I love that they always have groupons, but I don’t like all the exclusions. I don’t think I would shop here if it weren’t for groupon. Maybe if they had a reward program like Sephora and ulta I’d be more inclined to shop there

This place has some great brands but I hate their hours. They close too early! They’d get 4 stars if they would stay open just another 30 minutes, but sadly they don’t!

I always love just walking around this store and finding the top notch brands they carry. Everyone and the managers are helpful for people that are clueless with make-​up aka me! Either way I enjoy that they are selective with their brands and are knowledgable about what works for whom. The displays are neat and not an eye sore like other stores that stuff everything on the floor.
They have a lot of deals for the PB members I periodically get e-​mails on great deals they offer and its actually a steal. Overall, I would suggest this location any day.

I bought an expensive hair dryer at Planet Beauty as the one I bought from Aveda had finally burned out after more than five years of use (at least! I can’t remember when I bought it cuz it lasted so long). After two weeks of use the new one went to half power and no matter how long it sat it would never go full power again. I took it to Planet Beauty in Anaheim Hills where I purchased it and asked for an exchange. Apparently they have a no return or exchange policy on electronics. They said I have to deal with the manufacturer. And apparently this policy is on my receipt and on signs in the store. I guess I never expected a $ 125 hair dryer to have issues after two weeks of use. My own fault for purchasing there I guess. As nasty as the store clerk was with me I will NEVER shop at that Planet Beauty ever again. And if I do shop at another Planet Beauty I would NEVER buy an electronic appliance there. I’ve been a customer of their makeup and beauty products for years.

Danielle provides great customer service. Helpful, friendly and doesn’t push sales on you. Unfortunately, this location is one of the more smaller PB, so not a whole lot of selection. But still would come back here and would recommend.

Wow, I’m surprised by all the negative reviews!
I went to this location for the first time today because I was completely out of morrocan oil & it’s right by my house. I was helped by Danielle (I think) and she was the most helpful, attentive, sweet associate I’ve ever experienced at any planet beauty!!! Planet beauty isn’t the cheapest for salon products but they do have sales often and offer a 20% member discount on pretty much everything in the store. I will come back to this location just for the amazing service I received from Danielle! Give that girl a raise! Promote her to manager if she isn’t already!

I feel swindled by this place. I bought a hair brush, brought it home and decided I wanted the smaller version. I was never told about their return policy. When I returned 2 days later with the brush still in the package she said «sorry we do not return personal items.» WTF– personal item?! Their return policy is posted on a baord hanging from their ceiling well above eye view. Its also printed on the back of the receipt AFTER you purchase it. What a scam!
They have lost my business for being sneaky.

I came here on 10÷5÷13 bc they had a 25% off the entire store promotion… you can’t really beat that when it works on Clarisonic and other big name items that are typically not on sale. The sales people are always really helpful and knowledgeable about the beauty products that they sell, and they don’t always point you to the most expensive option. While I can appreciate all that, I have 2 complaints. Their pricing is pretty hefty and they have a crappy return policy. If it weren’t for the sale, I probably would have purchased my stuff at another store — like at Sephora, ULTA or even online.

I went in this morning (10:00 a.m.) to purchase a few things. There was one other person in the store and the clerk was helping her. I found what I needed and went to the counter. The clerk was helping the other customer and they had a conversation going on. I looked around a little bit more giving the clerk time to finish with her customer. I was standing by the counter and the two continued their conversation. I got tired of listening and waiting, without an «I’ll be right with you» and walked out. The clerk came out calling after me «Maam, Maam, Maam» but I ignored her just like she ignored me. She lost a sale of $ 40+. Don’t think I’ll be shopping here anymore.

The only reason why I come to this location is because it is close to my work… well kind close. I had a OC Register Coupon and needed to get some things. I found what I needed. I much rather go to the Planet Beauty at The Block of Orange, customer service is better and much more friendly.

ive never actually stepped foot in this shop until today when i was looking for some hair coloring products
the lady at the register was nice and knowledgable. she was able to answer all my questions (and trust me I had a lot. i never colored my hair by buying products at a beauty supply shop). i was able to find everything i needed in this shop for a little under 20 bucks. i got my hair color (they only carry the SATIN hair dye line), developer, brush, mixing bowl and gloves. overall i thought this shop was nicely organized and my experience here was pleasant. will def be back if i need to buy some things

Buyers BEWARE! The gals that work here will lie to you for you to purchase items! I went in with a co-​worker to get some items I needed instead of going all the way to the mall. Close to work and convenient right? I bought some items and I was debating on a $ 20 lipgloss. The sales gals tells me (with my co-​worker as my witness) that I can bring it back if I don’t like the color. 3 days return the lip gloss (with my co-​worker.) The SAME sales gal DENIES her statement. My co-​worker tells her she was there and she states she WOULD NEVER say that. I am soooo upset that she LIED. Don’t go here! Go to the mall and save yourself a headache !!!

The Anaheim Hills location of Planet Beauty is a really fun place to shop. They have a great selection on all kinds of beauty items, and I could probably spend a good part of a quiet Saturday looking over the vast supply of shampoos, makeup, lotions, and other important beauty products. Yes, a girl can spend an hour looking for the right shade of nail polish, especially with the store’s great selection of both OPI and Deborah Lippmann.
The staff tries to be helpful and patient with all of my questions. They always seem to know what kind of products are the best with which kinds skin types.
Although the prices are a bit expensive, the store makes up for it with a knowledgeable staff that can answer all of your beauty questions.

Quaint little store next to Cinema City Theaters where you can find many of the top brands in beauty supply. I stopped by here today to get more shampoo and styling gel and the clerk was very friendly and helped me find just what I was looking for. They do have a membership program, kinda like the grocery stores, where you can receive 20% off most products in the store. My purchase of a small bottle of KMS shampoo and some KMS styling gel set me back about $ 25 but that’s typical of most beauty salons. You should be able to find what you need when you come here. Have fun and look good!
