PREJUDICE. UNPROFESSIONAL. IGNORANT.
Gave FRANK MOYNIHAN a call regarding two apartments in JP that my parents were interested in.
This was my telephone conversation with the most unprofessional human being I have ever dealt with.
Me: «Hi Frank, I’m calling because I am interested in taking a look at two JP apartments you posted on Craigslist. I have a few questions.»
(Longggg pause)
Frank: «OKAYY?1?!1?
Me: It’s for my parents and…
Frank: «First of all why are YOU calling and THEY aren’t contacting me themselves, how are they going to answer all of MY questions?!»
Me: Well they are elderly and they don’t speak perfect English, however we can set something up for you to speak with them, I just had a few questions…
Frank: WELL THEY SHOULD SPEAK ENGLISH!
Me: Well, guess what? You live in a country that is considered a melting pot full of different cultures, whether you like it or not you have to deal with many people that do not speak perfect English. Stop being so prejudice, just a heads up I’m an educated Latina with three degrees, masters included, and yes, English is my SECOND language, and guess what? I am much more professional than you’ll ever be.
and of course he’s yelling at me while I’m telling him this, and yes I finally told him to f*** off! He went on to say very ignorant things and even called me back at work several times to continue to argue!!! Had to have my co-​worker pick up the phone!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
FYI .I REALLY don’t mind that they do not deal with third parties, COMPLETELY UNDERSTANDABLE! I work for a law firm, I am pretty aware that there are certain «rules» and «regulations», just don’t speak to someone as if they are worthless! He could’ve simply (and nicely) mentioned «sorry we do not deal with 3^rd parties» That’s all!

Paul Linder is the most unprofessional agent I’ve ever come across, and I’m in finance so that’s saying a lot. My cousin from Brazil was looking to rent and scheduled an appointment to see a property with him. She had to cancel the night before, because (who cares why, life happens) and he literally cursed her out on the phone the following morning saying «f— you for wasting my time» and, calling her (insert all sorts of obscenities) to make matters worse for the past week he’s been calling her obsessively from restricted numbers, nonstop, all hours of the day and night. I’m one step away from calling the police. I’ve encountered some loser rental agents, but this one takes the cake. BEWARE of this agency and Paul Linder, phone number 617−278−4968

Avoid these people at all costs! I was searching for an apartment and sent money for a deposit on an apartment. The application was never completed because another renter took the apartment. I asked for my deposit to be returned over a week ago, and after telling me they would they have yet to take any action. They are also refusing to respond to my repeated requests. These people are sketchy, and behave like crooks. Avoid them.

A terrible company! A man called me after I put in a request on Zillow for an apartment to contact me. He wouldn’t give me the information to the apartment complex so I could contact them myself and was extremely rude to me on the phone. So I called his company directly since he called me from his cell phone, and the man who answered the phone and claimed to be the owner was rude! It’s a small band of unprofessional and uncouth people. Stay far away if possible.

I had the pleasure of working with Ilidio during the purchase of my first home as he was representing a seller. As someone who works in the banking industry I know communication is a big part of real estate and Ilidio did an extremely great job at communicating with my realtor throughout the process, whether he needed something or the other way around. I would refer him for anyone looking to sell, buy or rent any property. Very knowledgeable and passionate about his craft!

Joe from Prestige was our real estate agent for when we bought our first house this summer. As first time homebuyers we trusted Joe to help us with every step of the process. He did not disappoint! We could ask him any questions at any time and would get a very quick response. He would show us a house the same day it was listed with no reservations. Joe explained and re-​explained everything we needed him to and we are very lucky to have had him working with us. Thank you, Joe! We wouldn’t be in our home without you!

I am writing this review not only as a happy client but as a former employee.
Paul, although rough around the edged (as he’s worked in the industry for more than 20 years), was one of the best bosses I’ve ever had. He’s very straight forward no BS, and took a chance with me early on in my career. I couldn’t be happier for what he and his team have done for me in terms of guiding, teaching, and just overall being fun to be around for the work day.
Couldn’t be happier — definetly consider them if you’re trying to break into the industry!

I am updating my previous review below. When we arrived the place did not have the features advertised and was not appropriately cleaned. When I notified the realty company I got no response. Also agent reported that all people in building had pets but when we arrived the manager was very strict about a no pets policy. Concerns regarding false advertising…

I had spent months reaching out to craigslist ads and realtors getting no response or brief follow through only to fall apart in the end or be a scam. I finally got in touch with Jamison through a craigslist ad and he was great at keeping in contact and was willing to schedule a showing with our friend as we were doing a remote rental. He was great at working with us and answering any questions we had, all long distance.

Very rude agents. Dealt with a Jamison who ended up being very snarky and rude in his emails. Would not recommend.

Worst Experience Ever! DO NOT use this Realty group/​company… Went to see an apartment that was filthy and looked like it hadnt been cleaned in years. Before seeing the place Yoni informed us that the kitchen was newly renovated; very hard to believe since the tile was lifting, cabinets were chipped, paint on the wall was peeling. We told Yoni that we werent interested in a collegestyle/​dorm room apartment but we were willing to up the cost to $ 1600−2k he said he had nothing available because we had a cat and that if we weren’t willing to get rid of our cat he wouldn’t help us locate a proper apartment, we were a bit shocked and declined to get rid of the cat. He instantly turned the switch. He insisted he drive us to the showing of the apartment then decided he was only going to drive my boyfriend and I half way back after we told him the apartment was what we weren’t looking for (we are looking for a nice place before we buy a house) and made us walk the rest of the way in 90 degree weather, My bf and I were confused and said so you cant drive us the rest of the way. I called the office and explained everything that had happened and Peter the supposed «owner» and «office manager» said that he didnt know what to tell me and that I obviously wasn’t giving the full story! Very unprofessional response. I see why they have so many 1 star reviews !!

