AWOL is straight up the best sneaker and clothing store in Allston-​Brighton, if not Boston all together. They always have fresh gear, and the newest selection of hats, sneakers, and other street wear. The guys that own this shop are real cool and down to earth! Last time in, I copped a pair of Air Max 90s and a Crooks and Castle T-​Shirt.
They have all of the connections with the best brands out there.

They provide a good selection at decent prices. Customer service is non existent, maybe it was a bad day. I walked in wasn’t even acknowledge even though the place is small. I still ended up purchasing the sneakers I was looking for but this place has to step up its customer service.

Allston’s best sneaker shop for so many years now. Roger, Peter, manny, and the whole crew are very knowledgeable about fashion, release dates, limited edition kicks, everything. Great selection of designers from 10 deep to crooks to absolute and society clothing.

This store is legit. I get complimented on my clothing a lot because I pay attention to what I wear. I like to find outlandish bananas all over print shirts. I got one here that has a picture of a chick wearing sunglasses and inside of the sunglasses there’s a girl getting sexed and a girl doing drugs. It’s wild. I bought it and rocked it a few times and people couldn’t get enough of it.
People are pretty loyal to their local «urban street wear» store but that’s because the people who run it are buying the kinds of things they like. In my case this place has what I’m looking for. Pictures of chicks bent over with their asses hanging out of juicy thongs with west coast written below the picture is what I’m looking for. Check this place out. The staff is friendly and there’s some pretty amazing stuff there. I got a hoodless sweatshirt with giant bullets on it. I love it.

I’m a fan of A.W.O.L because they carry a lof of brands that I like and the cool staff. Rogue Status, 10xDeep, Kilo, Supra, Alife, Evisu, etc. Some of this stuff is pretty hard to find elsewhere in Boston. The store is small but there are lots to look at. I feel comfortable sitting here, chatting, and trying on stuff. I never thought I would live to see a day when Allston would have such a cool store but it makes sense, y’know? On that note, their stuff is not suitable for everyone. They carry some shirts that can be considered edgy and maybe even a little bit offensive. There are also a lot of insider themes and jokes on their clothing that not everyone will get. For me, I love their choices and I always try to stop by when I’m in the area.

AWOL gets 4 stars from me, because they are the only shop in town that carries FUCT gear. Their gear is awesomely offensive. My girlfriend and Mom hate when I wear it… and? FUCT gear is a throwback to my youth. My friend was on their skate team, back in the day and they would give us tons of free promo gear. We would fill up a U-​haul and go to Phish shows around the country and make bank. they also have a lot of 10-​deep, L.R.G. and Akomplice. They have a decent selection of kicks, but nothing really exclusive and i’m a big fan of anything exclusive. The owners are pretty cool too. I party with them sometimes, but I think they just wanna sip on my kool-​aide, because I got it like that.

Went there the first time the other day after coming out of soul fire. I was surprised that allston had a sneaker boutique. As i was feeling extra trendy that day i decided to peruse they’re fine selection of goods.
I saw a ton of AF1s and some high life sneaks along with some good hoodies and expensive tshirts and some funky cut jeans. I have been looking for that special pattern hoddie for a while but this place just like all the others didn’t have anything to catch my eye.
Towards the back i saw a sweet clearance rack wtih some sneaks and a pile of clothes. I got a pair of supras for 40% off which made them semi reasonably priced.

I peeped they’re website and its empty just like the soul of this store. They didn’t have any music playing nor where the kids behind the counter very helpful.

AWOL is just plain awesome. First off they sell Nikes and Alife sneaks and are the only store in Allston to do so to date. They also have an awesome variety of Gravis and Supra sneakers. I wouldn’t go there to buy clothes for myself, the girl’s wear doesn’t have much to offer. They recently pimped up the store and made the shoe displays just totally sweet. The shoes are affordable and the employees are attentive. Plus the sign out front is so hip.

Let me start off by saying their staff is awesome!
Ladies, they only carry 10. deep, i personally think 10. deep is a really boring brand for chicks. For some reason, AWOL is carrying their «Runnin’ Sh*t» tshirt right now, and it’s a tee with a guy on a racehorse on it. So stupiddddd. lol. I looked at it and was like, omgg, take this shit off the rack.
I personally like flashy guys and AWOL has flashy gear for guys! Artful dodger hoodies on sale for like $ 60. LRG…10.deep… Lots of bright colors and animal print. I think it’s cute. whatevs.
AWOL will start carrying Nikes again in April of 2008 when they get their Nike license, or whatever it is. Go back April of 08 and be impressed !

I came here specifically for a pair of sneakers that I called to confirm they had and they carried. The employees were extremely helpful and not pushy or pretentious like some other kick carryin places in Boston are known to be.
Cute T-​shirts a ton of sneakers. You won’t find any $ 700 rainbow Nike’s here.
Just another boutique that caters to Urban sneaker wearin, T-​shirt lovin Bostonians.
As a matter of fact, don’t come here if you LOVE your «super cool no-​one else has kicks.» This isn’t the place. It is for people like me that think I am super cool, because «at least I didn’t buy them from Lady Footlocker.»
