I’m sorry as much as I liked this place for overall vibe and the two younger dudes that cut hair there I’ve had three bad experiences here and I feel I must share. When I ask for a specific type of hair cut, then that’s what I want, don’t feel free to do whatever you want as a barber! I don’t think they comprehend this fact. Also the middle age woman here is the worst. I’ll just leave that alone there. Twice I’ve asked for a low fade and these guys practically shave my whole damn head. I even showed a picture this last time. Again I’m sorry to have to write this cos in all fairness they’re really cool people here and I really wanted to like this place. But come on, it’s not like these hair cuts are free. The guy with the tattoos is cool and does a good job but if he’s not there don’t take the gamble. That’s just my opinion. Maybe I’ll come back when I just want a total head shave.

Love this place, lady in the back is great with kids. They don’t talk your ear off which I like, get in, get out and be happy with my haircut is all I want, and this place delivers. Great cuts most importantly.

12/18/2015 Top Notch. As stated in a previous review for Supercuts, I hate to get my hair cut. My wife kept mentioning to me that I should go to a barber and try it out. Out of frustration from going back and forth between Fantastic Sams and Supercuts with crappy results, I figured I would give it a try. I was truly impressed with my overall experience. While I was waiting I didn’t realize that their credit card machine was not working, so I told them that I had to go get cash. They told me to go ahead and get my hair cut; I could come back with the cash when I was finished. I have never had a business allow me to do this before and I was caught off guard by the level of trust that they had given me. As far as getting my hair cut, I usually get a #2 mid-fade on the sides, with a trim on top. I do not recall the barbers name, but he took his time and did a fantastic job; something I am not use to with franchise salons. I will definitely be back for another cut.

Been going here since the shop opened. I get my haircut once a week by Frank, and honestly never had a cut that was bad. Everyone that works here is friendly and will do their best to do the cut you want. Frank treats you as if your family so you’ll feel right at home and he never rushes your haircut and he takes pride in giving you a good haircut. The few times that Frank is not available and had to use other barbers the haircuts have been good as well. Prices are reasonable.

They have some great barbers, but they have new random people every single time I go. After a few low quality cuts. I am more careful about who I go to. The newer guy with the tattoos(sorry I can’t remember his name) is the best I’ve experience of the barbers that haven’t been there for a long time.

Go to shop when I get a cut. No drama. any barber will do, they have a younger girl, a cool tat’d dude, and a nice elderly lady. All great.

15 bucks for my cut and 10 for a clean shave and beard cleanup. First time here and I’ll be back.. Chill humble workers not like these cooky barbers that are out there. I’ll definitely be coming back

Usually I will only trust Goodtimez Barber Shop in Upland with my fade but Frank took great care of me. I was hesitant and skeptical because my hair is difficult to cut but he did a great job. $ 15 is about the going rate for a cut and fade. I would go here again bc there was no wait like other places!

After what feels like a billion bad haircuts at fancy salons frank finally fixed me! I never thought I’d find the right person to cut my hair at a barber shop, but he has over 18 years of experience with women’s hair. I don’t want to go anywhere else for my hair again.

After eating breakfast with my husband, he mentioned that he needed a haircut. We were going to a nice dinner with family that evening. To be quite honest, I don’t think my husband has set foot in a barber shop since the week of our wedding in 2007! He usually gets his hair cut by his friend at work. Either that or he shaves his head bald. We tried going to a barber shop on Foothill Blvd but it was closed. So we were on our way to the closest Supercuts when we stumbled upon Carpelli’s. They are across the street from the IHOP on Archibald and next to a Mexican restaurant. The take credit card payments(Visa, MasterCard), but don’t take American Express. They also allow walk-in appointments. My husband got a chair right away. The guy who cut his hair said he only started there about 3 months ago, but this barber shop has been around for 25 years. As I sat waiting for him, I noticed that more men started coming in and they seemed like regulars. They are all very friendly with each other and talk. Haha. so funny to see guys«talking» while getting their hair cut. Just like being in a hair salon… He did a razor fade for him and left his hair on top. He told him to grow his hair out on top and to come back in a couple months so he can finish the look off for him. Including tip, he spent about $ 20 for his cut. He said he’ll come back in a few months. So as his wife, I think the cut looks nice but a bit short on the sides. However, I see where he’s going with the look so I’m actually looking forward to see how it comes out in the next few weeks when his hair grows longer. 27⁄100 Reviews for 2015

A place for a man to feel at home and comfortable. My barber knew what I wanted before I could show him the picture. So while getting a perfect haircut and talking about women the entire time, how can one go wrong? I will be back. Rob is the barber I use there.
