I’ve known the owner of this company for some time now as friends previous to our adventure into the world of iphone repairs together. We both shared the passion that goes into creating satisfied customers. He gave us the service, and I gave him my ideas behind creating the greatest experience for a customer. Brought in my Asus tablet with a small crack on the screen. Was told they had a replacement in stock and would have it the next day. Next day was called and told that the one they had on site was defective so they had to order one. 5 – 7 days. 5 days later got a call that new one came in and should be ready that day. Received a call the next day that they were having issues with the new screen and that they were trying to work it out. Called later that night and told my device was not repairable. No charge So I go to pick it up today. Gone is the small crack instead almost the entire screen is cracked. Apologized said that happened taking it off to repair it. Then when I left I noticed the broken off top of my micros SD card taped to the side of the device. Guess they forgot to mention that. Buyer beware!

I’ve seen these types of stores pop up and I never wanted to use them, but the staff here made it quick and easy. I got my phone fixed the same day I dropped it off. I picked them because they had the best price when I was doing research online. My phone looks brand new. I’m not even a big case person, but I picked one up because they give you a discount off of the case with a repair. I definitely recommend them.

I know this is long, but the truth must come out (like so many other reviews about this place).
My Samsung 4 came out worse than when I took it in.
I made a huge mistake in not coming on Unilocal here and not checking out reviews before coming here.
I was walking the dogs a few months ago when when one of those atomic bombs (thunder) exploded while I was texting and it scared Rocky and he came to a complete stop while I was holding onto his leash. So WE came to instant stop while the phone kept going, and the screen was cracked. Although it did no damage mechanically.
I recently took it in here simply to fix it «cosmetically» by getting the glass screen replaced. They replaced it, charged the $ 150 they said they would and I went along my way. Inside the next 3 days, the phone kept on freezing, especially when using Google Maps (VERY important that this does not happen in my position at work), the battery was so hot at times it was burning my butt when it was in my back pocket and it would have «seizures»…I brought it back in, and they said they would fix it and it appeared that they did, but in the 60 seconds before I even left the store, it started giving the same problems! They said all they could do is replace the screen and give me a refund and since they could not handle their job, I decided to do that.
The phone now works, but the glass is broke in more places, including a spot where a piece where it is not flush with the rest of it, sticking up ready to cut and break off and also, I basically have to use my fingernails to push the buttons because the glass is higher, that I cannot use my fingers.
Now, I will sit back back to hear Alex O’s review of this situation he did not experience.

I just got my phone repaired here and the service was outstanding. Mohamed helped me and as soon as I walked in he recognized me from 4 weeks prior when I came in to get a quote for the repair. He stated that it would take about 45 minutes to repair my phone so I went over to Wendy’s for lunch but was only there for about 20 minutes before heading back to see if my phone was ready. I knew I would be early. I assumed that since I was returning early the phone would not be ready. Well not only was it ready but Mohamed greeted me as soon as I walked in, returned my phone, explained the 90 day warranty, showed that all was working fine with the phone and checked me out. All in less time than the 45 minutes he quoted me. This is my second time using these guys. I was fairly impressed the first time and I am even more impressed this time. The only thing that I was a bit disappointed in was the price. $ 99 for a cracked screen is high to me but much less than my deductible. Mohamed sold me on the screen protector and I even got a Unilocal 10% discount for checking in while in the store. Good deal!

I visited the Alpharetta location based on a Groupon deal. I was told they don’t participate in Groupon pricing. When I said other places charge less he agreed to match their price but not the least published one. So their pricing was sketchy. Then when I went to pick up my iPad2, it was damaged in the corner, they said they had to bend it to replace the screen and the screen on my iPod touch was not completely glued in, I was told if I put it in a hard case it will stick in a few days. After all of this I don’t think they know what they are doing and I regret having done the work there. There won’t be a next time for me.

