Specialties

Therapeutic Massage in Alvin, Texas!

I am evidence based and research driven in my approach to managing your soft tissue pain. With my office décor and subdued lighting, complimentary hot towels and experience with an upscale spa clientele, I strive to create an atmosphere in which you may relax and enjoy what is otherwise a clinical and extraordinarily effective service. The Therapeutic Combination massage (60, 90 & 120 minutes) offers Clinical Trigger Point Therapy protocols wrapped in a top spa quality massage; the best of both worlds. I believe my attention to detail, concern for your best outcome, depth of accredited education – one not generally found in a Licensed Massage Therapist – and field experience set me apart in a growing pool from which you may choose your next massage therapist. By appointment only.

On the road I bring what I can of the atmosphere, but the services and professionalism remain the same.

Complete Mobile Spa to Surfside Beach and Galveston Island.

History

Established in 2006.

Dallas Longshore MA, LMT, CTPT, began providing in home personal training services in 2006 as an NSCA certified trainer and completed his Masters degree in FItness and Human Performance later that same year. In 2007 he attended Texas School of Massage, earned his massage therapy license and studied closely with Dr. Laura Perry DC and the Institute of Trigger Point Therapy to become a Certified Clinical Trigger Point Therapist in 2008. Beginning his massage career with an upscale spa in late 2007, he was ranked the #1 therapist within a year and was bound for private practice in two. After an initial period of working out of his home, Dallas was given the opportunity to be a part of the revitalization of downtown Alvin, TX by leasing an office and moving the practice to share a suite with a group of local counselors.

Business Owner

While attending the University of Houston — Clear Lake and earning a Masters degree in Fitness & Human Performance, a professor of mine suggested I look into massage as an aside to the personal fitness and consulting business plan that had me in the graduate program to begin with! I graduated in December 2006, started massage school January 2007 and was first employeed at an upscale spa in the Houston area later that same year – the fitness business plan was out the window and I haven’t looked back!

Completing Dr. Laura Perry’s 60 hour Clinical Trigger Point Therapy certification program with the Houston based Trigger Point Institute was undoubtedly the best thing I’ve done for my career. Many a therapist will bandy about the term «trigger point therapy», but a precious few have the knowledge and understanding of how any particular trigger point will effect another, nor do they have complete protocols for releasing primary as well as satellite TrPs for any given pain referral pattern.
