Specialties

The Reading Foundation tutors specialize in the Orton-​Gillingham Method. We provide one-​on-​one tutoring, in a variety of subjects, especially in literacy and reading skills. We offer several brain-​based, multisensory programs such as the Multisensory Teaching Approach (OG) and Lindamood-​Bell. Several of our tutors are NH certified teachers and certified in a variety of programs. We also provide educational assessments.

Business Owner

Fellow of the Academy of Orton-​Gillingham Practioners and Educators:

Elaine has worked as a specialist, consultant, and supervisor in the area of reading for over forty years. She is the author of Building Elementary Classroom Tests for RTI, as well as numerous research-​based educational articles, contributor to language texts, and evaluation tools. Elaine has also been a noted speaker at educational conferences for over thirty-​five years. Also a senior lecturer for Rivier University, Elaine brings a wealth of professional knowledge to the Foundation.
