Always have an issue here. Food is standard and everything is clean. They give me honey for my biscuits so that makes me happy. For whatever reason, there is always an issue splitting our check. My entire family has worked at bobs at one point or another so I know I’m not asking for something that can’t be done. I just want the cashier to split the bill by seat. I was told that Bobs had changed their policy and couldn’t do this. I was then told that the cashier could try, but she couldn’t guarantee that the bill would be right. This made me very confused. If it had happened once I would have chalked it up to a fluke, but we have repeated problems with the same cashier.

My experience today at bobevans was terrible. When we walked in the table was not immediately cleared so we had to wait about five minutes to get a seat. We should’ve walked out then. It took a good amount of time to get our drinks but not too long. The bread was also brought out quickly. Sadly it was all downhill from here. The service was very slow and during this time the manager was nowhere in sight. I should mention that earlier the Mande laws walking around with the Reesie’s pie. When the food finally arrived about half an hour later it wasn’t even that good. I had the wildfires salad. The only thing wild about it was it’s terrible and simplistic taste. The salad probably could’ve been made at home for much cheaper. My husband had the Power bowl. It was also very simplistic and it had some weird mushrooms I look disgusting. My daughter has a three course meal with the broccoli cheddar soup cinnamon bread pork and the caramel sundae. We even had to wait for our check to be taken at the bakery. At least that girl was apologetic. No one else apologize for the terrible and slow service and simple food. Bobevans you need to and prove your dinner greatly your breakfast is decent though. I might be back for breakfast but I definitely will not be back for dinner.

Bob Evans is a good spot for breakfast. The food is average. I’m not a huge breakfast person so it’s hard for me to judge what’s good and what isn’t. Prices are good too. However today, we waited for ten minutes which was fine. Our names were called and they took a couple that complained even though they called our names? It was annoying but I got over it. When we went to our table, the floor was disgusting with food and silverware. I couldn’t believe they didn’t clean it before sitting us there. It was embarrassing and sort of gross. Our waitress was ditzy as well. I asked for butter and it took her 10 minutes to bring it back…

I was trying to go to Original Pancake House, but it was mobbed so settled on Bob Evans. I was hesitant because I generally don’t like eating around young kids and the elderly(sounds horrible I know) but gave it a shot. The kids and elderly were there in abundance but got seated right away. Service was friendly and prompt and the food was very good. The eggs were cooked perfectly as were the home fries. The biscuits were a nice surprise and were flaky but still soft and warm. The highlight was the brioche French Toast which was outstanding — I would recommend this dish if you go to a Bob Evans and brave the slow moving elderly stampede and kids running by your table screaming, sneezing and coughing everywhere they go.

My family has been coming to this establishment for«good enough» breakfasts for the past 6 years. Today was our absolute worst experience… so bad that I’ve elected to share my experience on Unilocal(so you know it has to be bad!) Strike one: We were seated in the normal dining room during a slow Friday afternoon. It took 10 minutes for the assistant manager, not our waitress, to notice us sitting there before inquiring about drinks. Another 5 minutes goes by and boom, drinks. Not bad. Another 10 minutes pass before we finally meet our waitress, who had been standing at the hostess station staring at us the entire time. From the time we walked in the door, it took us 25 minutes to put our order in, receive our drink, and be introduced to our waitress. Strike two: 35 minutes pass. Our 4-year old child is getting restless from not having the«yummy food» we encouraged him to order. The assistant manager comes over and explains that they«had to remake the pancake batter»(again, not our waitress. She’s still too busy talking to her fellow employees at the hostess station). The assistant manager explains to our now starving child that«everything will be up in about 3 minutes». Another 15 minutes pass and finally, there’s food! But wait… there’s more! Both my wife and I had ordered the basted eggs, which came out over medium and fried. Our«fully-loaded» home fries were missing 3 ingredients to make them«fully-loaded». The apple cinnamon pancakes were not only cold with congealed icing, but the middle of the pancakes weren’t even fully cooked, giving me a delicious but disturbing dining experience. The sausage links were burnt to the point of not being able to be cut them with a butter knife, and the first coffee refill was offered 40 minutes after we had initially received cup #1… and by «offered», I mean«we had to ask for a refill on cup 1 after 40 minutes». To make amends, they took 20% off of our bill. It’s appreciated, but this experience has definitely tarnished their reputation with us and will definitely affect our decision to return in the future.

