I don’t know about other folks but I had an excellent experience with Carol and her husband. Very helpful and explained a lot to me about owning my helium tank. I would highly recommend them for your helium refill needs. Communication and availability was great.

Carol was really professional and you can tell that she really enjoys what she does. I don’t know why there are some negative reviews on here. She is also very nice and gives you all the information you need to know about something, which in my case was a helium tank. She gives you an approximation of how many balloons a tank can fill and worked with me until I made my decision on what I wanted. The price for the tank was pretty good compared to many other places I called around my area. I would recommend her to others and I would work with again.

Yup the bad review was right! Carol has awful customer phone skills. Called for a price to rent a helium tank for 20 – 30 balloons. Not a big deal. Then asked for the size of balloons. I told her just standard latex. I understand there’s different sizes but come on just tell me so this size u can get this many balloons and so on. Instead of being rude and not helpful since I told her I’m new to this party stuff. This seems like a basic question she gets all the time so work on your customer service skills and you won’t lose customers right off the bat. Thanks but no thanks.

I rented a medium sized helium tank for my sons first birthday this past weekend and it was great! We had more than enough balloons for decorating and then some. The price was great and the transaction was easy. Thank you so much Carol, I’ll definitely be coming to you for my next parties and I’ll be recommending you to anyone I know that throws parties. Thank you thank you!

I read the review below from Anna L. but I had a VERY different experience! I found Carol to be very friendly and professional. She did ask me as well about the size and quantity of the balloons I would be using, and I am sure glad she did — it turns out some of the mylar balloons I used took a ton of helium, and with Carol’s help we had the right amount and didn’t overspend.
The payment, pickup, and drop off processes are super easy. We will ABSOLUTELY be using Carol again for any helium rental needs. Not only was her rental more cost effective than a party store, it was just simpler.

I didn’t even get close to renting a tank due to the horrible phone call experience. I just called wanting to rent a tank for a small birthday party for the kids. I estimated that a tank that can fill about 100 balloons would do. The lady started to snap at me on not knowing what size balloons i was going to be using. When i tried to explain to her it’s not a big deal since it’s a small party she cut me off to snap at me again saying helieum is expensive and blah blah blah… i had to tell her i’d call back and hung up before i start being rude like her. Lady, I’m not a kid, and you’re not my mother. Go snap at your own kids.

I have used Carol’s services for work related events and have been very happy with her creativity and thoughtful suggestions. But what compelled me to write on Unilocal is an emotional response to her thoughtfulness. I called Carol for a personal reason. This time I called because I was having a celebration of life for my son who died a few weeks prior. She had an event already scheduled for that day but worked us into her schedule.
We just wanted some balloons to help people find the house as we live in a very rural community with limited street parking. Carol asked me if I’d like to do a «balloon release» as part of our celebration. People could write messages to my son and then we release them into the sky. Just thinking about it made me cry and I initially declined. She didn’t push but came prepared and on that morning asked me again and encouraged me to think about it. I relented and she added 50 white balloons tied in a separate area so individuals could write their messages.
Besides the other balloon arrangements which helped add some really nice ambiance to the day… I have to say that at the moment we let those 50 white balloons, with messages of love and goodbyes and promises to keep his spirit in our hearts, go into the sky… it was like a weight of sorrow lifted. A beautiful, peaceful moment that I will chrerish forever!
Carol, as usual, your suggestion absolutely made the day the best it could be.
