Anaheim Camelot Inn & Suites

We arrived around midnight and so had to be checked in through an outdoor service window. The process was quick: check id, scan credit card, sign an agreement. The valet was friendly and pointed out two spots where I could self park the car. The outside of the inn (minus the front face) was not very attractive. The long dark hallways and cheap paint make it feel like a depressing low end motel. Our room was on the 5^th floor right above the pool. The pool area was by far nothing to brag about. It has a tiny 3.5ft pool and an extra tiny 2ft Jacuzzi. The room itself was very clean and well prepared. However on entering it was obvious that the queen beds as listed on the website were just twin sized. The beds were not as much a disappointment as the wifi service. On the hotel key card holder, there is a little sticker on the left side with the password for the wifi. The wifi here simply did not exist. It didn’t mean that there was low signal; there was not even a username that indicated that it would be from the hotel. Luckily there was an open wifi spot from another hotel next door that was opened and free for guests. We were able to use it with no problems at least until the morning when connection was too poor to use. Overall this inn would have been 5 stars due to the cleanliness of the rooms and the 5 min walk to Disney Parks but I feel a bit deceived; not as much by the bed sizes but from the non existent wifi. We want to stay here again but with this first experience, we might want to explore the other lodges next door.

This is a great hotel if you’re going to Disneyland. The location is great, right across he street from the entrance to Disney. We came in about 4pm on a Tuesday and the weather was perfect for my daughter to swim in the pool. You can see the fireworks show really well from the pool. We even heard some of the music. We stayed in the King suite which was perfect for our group of 5 adults and 2 children. The room was super clean and modern. New paint and current décor. Whenever we asked for something (i.e. Extra towels or even extra garbage bags) the hotel staff brought them up to our room within 5 mins. Our room had 2 mini refrigerators, perfect for all our park snacks. At checkout we asked for our cars to be ready at 10am (you pay for valet parking) and they were first in line, on time. The only downside was the kids running down the hallway at 7am but the hotel can’t help that. Parents tell your kids not to scream cause you know the hotel is full of families with little kids. Thankfully my girls were so tired from all the fun they knocked out and slept through everything. There is a McDonald’s, Panera Bread, and Mimi’s Café right next door. You can even rent scooters from the hotel. Bottom line, we will be staying here again next time we come to Disneyland!

You get a better room than you think you’d think for this type of place. Hotel staff were super duper nice to us. Hotel is close to everything. Food very close: Panera, McD’s, Pizza Press, etc. What we didn’t expect was that the fireworks are VERY visible from the Fifth floor!
Beds are super crispy white and very comfy. We had a Suite room for our large family and it was very roomy. One bathroom, three beds and a pullout couch. Tiny kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker and two mini fridges.
To be expected: Place needs a major update. Our circa– 1980’s countertop was sloping down and pulling away from the wall. The carpet has seen better days. The entire place is a bit shabby. It’s not The Hilton.
My final wrap-​up. I totally recommend this place for anyone going to the park 8am-​12am and not hanging out at the hotel. The bed makes the entire experience worth it. I’ve never slept so soundly. We didn’t hear a peep from the neighboring rooms. We’d absolutely stay here again.
Cheap, clean, close to park.

We stayed for 3 sleepless nights. The walls are paper-​thin so we heard absolutely everything and we were up fairly late, the noise all around from next door, above our heads, didn’t stop until after 2:00am. Look, we know that we are across from Disneyland and people will be up late, but the walls offer no buffer and might as well not be there at all. There should be a reasonable expectation of at least some quiet at night and there wasn’t. We called on the first night because of the thumping above us and they said they’d take care of it but it never stopped. We switched rooms and the people across were obnoxiously loud into the wee hours. No rest, maybe 2 – 3 hours of sleep off and on as I was woken up. It isn’t the hotel’s fault that people make noise, but the design of the hotel, how much noise can be heard from simple conversations to people using their electric shavers… I shouldn’t be able to hear that let alone the louder noises like hair dryers and when a sink is being used several rooms away.
2 Stars because they gave us another room… they tried I guess.

I have stayed at this hotel twice and have enjoyed both of my stays. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It’s also only a few minutes walk from Disneyland. I will definitely be returning to this hotel next time :)

Clean, convenient, comfortable. Right next door to McD’s. Perfect place for families

Easy reservations online. Booked our room in April for New Years holiday break and got an awesome rate. Upon arrival at 10:20 am our room was available and ready! Yay for being able to change from the drive then to go into the parks. A short walk to the main gate so important and this hotel allows just that! Our room clean and comfortable, good customer service at the desk and good info regarding parking. All were friendly and helpful. Our room had a small refrigerator and microwave which were useful as we brought food to eat for breakfast and had leftovers from a dinner. Although no breakfast McDonalds IHOP and Denny’s nearby. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay at Disneyland we will be back!