Absolutely terrible. Went there this morning around 7 am thought we would try it out instead of cracker barrel. What a mistake. Strawberry crêpe was the nastiest thing I have ever seen Im surprised my bf even tried it. Same with the cheesy hashbrowns. Only good thing that came out of the kitchen was the cinnamon pancakes. Paid 28 $ for the worst breakfast ever– next time we will definitely be going to cracker barrel.

Food — 4 Price — 5(We only go using discounts from either Shopular or Retailmenot) Ambiance — 4 Service — 4 Simply put, they have always had really good food here. The biscuits are great and at this location they cook your food to perfection. I am actually shocked every time. If for some reason you have never been here you should give them a try. I know its a chain but some chains are great. And, the put out consistently good food. PS. Tuesday is family night and kids eat free.

Upon arrival my husband and I stood at the booth waiting for hostess Sara who was cashing out customers, she walked over to 2 women who were waiting for seating, with out even acknowledging us she processed to seat them, than Mike came over asked if we had be helped then He seated us. Our waitresses was cheerful and friendly promptly took our order and checked on us frequently without being overbearing, food arrived hot it was just basic breakfast but tasty. Everything was fine except Sara she need to practice her customer service skills a friendly just a minute would have worked instead of ignoring us.

Food was good but more expensive than I thought $ 42 for breakfast for 2 kids and 2 adults. I was expecting $ 30. Overall not bad. Great service until you go to pay. It took forever.

Thank evans we have better options than this national chain, within WNY. I was here at Bob Evans in 2011 for the first time and it was the first one I’d been to. I’ve since been to a few others and I was last here in Spring 2014 because someone insisted. I usually get one of the dinners and am never impressed. It tastes like frozen dinners really. Bob Evans is just another chain, I found out the hard way. It might be a step above IHOP or Perkins, but it’s really the same thing. It prides itself on being fresh and farm-to-table but it’s a national mega-chain with franchised locations at every exit off Ohio interstates… I find it ridiculous really. Anyway, the meal was okay… just okay… it was perhaps a little better than Denny’s and IHOP, but not much. Luckily, I was splitting something with a college friend and they seemed to like it(there is no accounting for taste) so I didn’t even have to eat much.

I have always loved Bob Evans. Whenever we are in the USA we like to go here because it is almost always good service, good food, and good prices. This past weekend was our first visit to this particular location and we were really disappointed. Our waitress was so unfriendly, lazy, and impatient. My son ordered the country fried steak and mashed potatoes and she asked him if he wanted the regular order or the three course meal. I asked her what the price difference was and her curt reply was«the prices are on the menu» and then she asked him again if he wanted the regular order or the three course meal. I looked through the menu and couldn’t find the price and asked her where in the menu I could find the price of the three course meal. It was clear from her attitude that I was really putting her out. She looked at the menu and told me the price and he ordered the three course meal. After a 40 minute wait, she served us our meal and slapped the bill on the table at the same time. The restaurant wasn’t too busy and there were lots of servers waiting on other tables. Something happened to her after that. She became almost nice and friendly. When we finished dinner, we ordered coffee and dessert. My husband thought she was going to turn into a fire breathing dragon at the thought of updating our bill with the coffee and dessert but she didn’t! We always leave a 20% tip — more for excellent service, less for not so good service. Her tip was just over 10% and part of me felt a little guilty about that but at the same time I felt she didn’t even earn the 10% we gave her.

I’d like to wrap this little jewel up & bring them to the west coast. This was my first time eating at a Bob Evans. We were visiting Niagara & staying nearby. It was so good for the evening meal we returned on mother’s day for a late lunch. The banana bread served with the meal is almost like dessert. Which should not be over looked. If you’re not that hungry they do have smaller portions. We had the pasta, Meatloaf, the steak & the pot-roast. All were very tasty. The manager even dropped by the table for a quick chat to make sure all our needs were met. Something that’s rare, even in a higher end restaurants. Well done Bob Evans. We left with dessert in a bag as our tanks were full. The only down side if you could even say that, was there was no Lemon Meringue pie to be had on Mother’s Day. So if you’re near a Bob Evans, you owe it to yourself to pay them a visit. You will not be disappointed. Just try not to overdo it. :-)

We had breakfast at Bob Evans twice during our Memorial day trip to the Niagara falls. This place is consistently clean, they always have line, which, however, moves rather quickly, staff is consistently friendly and food is consistently tasty and is served quickly. In other words, Bob Evans is perfect place for breakfast.

