Although Dr. Luke’s love for children originally inspired him to pursue a career as a traditional pediatrician, the death of his five-​year-​old cousin from a brain tumor convinced him that his interest is in wellness rather than in sickness. Therefore, he changed his focus to chiropractic and nutrition, not only to bring his patients into the highest level of health possible, but also to help them maintain that state of wellness and functionality.

It was Dr. Luke’s privilege to take part in a Chiropractic Mission Trip to provide care to orphans and the under-​privileged of Cochabamba, Bolivia. That experience deepened his appreciation of what chiropractic can do to restore and maintain health. With his special interests in autism and children, Dr. Luke is Co-​Founder and President of the Board of Directors for Promise House, a resource center for families with autistic children. The Center provides a play center, speakers, and seminars to support these families.