Caio was very kind and accommodating in helping me find my apartment. Even though the first few apartments we saw weren’t to my liking, Caio located some better options and even went so far as to visit an apartment and send me videos when I was out of town.

Very positive experience: Daniel was a delight to work with. He is knowledgeable, honest, upfront, and very hard working. He showed us places that best suit our tastes. He took us around town showing us numerous apartments in the pouring rain… on a weekend! Need an place fast? I highly recommend giving Daniel a call.

I didn’t have a good experience with Prestige. It was such a waste of my time.
I started searching in March for a place for September. I called one of the agents and scheduled a showing. On the day before the showing, I called the agent again to confirm. He didn’t pick up. Then I received a text saying that he’s sick. I understand that people get sick. But I would have appreciated if I was given a notice. I was out of town for 3 weeks. When I contacted the same agent after I was back, no answer.
I then called 3 other agents at this place to schedule something. No one picked up or called back.
I finally just went to their office. I told the person 3 properties that I wanted to check out. We scheduled an appointment for the following weekend. Only one property was shown to me. The guy told me one place is no longer available, the manager of the other did not respond. He had a week to arrange these showings. I should have been informed if the places I wanted to check out weren’t available before the day of the showing.
They wasted a lot of my time. The time that I could have used with some other company to find a place. Not OK.

I worked with Joe and had a great experience. He was very helpful in my apartment search and gave me detailed explanations about the apartments I looked at including access to public transportation, how the landlord was like, and proximity to grocery stores. I plan to work with Joe and Prestige Rental Solutions the next time I’m looking for a place.

I replied to a Craigslist rental listing that was under the ‘no-​fee’ category. I received a reply from Paul with a number of ‘questions,’ the last of which was:
«5.there is a 1 month finders fee paid by YOU if u choose to rent the apt.»
It felt like a classic bait-​and-​switch rental listing, offering no-​fees to attract business, then demanding fees. This dovetails with N.B.‘s review as well. I’d stay away.

We worked with Debbie and found her very helpful with finding our brookline apartment. We decided right away that we wanted to rent the apartment and Debbie took the quick and necessary steps to do that. A few months later we wanted to go back and take measurements, and Debbie set that up for us as well.

I’m done with this company.
We have tried working with this company on three separate occasions. My fiancé and I were shown an apartment the first time that had water stains and was a complete disaster so we decided to pass on it. The second time we were shown an apartment they could not give us a date of when the move in would be.
However this last time is the final straw! We worked with Richard. First off this employee has no manners and does not know how to greet customers. We met him at an apartment and he just walked by us without even saying hello. I had to yell out to him to ask if he was the realtor. We went up and this time my fiancé and I were in love with the apartment. We wanted to put in an application right away. Richard agreed to not have a fee when we were at the apartment but somehow forgot that he told us that. He didn’t communicate well and the information he told us changed from time to time.
This company has wasted my time and I’m not planning on using them in the future.

I was refused service by Drew because I have a small dog. Seriously? I have lived in two different apartments in Boston that accepted dogs. I was in the market for a May 1 or June 1 rental.
I had called a Realtor at Prestige Rentals at around 2pm on Friday. He called me back at either 6pm or 7pm and had no phone manners whatsoever… he was quite gruff and interrupted me while I was speaking. He said «Let me stop you right there» when I mentioned we were looking for a place that would accept my 5 pound Pomeranian.
He was the rudest realtor I had spoken to all day and I had been on the phone with 4 others. I’m not too disappointed that he refused to help us because he didn’t seem like he would be pleasant to work with anyways. Sounded like he needs anger management or he is the regular at the bar who everyone avoids.
He had me send him an email with my information that evening. Monday he emails me saying «our landlords don’t accept dog. Sorry I can’t help».
So, I was basically refused service because I have a small dog.

I worked with Joseph and he was AMAZING! He was very accommodating! I had an appointment prior to the one with him with another company — she was awful! Made me drive to the properties, lost keys, didn’t have keys to some places and was taking trash about the other ‘finders’
Joseph was great! He took me to see two apartments and I fell in love with one of them. He showed me places well with in my price range and exactly where I wanted to be. I am relocating so I’m not completely familiar with the area — but he was more than happy to fill me in.
He even arranged a second showing and I was able to talk to the current tenants and get some pointers. He also referred me to a parking space and was very professional with all the paperwork!
I would definitely recommend Prestige — especially Joseph — and intend to use them again if I am looking for a bigger space in the future!

I cannot say better things about working with Paul & Prestige Rental Solutions. Moving back to Boston, I knew the area, but did not know anything about apartment searching. I set up an appointment with Paul (he did a great job of marketing himself and you knew he was coming to the showing by the artwork on his car) and he showed me a place I really liked and the rest is history.
If you are new to the city or looking for a new place, I highly recommend using Prestige Rental Solutions.
