We order pizza from here for takeout. It’s consistently good pizza — one of our favorites in the area.

Normally this spot has excellent service and food. Today the pizza slices were burned pretty bad, enough to make it appear unattractive to eat and service was mediocre. I understand everyone has bad days but when the place is half empty there is no excuse. And nothing excuses burned pizza when you weren’t being rushed. I called in the order for pickup 30 minutes prior to picking up.(I was told the prep time needed would be 15 minutes) Normally the pizza at this spot is incredible but today I guess it was totally dependant upon who is working. I want to say whenever older personnel or owner/management is present, the standards are typically higher but not so much when they are not. I am hoping this place does better on a more consistent basis because it’s a very close and convenient location to where I live and as I mentioned before I have previously received great food and service. Just beware and warned and make observation of the staff prior to deciding to place your order for dine in. To Go orders are not recommended by me since you cannot tell who is working by phone.

This pizza is excellent. I haven’t been inside the restaurant and have just ordered delivery. The crust is thick and tastes homemade.

The owner has to be out of her mind letting 3 teenagers run the restaurant by themselves. We ordered a margarita pizza. The tomatoes and basil on top were cold and completely raw. The cheese underneath was brown and almost overcooked. We are pretty sure that one of the girls ran to the store to pickup tomatoes and basil after we had placed the order and thru them on the pizza when it was already done. ALL furniture is broken. One of the tables even has a «broken» sign on it. If you’re too lazy to buy hardware to fix it, remove it. It’s a hazard. The owner clearly has zero common sense and doesn’t have the ability to successfully run a restaurant. Never coming back again.

Great experience, the lady was friendly always checked in with us. She is a great conversationalist. I look forward to coming back in the future. The food was great, made precisely to our requests and didn’t take a long time.

The wings are pretty bad. The customer service on the phone is not that great either.

Mediocre service and food. Ordered two subs to go, it took an hour. First he made the sandwich wrong the next one he dropped. Food was not good

We ordered the sandwiches — I called before hand and asked if their tuna melt was actually tuna salad or just tuna. They said Tuna Salad. let me tell you, it’s just tuna with lettuce and tomato on top and mayo spread across the bun. On top of that, the entire filling(tuna, lettuce, cheese, everything) was crammed into the crease of the roll. It was disgusting. I basically took it apart, scraped out the tuna, made tuna salad out of it, then put it back in the roll and put a new slice of cheese and heated it on the foreman grill. My mom got the meatball sub– it was pathetic. It was falling apart on her– the sauce was stale, no cheese, it was horrible. I was going to call to talk to the manager and give him a chance to rectify the situation but I really just ran out of time and so I hope this makes a difference in stead.

All I can say is how mediocre the service(and overall experience) here was! As I first arrived at this place, and not because it was our first choice restaurant either, the open doors threw me off. It just gave me a bad impression about how unprofessional it was to have the front doors propped open. As my friend and I entered, the waitress asked if we needed help. Well, we were confused because we were unsure if this was a self seated place. So far things aren’t bad … yet. :\ We ordered our food and received it accordingly. Nothing strange, whacky, or out of the norm. By the way, their Caesar salad wasn’t authentic according to my friend. They didn’t use romaine lettuce but instead the ice berg ones. One additional comment before I continue my ranting. lol. The pizza slices are huge. It was about an XL size. Just in case you’re debating about ordering it by the slice. Okay, back to the rant… It seriously took 3 tries for me to get my to-go box. Three!!! And yes, it was addressed to the same person, not to 3 different individuals. Other than this unnecessary craziness, our bill was split the wrong way. :| Even though we specified which items went with which credit card, the FULL amount was charged on my friend’s card. Wad?! Yeah… Fortunately my amount was correct, but my friend got the bulk of this crazy experience. After this was brought to the waitress’ attention, it took forever for them to get the manager’s attention to correct this matter. What threw me off was how cool the waitress acted. I mean, she WAS the person that messed up. After 5 minutes of waiting, the waitress swung by again to say that my friend’s money could not be refunded. Grrr. But… Cash back was an option. And the waitress made it seem like she was unsure of her math skills as well. One positive thing that did happen though… Our waitress felt compelled to swing by our table when we were eating to tell us that she felt good about her self image since her daughter had made a comment earlier that day about something. Something about a song that was playing in the background that reminded the waitress of this positive feeling she held inside. It was strange, but nonetheless something nice she shared with us. That’s pretty much the only positive that really stuck in my mind.

