A family tragedy involving the death of her older sister led Dr. Stephen’s family to explore and be open to alternative methods of healthcare. Consequently, she, herself, became interested in studying alternative methods, including chiropractic. Intrigued by the fact that chiropractic works to support the body structurally to insure a healthy nerve supply so that the body can heal itself naturally, chiropractic became not only her choice for healthcare, but it also became her passion and career.

Dr. Stephen’s formal education began at The State Univeristy of New York at Cortland, and then in 2006, she graduated with Honors from New York Chiropractic college. She is certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners in Chiropractic Practice, Physiotherapy, and Adjunctive Procedures as well as being certified in spinal and upper/​lower extremity Active Release Technique. Most recently she has received certification in the patented Impluse Adjusting Instrument Technique.
