We are a test-​only drive thru smog and auto registration company that has been serving our customers for over 25 years. No appointment is needed. As a test-​only company you have no concern of being sold repair work or other vehicle services. In addition to smog inspections we are able to process your vehicle registration and issue stickers on site, complete California title transfers and issue replacement registration cards and license plates.

History

Established in 2015.

The company began with its first location in Los Angeles and has expanded to six locations serving Los Angeles and Orange County. The philosophy has always been to provide an impartial smog inspection for our customer. With our drive through concept the customer is in and out and able to continue with their day, no appointments or leaving your car at a shop. As an added convenience for our customers we are a licensed registration service able to provide vehicle registration and title transfer service.

Good service, and a fast smog check. Make sure you get in early though because its first come, first serve. You can’t park in their parking lot though before they open because they cone off their driveway, since they don’t want people driving their cars up to the smog test station until they’re ready. You can park across the street though without a problem, or in the parking lot next door to ACC.

My new go to smog check center! I went on Thursday around 4:45pm. I was done before 5pm. He was so quick, I thought I did not pass. Friendly people, clean waiting room and a 20% Unilocal discount! I was there 2 years ago when my mom needed the car she was giving to me, tested. There were quite a few people there at the time but it still went quickly. When it came time this year, I could not remember the name so did a Google search and voila! There it was! Love this place!

Fastest smog check ever! There was no wait today, so my car passed the smog inspection in less than 10 minutes. Checked in on Unilocal and received 20% off. Cost $ 48.20 out the door! What else can you ask for?

I waited pretty long to get my smog check done because I dreaded going to car places and have them hassling me about getting this and that done (overpricing too) but this place was great. I was at school (CSUF) and decided I should finally get it over with and I found this place about a mile away on Unilocal.They had good reviews so I decided I’d try it myself and just like many other Unilocalers was in and out in about 10 minutes, if that. I liked that they concentrated on the one thing you went there to get and didn’t try to trick you into paying more for something you didn’t want. Also the inside of the location is very clean and professional looking. I used the discount from Unilocal,paid 48.20 total and was on my way.

Wow… very quick and pleasant experience. I read Bob T’s review and headed over there. Great experience.
Pull up, checked in on Unilocal,got a check in discount of $ 10, clerk came to my window, i went inside for about 10 mins. Paid $ 48 and drove home.
I didn’t see any free sodas anywhere but who really cares when its not hot outside.
I absolutely love that there is no one telling me all kinds of BS about things that need to be replaced or repaired on my car.
And you can watch them do the smog right in front of you, thats a plus.
No need to dread getting a smog anymore.

Had a smog check done here on a Saturday last month. Smack dab on the corner of Orangethorpe & State College. It’s a convenient location. They seem to get a lot of business.
A few cars were being serviced before us. The billing associate was really welcoming and courteous. Checked in on Unilocal to receive the 20% discount which equalled $ 10. off of a $ 59.95 Smog Test Fee + the $ 8.25 Certificate of Compliance Fee.
The smog check techs were pretty fast yet thorough. In total, we probably waited about 15 minutes to complete the process. The inside lobby area was clean and the workers here were very focused considering it was a weekend morning. A perfect example of professionalism.

I think I spent literally less than 10 minutes here on a Saturday afternoon. There were free coffee and sodas while I waited. The cashier and mechanics were polite, I was able to get my smog check and my registration renewed (it was due tomorrow!!) plus, they gave me the 20% discount for checking in on Unilocal and a $ 5 discount on the registration fee for using a debit card. Overall, it was a good experience.

Went to 2 other smog stations with my diesel truck only to be told they don’t smog diesel! What?
Auto Check Smog is super convenient and had no issue with my diesel. On top of this they gave a 20% discount for checking in on Unilocal.$ 48.20 for smog when other places had $ 70 listed.

Auto Chek Smog Center is freaking full of awesomeness!!! In the past, I’ve gone to random smog check places and then to AAA to get my renewal sticker. But after my first experience at ACSC, I don’t think I’ll be going to AAA for my renewals anymore! For an additional price of $ 19.95, they will process your license renewal right then and there! It may seem a bit much, but when you check into Unilocal,you get a $ 10 discount. Then, if you pay via debit or cash, there’s an additional $ 5 discount. The way I figure, it’s $ 5.95 to get my renewal, not have to drive to the DMV nor AAA and wait in line. For me, it’s definitely worth it! The service was quick and I definitely recommend their services to anyone!

Auto Chek Smog Center on State College and Orangethorpe is first rate! They not only are reasonably priced and have great service but they go above and beyond.
1. Offer free soda pop for customers.
2. Today, before I paid, the guy told me having a chef engine light on is a automatic fail. Instead of failing after paying, I now know to go back to the dealer and tell them finish their warranty work before I even bother paying.

I love Unilocal discounts! It’s a nice way for the merchant to say thanks for checking in. Today the Unilocal check in discount was 20% off for a smog check. Hey if you have to take your ride to The Man, why not get a discount? And they offer free Shasta cola inside. Wow they still make that stuff?
The smog check was fast and the place is clean. And the ladies are nice. That’s it that’s all.

They aren’t the cheapest place you can get a smog check, but I don’t mind paying a little extra to ensure I am not at a sketchy shop.
Check in on your cellphone to get 20% off, or sweep a pennysaver for a coupon from a differnt place, they will match coupons as well. I was in and out in 20 minutes. I definitely recommend this place!
