Bought a green tea Mille crêpe cake and mango Mille crêpe. The green tea was way too bitter and the mango was sweet like a mousse cake! Never eating here again

Little swan bakery has the best almond cheese cake!
We picked one up for my wife’s birthday and everyone liked it. The cake comes in an elegant box and they also provide candles and serving utensil. 5 stars

Bruh! I thought i was in Inglewood for a sec! A cashier with ponytail wearing glasses walked into me and gave me that «wtf r u looking at!» look. And don’t even bother to apologize? Ghetto.
Milk Tea is the bomb tho bruh!

I got their pineapple bun and red beach bun. Both very delicious even over night. Their red bean bun had just enough red bean paste. It wasn’t too much or too little. I love pineapple buns in general but usually its very dense but not theirs. It was airy and light. Very enjoyable.

The only thing I love about this place is the durian crêpe cake. If you like durian, you will LOVE this cake! Perfectly done, not too sweet or rich, delicious!

Tried several items this time. Green Tea Cream Puff ($ 0.85) was actually quite decent/​kinda good.
Japanese Cheesecake ($ 2.60/slice) was very soft. Kinda sorta liked it.
Taro Bun ($ 1.80) was kinda good. Also like Oh My Pan’s & 85。C’s taro bun. Coffee bun was not bad. Not so sure I like the filling though.
Mango Crêpe Cake is now $ 6/slice…I’m sad :(
Overall, like this place cuz they have several items l enjoy.

I’ve always been a fan of wife cakes since I was growing up; and I was always led to believe that the best ones were up in San Franciso. Every single time we went up North, I would always look happily when it came to shoving a wife cake down my mouth. The taste was just so amazing and my taste buds were just set afrenzy. I alway thought the best wife cakes were found up North but I have found a place to satisify my wife cake cravings down in SoCal.
This brings us to Little Swan Bakery in San Gabriel, the bread is so so, I’ve had a couple from here and it’s a hit or miss on some of them. It’s your typical asian style bread that you can find in any bakery. The one thing that is really the gem of this bakery is the wife cakes. They are small, cheap and just taste amazing. I’ve tried wife cakes down in SGV but they never tasted homemade or fresh; all of them were already prepackaged and just tasted disapointing. The best part is that Swan’s wife cakes are only 60 $ a cake, so it’s much cheaper then compared to other places.
These wife cakes taste the best when they are freshly baked. So warm and soft, each bite just makes you want to eat another one and because they are so small, it’s hard to resist. Overall bread is okay, but definitely come for the wife cakes because you won’t regret it!

I always come here whenever I’m in the area (about once a month) and I have to say Little Swan is a great alternative to the over rated 85° yes their breads are a tiny bit pricier but the breads here are really good, there’s always a good selection AND they have really good unique items like Pumpkin Buns & Nutella Beignets (sp?) Customer service is good very friendly employees and the best part no crowds or long wait for specific bread (well stocked all the times including a time chart so you know how fresh the bread is I’ve been here) 4 stars for being a solid option for another bakery in the area.

Place has significantly improved since opening. I haven’t seen the nasty staff I previously wrote about so I’m assuming management made some staff changes. I’ve been in a few times now and the staff has improved so much, they’re attentive and look like they actually want to be at work, weather it be a fake smile or not (I know retail can be hard with dumb customers) Thumbs up to management for properly training the new staff.
Oh and the cream puffs are bomb, they’re what I always come back for :]

Out of all their pastries I’d tried. The best one is their pineapple cake, blueberry cake, and Japanese cheesecake is really good. Texture is so soft and fluffy. It doesn’t taste that sweet either.

This Little Swan Bakery is a good alternative to the infamous 85° Bakery. Little Swan isn’t nearly as hectic and their breads here are made fresh! I’ve been here several times already, I every time I’ve been coming; the bread is fresh, the coffee is flavorful, and the servers are always nice and smiley… just the way I like it. Now that they recently implemented the Five Stars Network point system app to receive freebies or discounts from points earned, I’ll be coming more often.
Just a few things I’ve tried, I really enjoy their pineapple buns. It’s huge and fluffy, while it’s warm and soft… and the aroma from the bun calls my name! Well, of course a bit exaggerated… but it’s one of the best I’ve tried when it’s fresh. I also like their Don Tats (egg custard). It’s oval in shape for some reason, because they’re usually round. Anyhow, it also tastes delicious. It should also be served warm for it to taste the best because of its creamy centered custard. Other items I’ve tasted was the raisin bread… which is okay. The texture seemed a bit more dense rather then it being fluffy and light. Maybe it’s because the bread wasn’t as fresh. I also like the lotus seed wife cake.. yes, wife cake! It’s called «lo po beng» in Chinese. It does sound a bit corny… and I don’t know how they got that name. I asked my mom and my grandma a long time ago, my mom still doesn’t know, but my grandma once said it was originated in the villages of China that women always prepared and baked it for their families during special occasions. The wife cake is heavy and rich, similar to a Dunkin Stick concept, except the ingredients consists of lotus paste and a brown crusty exterior that’s baked. It’s round shaped and probably the size of a cookie. Eating one off those can fill you up because it’s so rich tasting. I’m sure the wife cake packs alot of calories. But it tastes really good, and you might want to order a coffee our tea to help wash it down.
I do like this place, and will definitely come back. It’s located in the plaza with a huge parking lot. But parking there could be hectic at times, but still bearable unlike the Focus Plaza.

