Ate here last night and everything was on point. It wasn’t busy Tuesday night so it was easy to get food and my food selections tasted great. Our server Antonio provided excellent service and was very kind.

Excellent visit. Visited for dinner. The manager– Shane was so helpful and informative as my mother had concerns with allergies. The restaurant was clean. The food was fresh and hot. My mother enjoyed our very kind young male waiter. Carlos(I believe) — we will be back!

Awesome selection of food, everything was fresh. Salad/produce area was excellent, love the option of getting a baked sweet potato to accompany my steak which was fresh off the grill. Wished the fried shrimp were bigger(popcorn size). Would have given a 5 star if the bathroom was clean. They really need to do more bathroom checks. In a smörgåsbord establishment, you would think that would be a top priorty.

Hospital food!!! Choose another location. Customer Service is terrible unless caucasian, of course, it’s Alpharetta. The food is the most bland and limited than other location.

Ok so… disgusting but I was on a budget and feeding two boys with the appetizer of 40 men. My thought was get there early so the food isn’t picked over, the geriatric folks wake up at 4:30am and the food was YUCKY I got there at 8something in the morning and they already had the lunch/dinner food out!!! Who does that. Ewwwww needles to say I will not be back. If your looking for cheap food fast don’t go here. Go to the gas station because that’s what this food tastes like straight garbage

I am quite confused and upset. I got an omelet to go this morning. Get back to work to dig in and the first bite… egg shells. Ok, fine. ruined the meal, but I like this place for breakfast and never had a problem like this before… BUTCANYOUBELIEVE… I asked to speak to the manager over the phone and he asked me to «save a sample» of the omelet and bring it back!!! Sweets, I am at work, won’t get off until late afternoon and you want a DNA sample of eggs and shells to be saved so that can prove worthy enough for a free meal!!! I’m slightly pissed…

My visit 6 days ago would have gotten a wonderful review and 5 stars. BUT…this being Golden Corral, you’ve got to consider WHEN you arrive. And today(Saturday, June 27), I had my Harold Beale, Network-inspired«i’m mad as hell and I’m not going to take this anymore» moment. Okay, maybe a little dramatic, but enough is enough. I paid full price($ 13.99) for three adults and got a half-filled buffet. The store closed at 10PM; the buffet was half-empty as of 9:20 and, in reality, it was half-empty long before I arrived. The Bakery Center — completely empty. No rolls, cookies, apple or blueberry pie — nothing. The pizza station — empty. The dessert section — chocolate fountain was off; perhaps 10% of the total selection available with items pushed to one side; the pickings were slim to none. More pies and cakes available in the refrigerated cases below than available for paying customers. The breakfast section — no one at the omelette station; the eggs had a spoonful remaining. Ribs, pulled pork, various items(too many to mention) were empty on the main buffet. Full price = Half Price Buffet at 9:20PM. BUT…this is typical of SOMANY Golden Corals across the country. It’s a hit-and-miss proposition when you arrive anything within an hour of closing. Sorry, but if you’re paying FULL price you expect a FULL buffet. Half-empty doesn’t cut it. Again, no different that GC’s we’ve visited from Grapevine and Austin, TX to Allentown, PA. Again, six days earlier when arriving at 6:30PM on a Sunday, this was a 5* review. Today it gets a charitable 2*. BTW…the manager on duty did offer to comp all three meals but we declined because that wasn’t the point of complaining in the first place. His offer was VERY generous, but we did eat from what was remaining on the buffet and the manager did get the staff to start filling in some items.

STAYAWAY! Went for dinner during BBQ ribs promo. Restroom was absolutely FILTHY! No toilet paper & floors filled with empty paper rolls & tissues. Not swept or cleaned for quite some time. Had to tell management to get on it! If they can’t keep a rest room halfway clean, I wonder about their food safety practices! Food was horrid to say the least. Ribs looked all dried out & I didn’t even want to try them. Pot roast very salty(& i use salt often). Lemonade tasted like dish water & the ice tasted moldy. Rolls not cooked all the way through & you could see the raw dough. Same for the pizza — RAW! Kids could get sick on that & I told that to the waitress, but she didn’t care. 2 good things were the corn on cob & the mashed potatoes ONLY. Everything else was either super dried out, bland like hospital food & either mushy, too hard or not cooked thoroughly. I don’t know about breakfast, but don’t go for dinner. They even had the gall to keep chili out where the vat was ¼ of the way full & dried out & cracked on top like it had been sitting there for days. Again STAYAWAY!!!

Nope, never again. Food was bland, not fresh(we came an hour before closing but that should never matter). Chicken was undercooked, and I was also upset because they already broke down the chocolate fountain which I had my son excited for because we saw it as we were coming in. Such a waste of gas since we drove from sandy springs just to go there.