This is my first time staying at Camelot Inn; it’s great, rooms are nice, comfy beds, bathroom is nice, although there is no continental breakfast, McDonald is right next door, was and dryer facilities right downstairs, I saw the pool but it was 46′ so looking was enough for me.
We had a awesome view of the Firework show right outside our door, that’s a plus!

Great place to stay right across the street from Disneyland. Nice and clean, comfortable beds, and lots of super nice pillows! Stayed in the 2 room suite and it was fantastic. .will absolutely stay there again! FYI, I am not easy to impress.

My kids and I ran at Disneyland this past weekend and since this place was so close to the parks, I decided to book in April (knowing how quickly rooms get booked due to these races). We check in after fighting traffic for 2 hours only to find out that the room I booked in APRIL wasn’t the one we received. Instead of a mini king suite, we got 2 queens. I immediately called the front and was informed there weren’t any mini king suites. The person at the front desk was extremely rude and confrontational. I told her that we book MONTHS in advanced and all of a sudden there aren’t any mini king suites? C’mon now. So instead of crediting the difference, they told me I’d get free parking. I highly doubt 2 queens were the same price as a mini king.
Parking is absolutely horrendous. More valet spots than regular parking. Scam.
The pool was indeed small but not as small as the spa. My kids enjoyed it though.
Basically this will be the last time we stay here. I’d rather pay the same price for better service and amenities even if it’s just down Harbor Blvd.

We’ve stayed here MANY times (averaging 3 – 4 times a year) and have always had a great experience… until today!
My friends and I slip a suite. When we checked in we informed them we had 2 cars and that we wanted to split the price directly in half. She agrees and took care of it. I paid part of my half with cash. She took my cash, handed me change and gave me my key. I went on with my busy Disney weekend. As we got ready to check out, the front desk informed us we had a balance. Apparently, the girl who checked us in pocketed the cash or something! I would think their cash drawer would be either grossly over or under which would raise a red flag! I tried to talk to the staff we were checking out with and they kept telling me «I don’t think you paid cash.» I told them to pull the security cameras and their excuse for why they couldn’t do that is because it’s a holiday! They said I could put it on a card and they would refund it «if they found it.» Yeah, not expecting to see that money again– the thieving liars! They just kept telling me «I assure you our staff is very honest.» So, I guess I’m a delusional liar! The staff was very unhelpful and uncooperative in trying to rectify a problem THEIR STAFF created! I plan to call everyday for the next week to see if they checked my camera and plan to refund my money.
I guess stay here if you like having your money stolen and having it implied that you are dishonest! Or at the very least… BE SURE THEY GIVE YOU RECIEPTS!!! Or, I guess, don’t pay cash! I will remove or edit this post, if possible, if they fix the problem or become more helpful and understand.
*** UPDATE: I called back after calming down a bit. I was ready to contact Anaheim PD so I wanted names of manager and desk clerk at time of check in and check out. I spoke with Crystal (the girl who checked us in) and she took full responsibility for her mistake of not posting the cash to our reservation and apologized for the whole situation. They also refunded the money back to my credit card. This whole problem really upset me because we LOVE this hotel! The location is awesome and the rooms are good sized and clean. Our kids think the rooftop pool is cool and like that it’s only 3.5ft deep. We also love watching fireworks in our jammies. Thank you Crystal for being helpful and acknowledging the mistake! (I also updated my star rating from a 1 to 3. I would be a 4 if the checkout staff had been more helpful and stopped telling me «I don’t think you gave us cash.»)

The day staff was quite friendly and helpful, letting us park there although our room wasn’t ready. The Disneyland park entrance is across the street, which is convenient.
Unfortunately, the night guy was horrible. We came in pretty late, and had to wait a few minutes for him to answer the service bell. Then he was rude, short, and as unhelpful as possible.
There is nothing special about the room, but nothing was wrong either. I guess they figure being close to the park is amenity enough that nothing else is needed.

The hotel location itself is what you are really paying for. The room was ok. bed was horribly uncomfortable and the sofa pull out was pretty gross. The bathroom was a nice size, shower had poor water preassure. Again, if you arent planning on being in the hotel very much and are just looking for a decent price and location across from the park then this hotel is not bad.

Very clean… very affordable… very friendly. I will stay here again… My grand children are 4,5, and 2… so I’ll be at Disneyland quite a bit in the years to come. This is my go to hotel… I’m really cheap when it comes to spending my money. By CHEAP, I mean I get the MOST bang for my buck! This hotel was the BEST value for my money… I mean did ya come for the hotel, or did ya come for Disneyland?!

