Whether your style is dressy or western, we have many different backgrounds and props for everyone! Margaret makes sure that each client’s photo session unique and personal to them.

History

Established in 1979.

Margaret owns a beautiful 5 acre studio on a country hilltop in Alvarado, TX. When she moved to the property over 30 years ago there was an old cabin. Later, she added other props, including old wagons, tractors, rustic rail fencing, a gazebo, a rock building, old Dodge pickup truck, a rock waterfall and more. Margaret has experimented with the lighting at various locations and knows the best time of day for portraiture.

Margaret Jackson has a real passion for the art of photography. She truly LOVES what she does. She enjoys be able to capture important moments in one’s life, so that it can be cherished for years to come. Margaret’s love for photography started as a child when she got a Kodak Brownie camera for Christmas. She immediately became the «family photographer». Understanding her creative background makes it easy to see why she is so good at what she does. Margaret’s job as a clothing buyer taught her invaluable skills for advising clients on how to dress for a portrait. Her modeling career taught her how to pose women in the most flattering ways. It is that «personal touch» that sets her apart from other photographers. This, along many years of hard work and continuous learning in this field, makes Margaret Jackson the Master Photographer she is.
