Specialties

QD Learning provides an integrated after-​school program, enrichment classes and summer camps. Our enrichment classes include Kung Fu, Private Pianos, Violin/​Viola, Fine Art, Public Speaking and Chinese classes. We also have Common Core Math Assessment (CAASPP) Prep class for Grade 3, 4 and 5. Our 2016 Summer Camp (for K-​8) will run between June 20-​August 26 in 5 unique themes: Musical Theatre, Creative Writing+Film-Making, Startup, Science and Youth Leadership. We also offer Chinese Immersion and Spanish Immersion Camps that is real-​life project-​based and designed by credentialed teachers.

Our philosophy is to learn by doing; improve problem-​solving skills; understand and value diverse world cultures; cultivate creativity, collaboration and perseverance; develop communication and leadership skills.

History

Established in 2015.

The founders of QD Learning are two families with elementary school-​aged children. Like many busy parents, we felt exhausted when we had to assist our children with their homework after a long tiring day. We felt frustrated when we could not figure out the best way to help our children improve. We felt overwhelmed when we had to drive our children to multiple enrichment classes and sports teams. We even felt guilty when we forgot to take them to their classes because we were buried by household chores.

I was desperate to find an afterschool program to keep my boys busy. Little did I know of all the programs QD learning have! This place is excellent if you are looking for extra curricular activities for your little ones! The staff there is very professional and caring. I love the fact that they take time and have an organized way of helping each child with everything that they offer. My son is currently taking piano lessons and is really enjoying it to the fullest. I’m surprised at how much he has learned at QD Learning. I also love how you are able to choose how many days and what days you want to enroll your child. Everytime I go to pick them up they don’t want to leave. I know this is somewhere they really enjoy and i’m grateful to have found QD Learning!!!

I am so glad to have found the QD Learning Center. The staff is super nice and extremely patient. My daughter enjoys going there and learning. Their after school program has a great schedule and is structured. They help them with their homework, which is extremely important as when kids get home from the after school programs they are tired and the last thing they want to do is start homework. They test them on their core curriculum needs by grade level and help them improve in areas they need as core-​curriculum learning is also on their schedules. They have great educational projects that my daughter enjoys learning from and have fun with them too. They offer kids structure play and snacks. Not only do they offer after school programs but they have classes like fine art and piano. And most important my daughter enjoys going there and learning new things.

Soo glad i saw one of QD banners at my boy’s school. The teachers are patient, kind and caring. My boy is having a difficult time transitioning from Preschool with 2 hour naps each day, to a full day kindergarten with no naps. Everyone at QD has been soo patient working with my boy on his off days as he is trying to adjust to the no naps schedule. He loves all his teachers there especially Mr David. Staff is very accommodating and is always willing to listen and trying to help. I love how they have everything a parent wants to offer to their child all under one roof. Music, martial arts, fine arts, tutoring, speech class, ect.
Now they just need a swimming pool for swim lessons. JK :)

They offer a variety of classes, my son has only taken the martial arts and public speaking classes here. He loves the martial arts class. The Shifu (Master) is very patient and is able to work with all the different skill levels of the kids in the class. The facility here is clean. It is sectioned off in different rooms and there’s also an upstairs area as well. Their public speaking class is excellent. My son learned so much from this class. Overall, really nice facility, friendly staff and good classes.

It is definitely the best learning center we have been to! Our family had came here few times already. We were so impressed by the music and martial art performed during the opening, my boy wished he can fly like the master! The movie making was so inspiring and made my little one wants to be a producer. The last but not the least, Sat family night was a blast, we all had so much fun. QD learning, we want you to come to Irvine!!!

This is great Learning Environment full of activities and children ready and willing to learn. The learning environment is Clean and Safe for everyone. Teaching at Hollywood Educational Literacy Project helping children with special needs was a Rewarding Challenge that turned into an adventure and teaching at church has been a blessing. Being an instructor here has given me the opportunity to exercise my teaching skills once more and remind myself this World is full of amazing CHILDREN they all need our time and effort to help them shine. Don’t pass the opportunity to get your children involved and ready to shine! Gob bless you all and I look forward to my class Growing.

Both my daughters really enjoy the Youth Leadership program. The teacher is great! The kung fu master is very good too. Even I got a good workout from it last Wednesday. Looking forward to do more kung fu at QD!