I love that we have a Bob Evans in New York. Now I can share the taste of the south with my Yankee friends. We used to eat there all the time in Florida(the old people there LOVE it), but it’s great for families too. In fact, when my daughter turned 11, we let her pick where she wanted to eat dinner. Of course, I knew it would be Chuck E Cheese or some pizza place. Nope. She wanted to dine with her 70-year-old friends at Bob Evans. She loved the kids’ meals and fun straws. She’s 18 now and still likes to go, but it’s more for the dessert. The breakfast at Bob Evans is my favorite reason to go, especially if I get there early enough for their oatmeal. They have healthier options or the«harden your arteries» variety of breakfasts. Really, something for everyone!

Loved the experience out and out! Amazing food… fresh and wholesome and very filling. Courteous staff. Price is a bit on the higher side, but thoroughly justified. Would go again… would recommend to friends!

They have good food and plenty of seating. Sometimes when they are busy they forget to wipe off tables which can be a stomach turner, but when it’s clean you can count on fast service and hearty meals at a reasonable price

On a busy Sunday morning with two adults and two kids. The wait was quick and the waitress(Kelly)was GREAT. She immediately made sure the kids were taken care of and that there areas were free of silverware! Wonderful! Everything we ordered came out quickly, all drinks were filled before we asked, and the food was cooked perfectly(even my request for well done hash browns– I like ‘em crunchy). Then the nicey-nice manager came over to make sure everything was alright. I swear I got better service here than I do at most of my favorite fancy pants restaurants. Not gunna lie, I was not expecting that. Was it culinary genius? No, it was still Bob Evans, but I’ll be back for a reasonably priced tasty meal that’s delivered by top notch service.

I had some time to kill so I went to this Bob Evan’s. I’ve eaten at Bob’s before and it can be quite good, but this was my first time at this location. I had Pot Roast Hash breakfast that I have had several times before and it was okay. Just okay, two eggs with some meat and some cheese on some half-effort unimpressive potatoes. Nothing was bad enough to complain about, nothing was very good. The staff was very nice and attentive. The host had cheesy mildly humorous lines for everyone, and at least three different people asked me if I was doing okay. Whatever. Bottom line is, the breakfast and coffee cost me $ 13 after only $ 1.60 in tip. I would prefer to tip more but the meal was too pricey already. Sorry dude waitor, but I’m not playing ball with you guys. $ 13 was too much money for what you served me. For that price at Sophia’s I would have had leftovers that had to be carried with two hands. For that price at Tim Horton’s I’d have eaten breakfast and lunch, and had coffee until dinner. Be nice, make jokes, give me a full pot of coffee and wifi. Whatever. I’m there to eat, just because your too lazy to fill up coffee and give me a full pot I’ll never finish isn’t a reason I should pay that amount for your mediocre food. While I ate I heard another table of seniors complaining about their coupon and the waitress assuring them they’d be taken care of. I decided that was my last meal at Bob Evan’s, or anywhere else that expects me to subsidize coupons and senior discounts by paying full price. Enjoy your $ 13, you are getting no more from me. Even at the grocery store today I bought Johnsonville sausages instead of Bob Evans.

Food was good. Most importantly, managers and entire crew were super friendly and attentive. Our waitress(Mariah) was an absolute sweetheart. Handled our every need before we had a chance to ask her to. Super cool place if you like decent food at a good price served by exemplary people!

Stopped across the street at the gas station. This restaurant was in a convenient spot. Never been to Bob Evans before. Had a chance to see the previous Unilocal reviewer(Amy K.) and was hoping she was wrong. Sadly she was right on. I would describe Bob Evans as a Cracker Barrel/Perkins hybrid. This place definitely has appeal to old people with blue hair. The food quality was ok. Visual appeal was not something important to the cook. It was just slopped onto the plate. Again, for the price, it was alright. No horror story here. The place is solid but not inspired. The floor could have used a good sweeping. I am thinking regular maintenance isn’t high on their list priorities either. Over all, a shame.
