Our College Portfolio Preparation Students have been offered over $ 5.40 MILLION in Total Financial Aid Packages, including Scholarships, Grants + Loans to Major Art Schools + Universities! We offer 8-​Week Classes in College Portfolio Prep, Figure Drawing, Figure Painting, Drawing Fundamentals + Photoshop Painting. All Classes are open to students 7^th Grade — Adult. Students do not have to be applying to art colleges to study at Korpus. Private Classes are available + we photograph student artwork for their college portfolio submissions.

History

Established in 2011.

Welcome to the Korpus School of Art. Founded in 2011 by artist Rebecca Kimmel, KSA was established to teach and promote traditional and digital figurative art. KSA offers College Portfolio Preparation for high school and college transfer students. KSA offers programs for high school students through adults. We welcome beginning, intermediate, and advanced students in this age range. Advanced middle school students are also welcome. Students do not have to be preparing a college portfolio to study with us. We have a wealth of experience and a long track record of quality teaching. We are committed to providing our students with high quality traditional art education.

Meet the Business Owner

Rebecca K.

Business Owner

Founder and Owner Rebecca Kimmel has taught at the public and private college and high school level in the Los Angeles area since 2007. She initially studied Fine Art and Liberal Studies at Washington University in St. Louis, MO, where she was a full scholarship finalist. She received her B.F.A. in Illustration from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, and her M.F.A. in Digital Art from George Mason University in Fairfax, VA. She is currently a Senior Lecturer at Otis College of Art, where she teaches through the Digital Media Department.
