Ming’s Acupuncture / Dr. Zhao

I have felt severe chest pains for the past several months. As soon as I felt the pains, I would rush immediately to the ER and I’ve had many medical exams performed — Chest X-​Ray, Electrocardiogram, Stress Tests, etc. I was also offered pain relief, which, unfortunately, was only temporary. Many of the doctors and physicians that I’ve seen were unsure of what to diagnose me with — I wasn’t having any symptoms of a heart attack, especially at my age, and without drinking or smoking — I showed no signs of heart-​related issues.
My mom referred me to look into acupuncture with Dr. Zhao. He is incredibly knowledgeable in his field and I feel he genuinely cares for his patients. I went in one night after work (His office was already closed, but he insisted on waiting for me to come in, because I was feeling sharp chest pains all day at work). When I went in, I sat down with him, and he asked me how I was feeling and to describe my pains to him. As he listened, he inserted a needle in my wrist — and I swear, it felt like magic!!! I didn’t feel any discomfort in my chest, it just all went away, instantly! I was so shocked that he could read my expression on my face — I even told him, I felt like it was magic! All those days and nights of feeling pain was instantly gone, even for a few short moments!
Dr. Zhao diagnosed me with a virus in my nerves, due to a sinus infection I had that lasted for three weeks earlier this year. I have been going once a week for ten weeks now. The herbal medicine and acupuncture treatments have helped me significantly. I haven’t felt any discomfort or chest pains after week 2 of going to see him. I am very fortunate to have found Dr. Zhao. I never really trust western medicine, I just ignore my pain most of the time, until I got friend’s referral to Dr Zhao, I see huge improvements after one month 4 visits to Dr Zhao, my pains are all gone. I have had quite extensive health issues in which I have had to take numerous medications, many of which were quite toxic. As a result my body has endured multiple side effects. I had gone to Dr. Zhao to help to subdue my kidney disease, as well as, to rid of the toxins that western medicine has caused. He was extremely accommodating with the treatment plan, and always informed me of what he was going to do next. Thus far, the treatments have been going well, and I have much more energy and strength than what I have felt in the past.

It is very fortunate to find Dr. Ming Zhao after knowing the Western medicine could not provide specific treatment for my health condition. Dr. Zhao is very kind, polite; he always patiently answered my questions to reduce my concern. I have been taking the herbal formula that prescribed by Dr. Zhao for the past three months and starts to notice my body has some positive improvement. It’s so important to find doctor who is sincere, honest and understanding like him.

I was diagnosed with endometriosis and 5 cm size of ovarian cyst on both ovary in 2008, my OBGYN Dr had operated an endoscopic surgery to remove the cysts. Unfortunately the cysts grew back the following year with size 3 cm. I was horrified of doing a surgery again!!! So I went for TCM, and I found Dr Zhao, I was seeing him twice a week, and taking his herb for 3 months. Went back for ultrasound, the cysts were gone!!! My OB Dr asked me what I have done?! I am so grateful that I don’t need to go back for surgery. The cysts does come back every 1 – 2 years but I now am not afraid anymore because I know I can always get the amazing herb from Dr Zhao.

During the span of two years I experienced chronic stress over trying to find relief for my daughter’s eczema (an itchy skin rash). My daughter suffered with eczema on 80% of her body. I took her to many Western M.D.‘s with little to no improvement. I decided to try other approaches and took her to several holistic doctors and still very little changed. As a result of the stress and anguish of not being able to help my little girl, I developed an eczema-​like rash on my arms.

I attribute it to the acupuncture treatments and herbs I was given. I was so impressed with my progress that I asked Dr. Zhao if he would help my daughter resolve her skin condition as well. Without hesitation he said I should bring her in. He began treating my daughter with herbs and we gradually saw her skin transform before our eyes. All the while he was patient as he counseled us on proper nutrition. His reminders for me not to worry were the extra support that I needed during the journey.
It has been a little over a year and I can truly say his treatments have changed our lives. The days of my daughter itching for 45 minutes before bed each night as I held her feeling helpless– are gone. We have our lives back. Now I have an energetic daughter excited for each day and I have Dr. Zhao to thank for this.
What I can honestly say about Dr. Zhao is that he is incredibly knowledgeable in his field, he has a calming personality and genuinely cares about his patients.
