I did my nail with this place and the staff was not nice. I did pedi and mani, the regular $ 35 and I was ups old with a hand paraffin so total was $ 42. But when I asked how much, the girl who did my pedicure said its $ 52. I said how can it be $ 52 just with a regular set? She then said its $ 42. When I paid her with $ 60 cash, she only gave me $ 8 change, so I asked her, you didn’t not give me enough change.
This is the very reason that I am rating this place as a 3 stars for being sneaky with the price. Never go there again!

Very disappointing that when I made an appointment with Jenny, the manager failed to tell me Jenny moved to another salon (Pro Top Nails in Anaheim Hills). She lied to me on the phone and said Jenny was available. Very sneaky and unprofessional.

Celeste and Hannah did an amazing job on my Luxury Gel Mani/​Pedi, were gracious and charmingly chatty. The vibe of the shop was festive for the Holidays and everyone was cheerful and happy! Had a great experience and will be back!

I have been coming here for about 9 years. I have tried a few other places but keep coming back because they do an excellent job. I usually have Miley do my pedicure and recently have been having Daisy do my gel manicure. It’s clean, they have all the latest and greatest, and they are reasonable. If I could improve one thing it’s they are busy on weekends. I guess it’s because they do such a good job. The ladies are always sweet and accommodating. I will definitely continue coming.

This is so close to my home, that is very disappointing that I cannot use them at all. I have tried, with multiple technicians, on multiple occasions. The gel nail with tip just starts to fall off after a week. Another issue was that I had to constantly observe and ask to correct what was being done — unevenly cut nail tips, uneven filing, etc. Everyone was always nice and courteous, but the results were never good.

Miley is an excellent pedicure tech! I loved her pedicure and she didn’t and excellent job on my gel pedicure. This has been my first time getting gel it was beaitiful!

OK not the greatest.
Everything is about upselling… extra message? Design? Callus? Gel is better than regular! Etc.
Not to mention the ongoing talk in their Asian language. With the giggles in between. I mean it’s getting old.
Little too pricy. I only go there because it’s convenient I can just walk in… if I had other options I would skip this place.
White people get served bottle of water… others don’t hear about the water. Definitely huge favoritism to some class more than the other.
The owner and manager is nice. Greeting everyone friendly. I have a feeling she has to be there all the time to micro manage.

Made an appointment for 4 friends but when we got there, we didn’t get to sit next to each other. We weren’t even across from each other. We don’t see each other too often but thought if we made an appt we’d sit by each other. They kept saying 5 more mins. We couldn’t wait all day to sit by each other. I guess making an appt doesn’t matter here. Service-​wise: I got the «Please Me Pedi». The callus removal & massage were weak. The massage was suppose to be 10 mins, she didn’t spend that long on it. And I can’t even remember the exfoliation, so it must’ve not been that good. The gal spent more time on the flowers on my toenails than anything else & honestly, it’s not that cute.
I would never come back here again nor would I recommend this place. Don’t waste your time coming here. We expected more from a nail place that’s a chain.

I love happy nails!
Celeste does an AMAZING job with my gel manicures. The best I’ve ever had. We all know there’s nothing more annoying than paying for a pedicure and getting a really poor quality food rub… I’ve had Celeste and Miley both give me pedicures and they are both amazing! They are good at what they do and on top of that they are all very friendly, talkative and kind. You’re in good hands at this happy nails location :)

This place is close to home so out of convenience I have decided to go here again. I got a gel manicure and a pedi. The water for the pedi was cold initially not a pleasant experience. My gel manicure did not last even one week. Massage of my feet and hands was average at best more like poor. This place is also expensive and I would question some of the cleaning processes, they used to have everything in sterile pouches now they didn’t. Not going back here and I am not recommending this place to anyone.

If you are looking for a quick mani/​pedi with no concern as to the quality of the work than this is your place. If you are looking for a gel mani and pedicure to last no longer than a week than this is the place for you. I don’t know why I keep going back, off and on, but still the joke is on me! The people are friendly but the work is terrible. I just got a gel mani and regular pedicure less than a week ago and my toe nails are already chipped and my finger nails looked terrible when I left but I didn’t have time to deal with it then. Buyer beware.

