K & A Cafe

I just had Door Dash deliver to the office. A plus for partnering with them and getting my order out so quickly.
I placed the order at 10:30 am and my food arrived at 11:10, like clockwork. They are located in Anaheim on the east end, and I am in Fullerton… efficient.
I ordered the Strawberry Salad with a scoop of chicken salad. It was delicious. The greens were absolutely fresh and they heaped on the chicken salad. Good job guys.
The vinaigrette dressing it came with was very good also.
The chicken salad was delicious and fresh. It did not taste like old chicken.
It was worth the 9.00 price tag.
I also ordered the ham sandwich (cold) and a side of potato salad.
The ham sandwich was kind of sad… it had 1 small slice of yellow cheese that looked like a Kraft slice and the tomatoes were cubed? I’ve never seen that before. It made it difficult to eat. The tomatoes kept falling out all over the place, along with the lettuce.
Not much ham either. The sandwich itself is not substantial. Not worth the money.
The potato salad however, was very good.
I ordered both things so I could have dinner later also. I will happily devour the rest of my salad. I probably won’t waste the calories on the sad ham sandwich however.
I’m hoping the owners see this and step up their sandwich game to match the salads.
I would definitely order another salad from K & A. A sandwich? Not so much.

K&A has a special in my lunch rotation. When I feel like comfort food, but still want to keep it light… this is the place I turn to. And they always deliver.
They have a really great lunch menu. Tacos, burgers, wraps and so forth… But I really come here because of their breakfast offerings. I’m a breakfast burrito kind of a guy. And working in Anaheim, I’ve eaten breakfast burritos from several other eateries. This one stands as one of the top 1%.

I may have a problem because it’s really all I can order here. They are that good. I’ve had the regular bfast burrito, the fiesta burrito, the healthy soyrizo burrito, and custom bfast burritos. The thing with K&A is they are so accomodating. I am not a health nut, but I do try to cut down on some things when I can. No cheese. No problem. Light on the potatoes. Done. Extra hot sauce… boom, it’s on your table side. Any customization to your burrito or otherwise is just a request away. Ingredients are fresh. Eggs are always light and fluffy. And the burritos are never oily. It’s clean. Light. And tasty.

Solid eatery. I’d stick to breakfast. Don’t be afraid to customize. This place treats their customers right. And the food is on point. Solid 4 stars!

Great spot for lunch. I ordered the California green salad and added 2 portions of chicken. The salad came out quickly and was perfect.

Some of the friendliest staff I have ever met! Fresh and great tasting food. Plus they’re located right across the street from my job.

Amazing food and the people are really friendly. They make you feel like they really value your business. It’s a great place for breakfast with awesome options. Also there is an assortment of board games you can play while yout their.

This is my 5^th time at Good Food, which is like a mall cafeteria with multiple restaurants and my 2^nd time eating at K&A. The people here give amazing friendly service and the food is delicious. their menu is simple but offers a wide array of food from Health conscious to not so healthy. Kathy & Art have a home cooked approach to their menu with a commercial flare. The Buffalo Chicken wrap I had today had the choice of flour, wheat, Tomato or Spinach tortillas. Also, the choice of about 8 different sides, I went with the Side Salad. THE COOKIES ARE TO DIE FOR!!! so good! so Good! Love this place!

Love K & A! We partner with them at my work a lot for catering needs and frequent for lunches! The owners, Kathy and Art (K & A, get it?) are a blessing to work with. They treat their customers with loyalty and respect, time and time again!
I love the honey mustard chicken wrap and their POTATO SALAD. Oh my goodness it’s life changing!

Went here for lunch today, okay food, very nice people. The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t spectacular for the price and the length of time I waited. I waited 20 minutes and paid over $ 8 for a standard turkey sandwich and some fries. Regular sliced white bread, turkey, cheese, mayo, lettuce and tomato — just as you would make at home. It was good, but I expected a larger sandwich, or loaf-​style white bread (like on a Subway or Quiznos sandwich), rather than a basic turkey sandwich I could put it in a Ziploc. The fries were good, hot and fresh, but the seasoning was very… messy, I suppose? It stuck all over my fingers and I had to rush to wash my hands before returning to a training class I was attending.

Excellent food !! Super sweet and attentive staff !! Got the super veggie egg white omelet with turkey added! So good and heathy and tons of veggie ! My family got the chicken Breast burger and Blt on sourdough and loved it !! Defintley would go back !

Wow! Two guys came out next day to hang our brand new TV. They were very professional and explained all my options. They were very knowledgeable and fast! Pricing was about a little less than ½ of what Best Buy was charging (if you can even get anyone on the line). I will use them again if I move or buy another TV. Great service!

