History

Established in 2008.

I have been a licensed massage therapist for over 6 years now and have worked in a variety of settings including Hospital, Chiropractic, Spa, and Private Office. Opening my own practice has always been a dream of mine, and I’m thrilled to now be living out that dream.

I officially opened my new practice in August of ’08 in Amherst NH after spending 3 years with Amherst Therapeutic Massage. Doing so has allowed me greater freedom to offer more of what I do best and to continue growing as a bodywork practitioner.

A graduate of the Muscular Therapy Institute (MTI) in Cambridge, MA, Carl completed an intensive 900 hour program which focused on the Benjamin System of bodywork. The Benjamin System of Muscular Therapy differs from Massage Therapy because of it’s unique combination of treatment, exercise and education which is designed to reduce chronic muscle tension and to promote physical health. Prior to his training at MTI, Carl attended the Boston Shiatsu School in Cambridge, MA where he studied Japanese Therapeutic Bodywork, including Shiatsu and Sotai. Carl’s ability to meld different styles and techniques is what distinguishes him from other bodyworkers. With a background in healthcare services for terminally ill patients, Carl approaches each therapeutic massage individually with care, compassion and awareness of the clients needs.