I took my Samsung galaxy 5S phone in for repair of a cracked screen on a Saturday and was told it would be ready on Monday and was therefore willing to pay the steep 300 fee for quick service. The phone was not ready until Thursday, but oh well. I got it back and the substandard screen cracked on Friday morning, only a few hours after I picked it up. I didn’t drop the phone or anything. A hairline crack occurred right at the volume button. They refused to re-replace the screen and only offered be to fix it again. Unbelievable, expensive, slow, substandard parts, and won’t stand behind their work.

Do yourself a favor and take your IPhone to the Apple store. I had my display replaced because it was cracked and it cost me $ 128. A day later I placed my phone on a hard surface and it cracked again. I took it back to the store and they told me it was not their fault and I would have to pay full price to have it replaced again. I then took it to the Apple store where they quoted me $ 149 to have the display replaced. I decided to have it done by the experts. I waited two hours and was told they could not touch my phone because it had «third party equipment» on it. It voids any warranty and Apple will not work on your phone. Plus I can never get a replacement phone because of the «third party equipment» on my phone. This place does not tell you that and they even have Apple logos all over their store making it seem like they are an Apple approved vendor. Not so. Do not waste your money. Pay full price and go to the Apple store and get the work done right.

This place is a joke! Do not use them. I took my son’s phone to there to have front glass replaced they quoted me a DIFFERENT price than listed on the website; then after they so called ordered the part while my son was at their shop they call me back the next day saying we need to take the phone apart to get the correct part? ARE YOU SERIOUS… duh I thought that was what you did the day before… Horrible service and really don’t know what they are doing!!! Take my advice pay a couple of dollars elsewhere to get a piece of mind!!!11

An absolute nightmare. I brought in a pristine 32 gig iPhone 4 to have a slightly cracked front glass replaced and spent several hours having the service performed. They then admitted to causing a now non-working front camera and also caused damage resulting in my phone to no longer have the ability to connect to any WiFi. I returned two additional times to try to get help and service only to find an inept staff and a manager that refuses to communicate to rectify the damage. I have been without a working phone for over a month and am now forced to take this to their corporation office in Fl. for hopefully, professional, help and deserved compensation.
— Do yourself a HUGE favor, pay the extra few dollars, and have your work performed by a truly professional company and ESPECIALLY AVOID the Alpharetta store. Comments by a technician entailed, «I’m not that familiar with Apple software, I’m an Android user.»

My MacBook Pro suffered water damage recently and it failed to power on. I brought it to uBreakiFix it for repair.
Water damage estimates are free. I took it in hours after the incident. I got a call a few days later and was informed that it would need a new keyboard. End result, the technicians got it working again. I was charged the price of a cleaning and a reduced price for the keyboard; not full for both — which was great.
I was told when I picked it up that the cursor did not respond to trackpad movements immediately after powered on, but after a few minutes it seemed to work.
After I got it home and used it more, I noticed the trackpad was working however, it was not responding accurately as I was using the trackpad. In addition, gestures were happening on their own. Such as going to the widgets screen or showing the desktop and the cursor was erratic, even when using a mouse. Very frustrating!
I called back the same day I picked it up and reported the issues with trackpad. I inquired as to how much it would be to replace the trackpad and was informed I would get a callback. I NEVER got that callback.
Although I am appreciative of the work to get my MacBook Pro operational again, the only negative experience was not getting that call back with regards to replacing the trackpad.
Out of frustration I did not bother to follow-up, therefore, I purchased a trackpad on eBay for under $ 40 and replaced it myself. All is good now.

Quick and easy repair for a reasonable price.
My iPhone 4 had the power/lock button stuck and non functional. Google brought me to the conclusion that Apple expected upwards of $ 150 to trade out the phone for a refurb. Several of the threads mentioned ubreakIfix, and the Alpharetta store was closest.
The Alpharetta store took care of it quickly and easily. Definitely would recommend for any one with an out of warranty iPhone problem!
