My sisters and I first visited Mega Shoe Factory back in 2007 when we made a trip down to Anaheim. At that time, the store seemed larger and there was a large variety of shoes to choose from. Fast forward to 2014, where we visited before heading back home. To say the least, I wasn’t too impressed with the shoe selection. Unlike what the other Unilocalers have stated, the employees were pretty friendly and were always ready to grab a size. Unfortunately, I found myself questioning the authenticity of some shoes. I mean c’mon, to be honest, the entrance looks very sketchy and ghetto! Minus the aesthetics of the store, the prices are lower than what you find at retail stores, but not quite lower than outlets. I found the same pair of Nike sandals that I got at the Nike outlet for $ 12 selling for $ 20 at Mega Shoe Factory! I guess you might have to come on a good day. I probably won’t be back!

I was in the area some time ago and remembered I needed some shoes for work and thought I’d give this place a try.
After looking around a few minutes one of the staff offered his assistance.
I found what I was looking for at a fair price.
I’d shop here again.

As soon as I walked into the store I had a employee follow and watch me the whole time! I tried the shoes on in the middle of the store and the employee stood there and wouldn’t take his eyes off me. I decided to get the shoes and the employee stood behind me when I paid! I paid $ 70 for a pair of shoes and to be treated like I’m doing something wrong makes me want to return them and take my business somewhere else where I don’t feel like I’m a criminal. I probably could have gone to big 5 next door and got the same shoes for less money and better service!

I have seen this store from the car every time I visit Del Taco next door. I needed some new shoes and thought I would give this store a try.
Going inside, I had this strange vibe that I shouldn’t be here. From the clientele and the scissor style gate they use to lock up the store at night, I just didn’t feel like being in the store.
With needing some black shoes, I still gave it a chance. Normally when I go shoe shopping, I go to places like Vans, Sketchers, and have even found some cool shoes at Khols. As I was looking around, I thought I would find some good deals, but the prices were pretty much the same price one would find at any typical shoe store.
After browsing around for a short time, there was nothing I needed… or wanted from this store.
Oh well…