This was the worst restaurant i ever been. First my server was a racist, he called my little black monkey in spanish, I’m black and i speak Spanish, so i ask to speak to the manager and the spoke to bane who was horrible, how did he get a job in customer service, i told him what the server had said, he tells me he would handle it and walks off. I watch him go talk to the server and they are laughing it up, high fives fist pumps, what the hell I am watching. Never again, beware people if you have young blacks kids the servers might call them little monkeys. The server was a spanish dude tall who spoke horrible english. I will be reporting him to the right services of immigration

The restaurant is clean as was the restroom on my visit but do not see myself returning. The food was bland and desperately in need of seasoning ! While there are plenty of options to choose from All lacked Salt, Pepper, Butter or Fat. Clams in the chowder were Hard and chewy, Veggies tasted like water, Stuffing had no texture, Pot roast’ while tender, again had no Flavor. Deciding to move away from all of the meat asked what kind of «baked fish they had? It was called Y, pardon me? Y the kitchen manager replied when asked, does anyone know what that is? No». Hmm I never finished anything on my plate time to go.

I am redeeming this store since it has been peasant the last couple of times I have visited. Today, we came for breakfast and that omelet was on point!!! Omg. Luv luv luv it! What’s the point of IHOP when this baby is around? We also came in right when breakfast was turning into lunch and yay! Steak! Lol. Breakfast ends at 11am, only on Saturdays and Sundays, and it’s $ 8.89 including beverage … which I enjoyed the Orange guava something juice. Definitely one of the most affordable and satisfying breakfast/brunch buffet I have had in a long long time. I say, if u haven’t gone, check it out. They have grits, chicken fried steak, bacon, sausages, biscuit and gravy, the build-your-own omelet bar, scrambled eggs, bagels, donuts, and omg so so so much more!

No need for a long review here, it can be summed up in a few statements. I know that I am not going here for a evening of quiet talk to my wife with unique food, its a food trough with all types of vegies and meats, dodging kids running around with sharp fondue sticks with sweets on them. Since I know what to expect, they do an adequate job at it and I can’t complain or act surprised about the experience. I do have one or two suggestions, instead of putting a big bowl of pudding or cobbler out for kids to dig through, already have it served in small bowls, it would look a lot cleaner and more appetizing. Train your steak cook to recognize the doneness of meat. I don’t mind leaving a tip for the waiter, but they have to do something other than remove the dirty dishes from the previous guest.

Wow! What a food orgy! Good selection and great service. Thanks Allyson you’re a great server. Desert line was rocking! No complaints herw. Very impressed for a Saturday night. My steak was tasty and cooked to order. We had a party of 8 and they kept the plates cleared and drinks fled. Don’t believe the hater snobs. What’s not to like unless your friends are too fancy and you don’t want to be seen getting down on the buffet. If you’ve never sen a chocolate fountain, get over here and cross it off your bucket list!

Went here for lunch with some coworkers, and was very disappointed. The food on the buffet had been sitting there for a while, and a lot of it needed to be thrown out. The choices provided were bland and lack-luster. I would have had a better experience at a fast food restaurant, and saved a ton of money too! Very over priced for the quality of food. I even spoke to the manager about some of the food being old, and he acted as though he could careless. I wont go back, and have encouraged everyone at my office to follow suit.

Not all Golden Corrals are created equally. There is a Golden Corral restaurant near my current home, which is OK. I would give it 3 stars. However, the restaurant in Alpharetta in the North Point area was a refreshing change. The food was remarkably better, and the choices were a distinct improvement. I highly recommend this restaurant as an example of what the chain should provide in all locations. There were minor issues(like mislabeled trays) when I first arrived, but the manager straightened out the problem quickly. The food was cooked well, as opposed to the underdone chicken at the other location I mentioned. The barbecue pulled pork was outstanding, and the fried chicken was delicious and the meat moist. If you’re skeptical of Golden Corrals, try this one. I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised!

This was one of the worst experiences that I’ve ever had. Greasy food and loud guests. I will not be back anytime soon. I know buffets aren’t fine dining but the food and clientele here made for a lousy experience. It would have been nice if the employees could have at least spoken English.

The best pork chop I ever had for breakfast! The pork chop was tender, when I cut a piece and toss it in my mouth, as soon as it hits my taste bud I can taste the smokey grilled flavor and as I bite into it the juice flows out of this succulent piece of meat. The steak never came close to the pork chop. I was expecting the horrible old coffee I find at Waffle house or IHOP, but OMG the coffee was AWESOME! It was Starbucks and Caribou good! I couldn’t stop drinking this dark symphony in my mouth. So If I had enjoyed the food why am I rating 4 stars not 5? It’s the staff, they are by far one of thee worst I’ve seen at Golden Corral. I was not greeted when I got to my table, in fact I had to go find wait staff, I have never been to Golden Corral for breakfast so I had questions, but they treated me like I should already know and walked away. A very kind customer saw the whole thing and came over and explained the basics of how to eat breakfast at Golden Corral.

Golden Corral buffet… what can be said about it? The food, while not«outstanding» is usually tasty… and, of course, this is often about quantity! The variety is good, maybe too much… does a place like this REALLY need to serve mediocre, box type Asian food? Not in my opinion… stick to the meat and veggies… with salad bar… that make a place like this work well. Service here to me is ridiculous, you serve your own food, you go through a line to pay… but…oh wait, WE will bring you a refill… so give us our 15% tip… to me, that is a problem with the operating mechanism… pay the people…