Our team plays trivia at Johnny’s on Tuesdays on a pretty regular basis. Pro: We like it because we win often, because most of the staff is nice, and because Kevin, the DJ, is a pretty awesome guy. Con: Whether or not I enjoy being at Johnny’s truly depends on the day. It’s a «family-friendly» restaurant, which means some days, there are a lot of children. The children talk in loud voices. The sound gets turned up to drown out the children. And, because the place only seats between 50 – 70 people, you really shouldn’t need earplugs. However, sometimes, you do. Pro: Other days, it’s really quiet and laid-back, and people are just eating their food and playing trivia. Those days are awesome. The menu is nothing special, but there are more options than most pizza places. The subs are awesome. If there’s anything on the menu you want customized, or you just want to make up your own thing, they’ll typically make it for you. In fact, there are very few requests that get a «No». As I’ve said, the staff working there is super-nice. Con: When the place actually has 50 people, it’s not only loud and really hot, but the kitchen gets backed up. It can take a long time to get your food, so order an appetizer and wear a sleeveless outfit. Pro: Parking is never a hassle and if you’re not playing trivia, there’s a space to sit outside when the weather is nice. All in all, I like Johnny’s Pizza. It’s one of the better pizza chains in the Atlanta area.

Pretty good Pizza. and Excellent service. They were very accommodating to get us a pizza that made my wife and I and our son and daughter happy. Not easy with just one Lg. pizza. Good Greek salad too. I reserve 4&5 stars for the type of pizza we had in NYC last Sept., but definitely better than Papa-johns, Pizza-hut, etc.

While this place is not much to look at, it reminds me of some of the rundown but authentic pizza places up north. Their pies are some of the best in the area and that is really what it is all about. Thin crisp crust with no skimping on the toppings! The owner /manager of this location is a hoot and writing this review is making me think about calling them and ordering a pie for my wife and I and a plain cheese for the girls!

I visited this location last week and I must say the pizza was pretty darn good. I’m originally from NY and this was the best NY style pizza I’ve had in GA. I will be back very soon. A lot of places in GA have claimed to be NY style pizza joints, but they have failed miserably.

This Johnny’s is only 5 minutes from my house, and is nice since it is close to my sister’s house as well(she lives in Duluth). So when we all go out, we usually pick somewhere like Johnny’s. We went sometime last week, and I was suprised how empty it was! It is laid back, low key, and has some decent pizza. They have a few beers on tap(but they were out of 2 beers I wanted!) As a table we ordered a meat deluxe, cheese, and a pepperoni pizza(s). Also ordered garlic knots. Food was good and came out quick. Good for a NY pizza fix. They also deliver as well, and have a few dated arcade games for the kids(or adults who do not want to grow up… … … …)

I hate to give this location a bad review since it’s my neighborhood pizza place, literally within walking distance of my home. However, I’ve eaten at several of this chain’s locations and found them to be decent and usually consistent and this is, by far, the worst location I’ve been to. I won’t be eating here again. The last straw for me came last night when my girlfriend and I stopped in for dinner. When we walked up to the counter to order, we witnessed a nasty argument between the cook and a manager(?). I was honestly concerned that the two might come to blows; it was loud, nasty, angry, and went on for a long while. I ordered a slice of pizza and got it no problems. My girlfriend ordered a salad from a menu advertising some new dishes. She was told, rather brusquely, that the restaurant was out of most of the toppings in the menu’s description. She ordered anyhow, but when the salad came out, it had all of the toppings that the menu said it would. There was no explanation of why the missing toppings had appeared and despite being advertised as a dinner salad, it was very small and sparse. Not worth the money. My main problem with this location, though, is that it’s filthy. Our table was visibly dirty; dried pizza sauce was on the table top, the booths were grimy, and the carpet around the table hadn’t been cleaned in… a long while. If there had been a cleaner booth we would have moved, but there wasn’t. Sadly, our table seemed to be the cleanest. The fixtures in the restaurant are dirty, seats are worn and duct taped together, carpets are stained and crumby, and everything seems to be run down and worn out.

Me and my significant other went in there last week to grab a semi late bite to eat. I felt disgusting eating there, over half of the tables in the restraunt weren’t bussed or in the process of being bussed(they sat with dirty dishes, half eaten food during our entire dinning experience). All the the seat were dirty, ripped and unkempt(same with the floor) I felt like it was staffed with a bunch of seventeen year olds who didn’t give a f*** about doing there job. dirty. bad service. disgusting. no way they got above an 80 on there last health review.

Not all pizza are made, topped, and baked equal. Company dept’s treat. From the unimpressive, franchise pizzas to local pizza joints, I say Johnny’s New York Style Pizza is worth checking out.

These guys make a darn good pizza. And for a large 1 topping, it’s one of the cheapest. When we first moved here my wife and I called around to find which service delivered the cheapest pepperoni pizza, and these guys were it. Little did we know they were also leaps and bounds tastier than the chain pizza places. They’re right around the corner, cheap, and very tasty. I haven’t tried any of their other food, cause if I’m there I can’t pass up the pizza.
