Ted was very helpful! Came from out of town and my clutch went out. On a Friday, gave them a call and they had me set by Monday. Best customer service out there and fast service. Definitely recommend for all your automotive needs. Very happy with how everything played out.

Okey I took my 2000 Infiniti I30 here Once again Ted was awesome I had a Lower A arm that I Bought from Amazon for 60.00 Normal price $ 265.00 I paid $ 100.00 to have an install and once again my car was drivable I really appreciate Ted he is Patient and Professional and got the Job done right the first time I will be back for sure.

I brought my Nissan Altima here last week and had THE BEST experience ever. Ted helped me out every step of the way and made me feel very safe leaving my vehicle with him. My car had to get towed to this location due to it driving in reverse while in the drive gear. I immediately thought it was a transmission problem and expected the worse. Ted informed me that it was a minor error and fixed it at a very low cost than expected. I highly recommend this aamco location for any of your car needs. They are HONEST, which is hard to find in a car shop these days! I’ll definitely be coming back here!!!

I went here to get my trouble codes read and had some of the most amazing customer service I have ever had from a car shop! The guy behind the counter, Ted was soooo helpful. He answered all my questions and didn’t talk to me like I didn’t know anything. I live in Garden Grove and it was totally worth the little bit of a drive. I would recommend this place to all my friends who need any service on their car. Ask for Ted if you want the best service in town!

I have been taking my car here for years they do all my oil changes, brake services, tune ups basically anything that my car needs. Richard is amazing! Last time my fan belt (or something like that) broke on my way home from Arizona (and 2 weeks before my wedding) he went out of his way and looked everywhere for the part for me. I have a Saturn so its not always easy to find parts anymore. He is a life saver! Highly recommend this place. Will not take my car anywhere else

The guys that work here are great and very helpful. I have used their shop a number of times and will continue to take my cars here as they are always very patient and do a nice job explaining. They also provide me with options and I don’t feel pressured. The waiting room is also very clean.

WORST SERVICE I’VE EVER HAD! wouldn’t give me a quote on a part… wanted me to come in… so I did. place was dirty, unorganized and shady. Still have no idea on the price of a transmission for my car and that was what I really wanted. No I will not give you all of my information for a quote even after I drove 20 minutes to come in. Obviously I won’t be going back.

It all started with an emergency call from my wife. Her car was having serious problems with turning and she was panicking. She went to AAMCO down the street since that was the closest place she could make it to. They were a little busy due to her arriving at the lunch hour so she had to wait for a bit for her car to get looked at, but the estimate was free, so no complaints about that.
Over the phone they gave me an estimate, which based on my experience with car repairs was a lot less then I expected. They had the replacement parts in very little time and they fixed the car while my wife and I grabbed some In-​N-​Out for lunch.
All in all, this is among the best experiences I’ve had with any auto shop. I’m going back to have them fix my A/​C.
If you have a problem and you want it fixed by people that won’t waste your time or money, just stop here.

Okay I had a rocky start with Amco at first I was going to get on here totally flame this location but after getting my truck back very satisfied with the way it’s running Jeff seems to be a decent guy overall even though I wasn’t too sure about him at first and thought he was a egotistical prick is actually a very knowledgeable man and knows what he’s talking about

Dishonest. Would give 0 stars if I could. I brought in my 2003 Ford Taurus with a check engine light for the codes P0171 and P0174. Just a «system runs too lean» code. The manager told me that my head gasket was blown and it would be about a 3000 dollar job. I took the car back because 1) I needed it for work and 2) I was going to look for a cheaper place just to replace a head gasket (I’m only a college student). I took it to a place in Laguna Hills, and they told me that all that was wrong was a broken PCV line (which makes sense for the codes I got) and that repair is only about 150 bucks! Aamco tried to screw me on a repair I don’t need and now I know that the only thing they’re good for is reading the code for free, but never get your diagnostic or repairs here. They’ll diagnose something absurd, and try to screw you. Stay away!

I took my car here and said the clutch needed to be replaced to the tune of 700.00 dollars four months later the car is worse. The worst part is they take you for a fool. I changed the spark plugs myself and the car runs perfectly. I’m trying to get some compensation. Do not take your car there unless you want to be ripped off. A rating of negative 5 stars. The B.A.R. (Bureau of Automotive Repair) needs to check them out.

I brought my car here with AAMCO on the 16th of December, 2014 for transmission check up. I was explained of the procedure, time and possible expenditure at the front desk. Once diagnostic was complete indicating rebuild, a date and time was prescribed on which I was to be deliver my vehicle. The estimate was given and authorization received from me. The vehicle was delivered on date and time agreed.
Added on 01/​09/​2015: The only thing of concern to me was the fact that once the test drive technician okay for delivery, on testing, the car steering mechanism sounded strange on slow turnings. In addition there was noise coming out of muffler/​exhaust. The matter was explained to the front desk who tested the vehicle with me and immediately mediated to resolve the issues with the help of technicians.

I had 2 issues with my car and took my car into AAMCO thinking, yes its expensive but yes they will do a good job on my car.
Come to find out that they fixed the problem on my drive column but didn’t screw anything back into where it belonged. So I have it all hanging there and getting in the way of me pushing the gas and break pedals.
Then I took it back after I got into a car accident. My insurance had to take care of it but they tried charging me an extra $ 100.00 storage fee knowing this was an insurance matter. Jeff got rude and tried to embarrass me in front of the other customers. So I promised I would write something on Unilocal to help everyone else who thinks about taking there car into AAMCO on Brookhurst and Ball Road.

I recommended Aamco to my boyfriend when his car developed a problem. His keys started to always get jammed in the ignition and we wanted to know what the problem was. Since this place was closer than the one in Orange which I went to, we went here and customer service was just as great as the Orange location.
We left his car there on Tuesday and got it back Thursday morning. This place has such friendly and great customer service, you always know they aren’t try to scam you with any gimmicks or tricks. My boyfriend definitely loved the result and the problem regarding his ignition has been working fine ever since. The price was great and the time spent fixing his car was short. I definitely recommend this place! :)
