this ride gives you control to the steering wheel and allows you to spin the car. He went buck wild crazy.
There was no need to go visit the Tea Cup ride anymore. I got my full in of spinning ride. I think he spun the wheel so hard that he possibly broke it.
There was lots of Audio-​Animatronics. Everyone knows Jessica Rabbit. The hottest cartoon during that time. Every guys fantasy. Roger Rabbit appeared several times. I would give you more precise details but I hardly saw it cause my honey kept spinning the car. Lol

My daughter doesn’t know who Roger Rabbit is, but always asks to jump onto this ride whenever we’re at Disneyland visiting Mickey’s Toontown. Sadly this attraction is quite often closed due to repairs, so we don’t get the opportunity to ride it as often as we are in Disneyland.
After winding through a line wrapping around through the dark alleys of Toontown, you arrive at the boarding area where you board a cute taxi cab that whisks you off from the garage straight into a puddle, which causes the vehicle to come «alive» as you spin your way through the ride seeing familiar characters from the movie such as Jessica Rabbit and Baby Herman.
Many people have missed this attraction tucked away in the far corner of Mickey’s Toontown. It’s worth the try if you’ve never done it before. Definitely better for the younger tots than other dark attractions located in Fantasyland.
