All good here. I would recommend to anyone. Food portions are reasonable to the price. Very kid friendly menu as well.

For a place that specializes in pancakes, these were about the smallest ones I’ve ever seen. No more than about 4 – 5 inches wide and paper thin. I was stilled hungry by by the time I finished them. I asked that they be cooked on the lighter side. What did I get, a light pancake on top &2 dark, overdone ones tucked underneath. Really, you’ve got to be kidding me. People, if you want the best pancakes in town, done right every time & about as satisfying as can be drive past IHOP& go straight to Sophia’s!

After arriving shorty afternoon on a Sunday, the reception from our waitress Caroline, was less than welcome. After many trip there, this was our last time going. Our bacon was almost raw. The eggs had black bits in them. The sausages were burnt on one side. We have not retuned since.

Got seated quickly, even with wheelchair. Good variety from the regular menu, didn’t want any of the pumpkin specials. Stuffed french toast with strawberries was very good. Cook made a small error on one order that waitress corrected immediately. Good, substantial breakfast at a reasonable price.

I have tried a couple of IHOPS but this one is the best. The management is good here. I love the way they change their brreakfast menus. This month is crepes and there is a variety and each one is delicious. It can come with eggs and bacon or something else. The waitress I had today was fantastic. She was fast and courteous. The food always looks bigger in the ads, but it is quite tasty. The pancakes are good, the food is plenty and the price isn’t bad.

Again, this is a Sunday stop because it’s a breakfast place and near the church I attend. The hubs and I used to love this IHOP because it was actually the only good IHOP we’ve ever been to in the entire country. However, the quality has seemed to slip, the servers aren’t as amazing as they used to be(entirely new crew from when we came years ago – can’t complain; kids have to move on), and the wait time is often atrocious. The hubby and I went here last Sunday after church because they do make better pancakes than Denny’s. IHOP’s coffee is terrible, so we just got water and orange juice. Our server took our order and got our food out in good time. The hash browns were weird… I mean, it was like the potatoes were too fresh and the starch didn’t soak out of them enough or something. They were more stringy than soft. The eggs were cooked over medium, just like I like them, but the yolks were such a soft yellow it almost made me sick to look at it(fresh eggs, especially from the farm, are often a deep orange color. The lighter yellow, the less organic and fresh they are). They tasted fine though. The current special is a Summer pancake deal and I had the berry cobbler pancakes, topped with peaches, blackberries, a granola crumble and vanilla ice cream. The peaches and berries were canned which I really don’t care for, and I don’t like walnuts which are in the granola, but whatever, it was all tasty anyways. I mean, it’s fine. This IHOP is fine. You won’t get bad food here, but you won’t get quality food you could find in the city for the same price. You definitely won’t get good coffee here. IHOP is no longer a favorite of mine, but it’s alright.

Just how does a «Pancake House» get an order for plain olé pancakes, wrong? My wife finished her eggs long before my plain pancakes came to the table. They seemed to insist on adding sugary toppings when I clearly stated I only wanted fresh bananas. TONS of other breakfast places in town.

I love going here for brunch. The pancakes are always fluffy here and you always have plenty of options. Service has been consistent for me and if you’re a breakfast person, this is a good place to go. The wait is rarely long– I usually get seated quickly. Servers are nice, but it can be hard to grab their attention when you need something. Free refills on coffee and other beverages on the menus are always a nice perk. Try the splashers! The splashers are fruity mixed carbonated drinks(I don’t want to call them soda because they’re better than that). iHop offers them in two flavors. Give them a try if you’re up for something carbonated and sugary.

