This hotel would not reserve a room for an overdue pregnant woman who lives in Amarillo and needed to be closer to the hospital due to a predicted blizzard. They said they do not rent rooms to people who live in Amarillo. Stay here if you want but just know they would not change their policy even due to the circumstances.

Checked into room 222 and found the furniture to be worn and horribly stained. Pealed back the sheets to find hair and stains, I called the front desk to be relocated. The second room– there was trash out front of the door and bird feces everywhere. Walking in the furniture had the same problem and the sheets and towels were dirty. The only redeeming featuring is that Aaron at the front desk was very quick and accommodating to provide my refund with no cancellation charge.

The bed was comfy, the room was clean, the breakfast was good, the staff was friendly & the price was right. Loved the Texas shaped waffle!

My husband and I were moving from Michigan to Arizona and stopped here for our second night. Even though we arrived at 2 am, Michael, the night employee, was incredibly attentive, kind, and conversational. The room was HUGE, with a king bed, two dressers, a desk, two couches, a flat screen tv, granite sinks – way more than we’d anticipated. It was clean and open and inviting. We had fresh, incredibly soft towels, a clean comfy bed, and a microwave and fridge. What else could we ask for during a quick stop? It was fantastic. Cons: The pillows were pretty flat. We had four, so we doubled up and didn’t mind at all. But I know for some people pillows are a big deal. And. There were a couple stains on the chairs and couches. Did this affect their comfort? Not at all. I know how unclean some hotel guests can be, and I can’t blame Quality for being unable to spot-treat all of their furniture. Great breakfast. Close to the freeway. Lovely staff. We definitely recommend it.

Great place to stop for the night! Large room, comfortable beds and good breakfast for way less than the competition! I’d stay again!

This location is under staffed. This is unfair to the staff, and unfair to the guests. The room was spacious and clean, if a bit out of date. The bed was comfortable enough that I actually slept, and I’m a total pansy about mattresses. But in the morning the same person was running the front desk and running the breakfast, and not only did this mean that both stations suffered in terms of customer service, but also that quite a few health code violations were going on as the poor woman struggled to keep up with everything that needed to get done. This could be a very nice hotel if they got a few more people working during the morning rush.

Our family has been staying at so many of these roadside motels this summer that I’ve become wary of them and never thought I would write a positive review for one. This place gets 3 stars for their 5-star beds and 1-star breakfast(think powdered eggs). Back to the beds… We chose this place because we require queen-sized beds. The mattresses, pillows, sheets and down comforter and coverlets were obviously new and of very high quality. Thanks for the good night’s sleep!