Jeni is absolutely the best ! I love her !! She does everything !!! I’ve gone to many places which I wish I never did cus I always go back to Jeni the next day haha. She’s there all the time except Sunday’s. I would def have her do your mani pedi if it’s your first time checking out the place or if you always go there

I live close to this location, so it was a no brainer for me to try this location out. I had been coming here for the last three years. During this time I met Christine. She always did both my pedicure and my manicure. I only ever booked an appointment with her because I received a steep increase in price for a gel pedicure by a new technician. I was charged $ 25.00 extra for the gel pedicure when it is normally $ 15.00 extra. Make sure you have the quotes for cost upfront. Not all technicians charge the same. Unfortunately when I found out Christine left this location, I was truly disappointed. The five stars could not be given for Christine’s good work and I am left to rate this place based on the steep price on the gel pedicure given to me by another nail tech and uncomfortable massage chairs. I am on a quest to find a new nail salon…
I will have to say that if you must remain at this Happy Nails… Miley is super sweet and charges rates appropriately. She also is a great nail technician. She is a 5 star… mixed with the zero stars for the rip off gel pedicure charge by one of the techs… this place receives a generous 3 stars from me.
New update!!! Christine can now be found at Color me Nails next to Pavilions!!! Hooray!!!

I had a great experience my first time at this Happy Nails location. I am new to the Anaheim Hills area, and after moving and everything, I desperately needed a fill. I really love my nail lady where I’m from, but it’s unrealistic to drive 40 minutes every two weeks just for nails… so I was dreading trying to find someone else.
I think Happy Nails hit it out of the park. Christine (so sweet!) gave me theeeee cutest pedicure and amazing foot massage, and Andy was so patient and kind, he explained everything as we were going along. They also made sure I was completely comfortable… I got my nails and pedi done at the same time, in a massage chair.
Only reason why I didn’t give 5 stars was because I like my nails a little more square, and my tips seem to flare out a bit on the sides, but honestly, that’s an easy fix! I can go back in in two weeks and it’ll be fine, I know Andy will fix it.

I came in for a Gel Mani/​Regular Pedi. The salon is clean and neat. I was immediately greeted and didn’t have to wait at all, mind you, I went right at 12 (lunch rush).
I was pleasantly surprised when the girl doing my gel mani spoke English. I don’t really mind when they don’t, but it was just nice to be able to completely communicate. The design I had in mind was a little tough to accomplish, since I was having it done in gel, but after everything, they pulled through, and did an awesome job — both on my hands and feet; and it was done in an hour and 15 minutes!
I went up to the front, and that’s when I lost all hope in EVER coming back. :(I was charged $ 71 (sigh). That’s normally what I pay for 2 people getting a gel mani/​regular pedi.
I ended up tipping the girls and my total came to $ 81, because quite frankly they DID do an amazing job. BUT I would NEVER come back. Not for that price.
Sorry Happy Nails. I wasn’t happy with your rates.

Well, I moved so there goes the fabulous relationship I built with the crew at The Nail Bar in Irvine. On the hunt for a new nail shop, I asked my coworker for a recommendation for a good nail salon. When she said Happy Nails I pretty much wanted to barf. I’ve been to a few other Happy Nails locations and, let’s just say my friend and I now call it Nappy Nails because there’s nothing happy about it.
I actually had a really good experience here. The manicurist and the pedicurist were fabulous and made great conversation as I sat in the chair. Not that I understood what they were saying, but I appreciated the effort. Anyway, my mani and pedi were perfect and I was able to pay using my card. They didn’t give me any huff about using my card or paying with my card, but tipping with cash.
Of course they have the different packages. This must be a thing. Listen up all nail shop owners: I’m your worst upsell attempt. I just want a basic mani and pedi. I’d never pay for a massage at t a nail shop. Let’s save that for the spa.
I hope my next few visits are just as great as my first one.
