This place has very affordable prices. The soldering on my catalyc converter came undone and all I need was for it to be resoldered. I had already inspected the car myself.
I went in there and in 10 minutes, the soldering was done for a very reasonable price. They didn’t try to hassle me for more labor or parts. They gave me exactly what I needed.

I first came here in 2012 to have them fix the cat/​muffler on my BMW 3 series since it failed smog. They did it on a Saturday I dropped it off and it was ready for pick up in a few hours. It sounded great after and passed the smog test. Recently I came here because I needed my pickup repaired for a bad ball joint. I think it took about a week and I just picked up my vehicle last weekend. It runs great. Carlos the head mechanic told me about some other things I should fix so I will return soon! Friendly and a good place I recommend highly!

I read the one start negative review mentioning the brake calipers. However, all the other were very positive 5-​star reviews. I felt welding a cracked muffler bracket repair would not be a problem.
They raised the car was up and the repair was done quickly. I did not time it but it was 10 or 15 minutes at the most. I asked what I owed and the boss said: «Nothing at all.» I replied said I’d like to pay at least something. Without hesitation, he pointed to the worker who did the repair!, saying I could pay him directly. So I paid him a tip for his time. On advice from some friends, I used as a guide an estimated $ 60 per hour for a mechanic’s time.
This was totally expected and pleasant experience, that is not being billed for a quick relatively small repair
This section of Anaheim has a lot of nice shops with both English and Spanish signs. Don’t be deterred by the presence of the Spanish signs because they communicate well in English too.

There muffler shop not mechanics! They used grease on bolts that hold caliper together! Wife nearly crashed, caliper locked up on her while she was driving. Ruined my rim, and had to buy new bolt since it completely fell off! He agreed to make repairs the following day so I took the day off and when I showed up to his shop, he changed his mind! Will never take my vehicles there again!

This is not the fanciest car shop in town, but they fixed my sagging muffler for $ 20 and I found them to be honest, friendly, and pretty quick (in and out in under 30 minutes).

This place is great very honest. My husband and I took our Cadillac CTS to have the catalytic converter replaced they ordered it with out us even putting a down payment. Then we dropped it off thinking we would have to pay $ 200. Well we received a call that we can pick the car up. They told my husband that they did not have to replace it that it took a few hour’s to locate were it was loose and they fixed it and only charged us $ 40. Thank God for Honest people. We will continue to tell our friends and family about this place. I have already told a few that will be going.

Took my car there for an exhause noise. At first we thought it was the catalytic converter and when they called me to come back they said that it was fine and just needed a small weld and didn’t charge me. I gave them $ 20 anyways just for being honest and will definitely go back.

I took my 05 Chevy Silverado truck to them about 5 years ago after my muffler and tip got stolen off of it thinking it was going to cost an arm and leg to get repaired. They hooked me up with a new one for about half as much as some of the other muffler places in the area. They were friendly and did the work while I waited.
Now I have a new toyota tundra and they just put exhaust and a cold air intake on it. It sounds better, drives better and gets more miles per gallon than before. They did the work within a couple hours. The price they gave me was about 25% less than some of the other places I checked at and they did it in half the time. Carlos, the owner, really knows his stuff. I would recommend them to anyone.

My muffler started going out.
On my way to work on this one street (about 0530), i had to slow down to negotiate an intersection that had a large ‘dip’ on each end.
As i started picking up speed, it so happened i would pass by this one car near where i would normally shift into third — and as i pushed in the clutch — this ROAR would come outta the back and set off this guys’ car alarm (think maybe it was set a LITTLE too sensitive).
After about a month of this, he (no-​doubt suggested by his neighbors), started parking somewhere else.
After getting the hint, a coworker mentioned going to Pete @ Anchor Muffler. He mentioned how reasonable they were and how quick he was able to get HIS car fixed.
So i finally went.
Asked for Pete. He’s this older guy. he looks @ the car, says it’ll be about 20 minutes and about $ 65.
We got to talking… next thing i knew, the car was off the lift and ready.
I FULLY recommend Pete @ Anchor Muffler when you need a replacement muffler.
