The BLT was good. For $ 6 for half a sub it’s not bad. I’m not sure I’d come here on purpose though. I was looking to go to the Nosher-Rye and didn’t realize it shut down. Given the choice, I’d still go to Ike’s or Casa Del Sole or Lotito’s though.

Because everything is customizable, this place is pretty much delicious in every way. Lots of different types of meats, cheeses and veggies. Everything is very fresh and the staff is friendly as well. Quick and easy for lunch or dinner. Tip: Get the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with pepperoni. You won’t be disappointed.

I was working in Allendale for the day and Unilocaled looking for a nearby deli to pick up a sandwich to bring back to the site. Nothing nearby popped up so I jumped in the car and headed to the recently renovated and expanded A&P Plaza on W Allendale Avenue thinking I might find a small mom & pop Italian deli. I passed Village Pizza & Pasta(a place I’ve been to many times for a quick sit-down lunch) and saw a Starbucks but no deli other than Blimpie on the side of the plaza closest to the TD Bank(behind ABG). I ordered a 6 inch Blimpie Best and picked up a small bag of chips and a Snapple.. Total was just shy of $ 8 which was fair. The place was clean as a whistle and I was in and out in about 2 minutes. Food was standard Blimpie fare — serviceable — nothing more nothing less, although I found the roll to be more airy than I’ve had at other Blimpie outlets. I would return, although I’d be open to other options as well.