I love this café! I work close by so it is my go to place for lunch. My usual is the Spinach Tortilla Buffalo Chicken Wrap. So yummy! I’ve tried their Cheese Steak and their burgers and they do not disappoint. I’m ready to try more of the items of their menu.
The customer service is always top notch from anyone working the register. I will definitely be coming back again and again! :D

I recently started working in the area and decided to give this place a try. I ordered the Caesar Salad Wrap with Fries. Just like the 3 stars say «A-​OK»
I’ve read other’s reviews so I might try something else next time. But would definitely go back.

This spot is located in an awesome little food court in the newly rebuilt downtown Anaheim area. K & A is clean and up to date with style. The workers are courteous and pretty cool. The prices… the prices are absolutely beautiful. I won’t go broke eating here what so ever. The food…5 stars… that says it all. Stop in here to enjoy a great homestyle meal that will put you in a great mood for the remainder of the day.

This place is so cute! Parking was a breeze but I’m sure that had everything to do with the time of day we stopped by. They serve breakfast all day so that was a cool little tidbit to know.
The bathrooms are in the parking garage, I tried the code a million times, I swear and it never worked, upon leaving I tried it again… nothing. As soon as I walked away a lady walked up, I told her it didn’t like anyone and she put the code in no problem and walked right in WTF! Well, I had to go still and its a 1 potty bathroom so I tried it on the guys door BAM! Let me in no problem, dude! whatever, I guess I’ll play man for a second and go potty. No shame!
I’ll have to look back over and see what I got as my meal, its been a while from coming here and writing this review, but I remember not having any complaints. Not to mention, the tots are a cute little touch and cooked perfectly.

This is a great spot to pick up a sandwich while in the downtown Anaheim area. This was my first experience with the eatery since I always miss them during their operational hours. They’re more of a breakfast and lunch spot and I usually only head into the Good Food Hall post yoga when I’m in search of dinner. It’s the same owners as Cervante’s Mexican Kitchen next door, so don’t be surprised if you see the workers running back and forth or wearing the same uniforms.
The restaurant has a variety of hot and cold sandwiches, wraps, salads and other handheld items making taking your order to-​go very easy. I went with the turkey club and wasn’t disappointed. This generous serving came with three layers of turkey, lettuce, tomato, bread and bacon. I was stacked so high that I had to contort my mouth to take a bite and eventually ended up just dissecting it all together so I could eat. My mouth doesn’t open that big.
I got it sans a side and it was in the $ 7 range. Not too bad for the amount of food that I received and I was definitely stuffed after the fact.
Because it’s in this restaurant hall, there is plenty of seating and they even have a fantastic patio area to enjoy your food outdoors. It’s also a good suggestion for dining as there are a few places within the confines of this space, so you can pretty much find something for everyone.
I’ll come back to try some of the other sandwich options — their salads looked pretty big as well! Rumor has it that they have a pretty great breakfast burrito, so maybe I’ll try to roll in early for a change!

Well, I guess that this was not my cup of tea. That is just my experience though. It also does not mean that I wouldn’t come back to give them another shot. They have a nice variety of options available. I just did not pick one that was a great one.
If I remember correctly, they have various options between sandwiches, salads, wraps, amongst other items. I did not look at the menu long. I saw a meatball sandwich and knew that it was what I wanted. This one also came with bell peppers and onion, which I never had on a meatball sub before. I got it without the onions as usual, but I left the peppers. It was probably around the size of a 6 inch sub, give or take.
The sandwiches were around $ 5.25 and for $ 2 more you get to add a side. (potato salad, fries, tots, etc.) I thought for sure with a $ 2 add on that it would have included a drink also. Wrong. I don’t remember the price after the drink but it was probably around $ 10 because for two sandwiches/​wraps, sides, and drinks it ran me at about $ 23! A bit steep…
They bring out the food to you, like the other businesses here. I bit into my sandwich and ended up disappointed. There was just no flavor there in my opinion, and the meat was blah. I was not a big fan of the potato salad I ordered either. My husband tried a bite of my sandwich and saw my point. I had wondered if it were me, as my appetite has not quite been there lately. I guess it wasn’t.
He had ordered a chicken wrap (I forgot which one) with a side of tots. He had the option of white, wheat, spinach, or tomato tortilla. He had missed hearing wheat and went with white. His tots were disappointing as well. No flavor. I had tried a few myself. He did however enjoy his wrap. I had a piece of the chicken and actually liked it myself.
Service was nice but it seemed pricey for what we got and I was disappointed. However I believe in second chances as long as the service is good enough and the food isn’t horrible. I will try them again someday, with another menu option of course. I will probably pass on adding a side as well unless I am really hungry.