Was excited to stay here for the convenience of the location. Even after reading positive and negative reviews I was optimistic!
Pros:
–CONVENIENCE! Traveling with a 2 year old is already thought, having a hotel directly across the street makes it 10x better.
–lots of food choices within walking distance.
–service desk was ok, they were attentive, quick, and allowed us to check in early.
–room: was decent. Checked for bed bugs, and nothing that I could see.
–the room provided a microwave and refrigerator.
–water runs great. Most hotels that I’ve stayed at drys out my skin.
–maintenance worker was fast and fixed our needs (AC wasn’t working)
–mini gift shop
Cons:
–very outdated. A facelift to this place would be awesome! Updating carpet, upholstery needs some work.
–minor details in the room weren’t clean, such as the bed skirts– I could see a few stains on them still.
–there was sticky residue on the table.
–on the way up to the room, there was a foul odor near the elevator, and also a cigarette smell lingering around the rooms which eventually had our room smelling like smoke.
–walls are very thin, can hear our surroundings pretty clearly.
Overall, we had a great experience. I would consider staying here again!

BED BUGS IN ROOM #202!!!
My mother took my daughter and neice last week and my daughter came home with a massive amount of bites on her body! They were confirmed to be BED BUGS! I/​we will not be staying here ever again! COMPLETELY DISGUSTING!!!

Let me start off by saying that I spent months (literally) planning the perfect Disney vacation for my siblings’ first Disney vacation! I can confidently say that I read reviews (good and bad), routinely checked prices (also good and BAD), took into consideration distance from the park, amenities, surrounding vendors, and PRICE for all the hotels immediately surrounding DL. We finally booked with Anaheim Camelot Inn & Suits and were extremely satisfied.
Basically, you have to know that you aren’t booking a Sheraton or a Hilton or a Disney Resort hotel. If you are looking for super modern/​clean/​renovated rooms with disney characters walking about, go there! My family of 7 ended up on the 3^rd (I think) floor on the side of the building that faces Disneyland. We had the 2 bedroom suite that comfortably slept 7 (2 queens, 1 king, 1 pull out couch), 1 bathroom, mini kitchen.
Every hotel I go to, I do thorough bed bug checks and none were found! (I also check the bed bug registry beforehand for any recent reporting.) Everything was clean upon arrival and perfect for sleeping (which is basically all you do in a hotel room on vacation right?!) One night we picked up pizza from the pizzeria next door (really good!) and settled on the table to eat. To our surprise, we could see the Halloween fireworks going off right across the street at DL. I couldn’t believe the view. We opened the windows and could see the fireworks clearly, even better than the people walking on the sidewalk because our window had views above the treetops. If the room wasn’t worth it before then, it definitely was after seeing that.
If I haven’t convinced you yet, know that the park is a 5 minute walk across the street, there’s a McDonalds next door, there’s a mini mart within the hotel property for water/​snacks/​minimal disney stuff, and our trip went perfectly!

If you are travelling to Disney Land (like 95% of visitors to Anaheim) then this is the perfect place to be. Right across from Disney Land park and WAY cheaper than staying at the Disneyland Hotels.
After some of the horror stories I’ve heard about neighboring hotels, I would say that we made a GREAT choice with Camelot Inn & Suites. Everything was clean and the maids came every day.
They also offered a small pool and jacuzzi. In addition, they are located next to a McDonald’s and near a great pizza place (Pizza Press). If you need a clean place to sleep for cheap, this is it.
*Tip: request a room near the front of the hotel. Even if you have no problems walking. Our room was at the back and it was a hike, especially after being in the parks all day

Family vacation and we decided to stay here. This place is the perfect location to stay if you are going to Disneyland. Literally right across the street from both parks. They even offer parking for disneyland guests.
The room we had was a good size. We had 6 in our party so we upgraded to a 2 bedroom suite. One king size bed and a fold out couch in one room and 2 queen size beds in the other room. Fit us all. The room came with 2 mini fridges and a small kitchen area.
The maid service was great. They came in everyday to clean the room and left us new towels.
Everyone from the maid to the GSA were friendly and all smiles. I would recommend this place to my friends and family.

Original stayed here for two nights back in February of 2014. Had a couple of friends visiting from over seas and one of our destination targets was Disneyland. Originally was going to stay at a near by Hyatt Regency but due to room availability decided to get a 3-​bed room suite at the Camelot. I’m glad I did, the hotel’s proximity to the theme park made it SUPER convenient to visit the park and come back for a break. Check-​in was easy and painless, front desk clerk was super nice and helpful with our questions regarding the park. Rooms were nice and clean with a spectacular view of the fireworks. Overall just a great experience and will definitely be back this February for the same thing!
I guess my only complaint is the look of the hotel, not a huge fan of the medieval theme it’s got but I may be a minority here.
