History

Established in 1986.

Since opening his practice in 1986, Dr. Toney has logged over 500 hundred hours of continuing education, so he can provide a level of care that meets the highest standards of excellence. His dedication has distinguished him among his patients and his peers. He is one of fewer than 10-​percent of US dentists to be named a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Dr. David Toney was raised with his two brothers in a blue-​collar suburb of Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1978 with a bachelor of science degree in biology and a minor in psychology. In 1982 he entered Baylor College of Dentistry and graduated in 1986 with a doctor of dental surgery degree. That same year, he established his practice in Allen, Texas.

He has accumulated more than 500 hours of continuing education in subjects such as cosmetic dentistry, infection control, patient comfort, customer service, oral surgery, endodontics (root canals), periodontics (gum therapy), implants, temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD), and orthodontics. In 2005, he became accredited as a fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Toney’s practice in Allen is modeled after his love for people, his desire to serve others, his commitment to excellence, and, most of all, his passion to honor God with his life.