This is definitely not the place to go for breakfast. If you want to experience what IHoP is for the first time, then by all means, try it out. But if you think you’re going to get a decent meal out of it, I would try a different place to eat breakfast. My most recent experience involved meeting a friend for breakfast and being placed at a booth. The booth was clean, everything was fine and great in that moment. However, it took a good 5 – 10 minutes for someone to come around and start serving us. Meanwhile, the tables around us were being served, but we weren’t even looked at, let alone properly addressed. The person that ended up taking care of us was nice and great… but she was the hostess that originally seated us. Really? The hostess has to bring us coffee, order our meals for us, and serve them to us? Props to her, I would definitely commend her for her versatility, but that’s just poor communication among the staff. She’s being paid to be the hostess, not our waitress. Anyway, end rant on that for a moment. When the hostess/waitress/etc came over with our coffee, we also ordered. Very shortly after we ordered, our food was out. We waited longer for someone to wait on us than we did for our food to come out. Luckily, the darling hostess was so charming about it or else this review would have surely been a 1 star review. The fact that our food was out so quickly would normally feel like a good thing, but it became even more alarming for me. Was our food previously cooked and then just heated up? If not, how thoroughly cooked was it? I ordered the stacks of original pancakes. Nothing special there, pretty average meal. My friend ordered an omelette, which he enjoyed. Neither of us finished our meals. I’m not trusting of this breakfast place anymore. I don’t think I’ll be coming back in the future.

The service and food here are inconsistent. How difficult is it to prepare two eggs, two pieces of bacon and two pancakes? Apparently, it’s awfully difficult to get that right(on a relatively slow lunch day). It’s not worth the aggravation to sit and wait for replacement dishes.

This was the choice for the morning breakfast/brunch stop while going back home. I tried there new ice coffee and have to say it was good and it has free refills. The food was as expected and fresh :)

Horrible! So what do you think the chances are of taking a bite of a pancake and having a piece of a ceramic dish cooked into it are? Not to great, correct? OK, so it was a crazy fluke that was a one time deal, right? NOOO! Not even two months later, the friend I was with when this happened, was at the same iHop on Maple Rd. and the exact same thing happened to her son in law. A piece of a dish was cooked into the pancake batter. If this was swallowed it could have caused major problems! The manager paid for breakfast and was apologetic… DISGUSTING! There is no excuse whatsoever for this happening once, let alone twice! The apathy about the two situations from the restaurant manager was disgusting as well as the lack of response form the Franchise owner. I would not take my dog to this restaurant!

Good place to go for a quick breakfast. I felt a bit rushed after eating. Like they expected us to eat in 15 minutes and go. …and it wasn’t even crowded. The food was ok. The pancakes was good. I’d recommend it just ignore the rush rush look or feeling you get

Our waitress was super friendly and provided fast and efficient service. Everyone is saying portion sizes should be bigger but I honestly thought the French toast’s and pancakes were huge. I wish they had more healthier options to choose from though. Overall, a nice place to eat once every 6 months or so. Or else it could easily add up to your waistline.

Yes, it’s a chain restaurant, but the food is pretty good, at least the breakfast meals. I must admit that I have not had anything other than breakfast food here. Ironically enough, I have not been here at breakfast time. That is because I am never hungry early in the morning. What makes this such a good place is the eggs, whether or not you eat them. For those who eat them, they are supposed to be very good. I don’t eat them, but my wife does. She finds the scrambled eggs better than those found elsewhere. As someone who does not eat eggs, I find the substitution policy quite enlightened. For the combination meals, you can substitute extra hash browns for the eggs. And a double portion of hash browns makes for a good meal. The hash browns are usually browned well and quite crispy. That fact is not true at out-of-area IHOPs. On some business trips I have been to local IHOPs and found their hash browns a bit greasier. It must be something in the way this location cooks them. Prices are reasonable enough, and you can usually find a coupon in the paper at regular intervals. The biggest coupon challenge is using your math skills to decide if it is better to take 20% off the entire meal or to pay 99 cents for an entrée. The staff will help you if you did not bring a calculator or suffer flashbacks when trying to do math.

Agree portion sizes could be bigger… Pancakes are very good though, imo… Bacon tasty but had the consistency of chips… The restaurant was clean. Friendly staff. If portion sizes were bigger I would give 4 stars… If I went in there super hungry, and wanted to leave with a full stomach I would be looking at spending around $ 20 or more easily for breakfast(with tip included)…C’mon man, that’s too much for breakfast.

You gotta take it for what it is. It’s a chain restaurant with standardized recipes and small portions. I personally love IHOP and have never had a bad experience at 1, but my boyfriend and his mother were not pleased with the small portion sizes of the pancakes. They kept ordering more(and they’re not big people!) and more until I guess they finally were satisfied. I love IHOP and will always be a fan; although, I don’t visit often. When I do though, it’s a real treat. My pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, and hash browns were pretty good. =)