I dropped by Little Swan Bakery on the way to visit my grand auntie. I wanted to bring some goodies when I visited.
The bakery isn’t any different than your usual Asian bakery. There are trays, parchment paper, and tongs for you to pick out your desired baked goods. When are ready to pay at the register, they bag your buns.
I noticed that they had signs for when the buns went in the display and what time they should be removed. Some buns were in their past their sell by time…
The baked goods are overpriced compared to other bakeries in the SGV.
The bread and buns were kind of ok, nothing special to write home about. I also got charged for the price of wife cakes when I actually got red bean cakes.
I think they accepted credit card with a minimum purchase. The workers seemed nice and polite.

Simply one of the best bakeries to ever be around my area!
Pastries: Depending on what time you come, its a hit or miss for freshness. Of course. if you come in the morning, the bread is fresh and baked to perfection whereas if you come in before closing, its not as fresh but also not rock hard like a hockey puck. I’ve come in both occasions and I have to say that the morning Asian pastry run is the way to go. I usually get a few pastries if I am about to head out and I don’t have time to make breakfast. By the way. if you get pastries, you need a green tea latte to go with it.
Drinks: Not the place to go if you want milk tea, boba, etc. This is a bakery focused on making pastries so naturally, the drinks are just there to supplement the menu. Either way, the drinks are pretty darn good. I only get the hot drinks here and my go-​to drink is the green tea latte and milk tea.
Why the minus star? Because the service is inconsistent. Sometimes I would come here and be greeted by the nicest guy/​gal and then the nice time I come here, I’m greeted by a older women with grouch on her face. I came in one day and I was rushing since I had to get a last minute birthday cake. The guy was completely understanding and he helped me choose a cake and my friend loved it. He was all smiles which I highly appreciated it. On the other hand, I came in a week after and a older woman bagged my pastries as if she hated it.
Overall: Come here if you enjoy pastries but do keep in mind the service.

Carbs!
I love carbs. This place is similar to 85 degree bakery in its uniqueness in what they sell. I got 2 of the pork sung bread. 1 green tea cream puff which was really good. Green tea was spot on. Great whipped cream texture. It was actual cream and not custard like (not into custard like cream because it’s NOT whipped cream).
I also saw things like vanilla crêpe cakes (5 stars!)
I just wish they sold more traditional buns like the pineapple bun. They have the bun that is similar with a white top but I like the yellow topped pineapple bun. They also have their own spin of egg tart which was rectangular shaped. As much as I love egg tarts, I took a look at the oddly shaped ones and decided not to get it. It just makes me think it won’t taste as good because it doesn’t look like the original… but that’s just me
If you love 85, you’ll love this place. And it’s so close! So I’ll probably come here again if I ever want some pork sung! They also offer fresh juices which my friend claims is really good. So try it out!

Love their Durian Crêpe Layered Slice Cake! Soooo super yummy & flavorful!!! Very moist & makes me so happy w/​each bite!
Their Vanilla Cream Puffs is such a great price (50cents each!) so wonderful for it’s size & taste. I just want to eat 10 at a time!
Chocolate Cream Puffs were pretty good too.
Green Tea Cream Puffs were «Bleh”/Yuk to me. Filling was too strong, bitter and overwhelming.
I am a big pastry fan & it was totally tempting for me inside this bakery as I wanted to grab some of everything.
Big shopping center to park at. (& it’s right next to Rite Aid to grab Ice Cream!)

You can tell the owner truly cares about customer satisfaction when she takes her time responding back to feedback & concerns.
My boyfriend and I are fans of their nutella crêpe cakes, so when we stopped by 4 times in a row, on different days, and they did not have it each consecutive time, it left us very disappointed. I even called them one afternoon inquiring about its availability before I drove over, but was given an unclear answer.
This prompted me to update my review and to deduct stars. However, I do not believe that the deduction of stars was the reason they reached out to me. I truly felt that they sincerely and wholeheartedly wanted to make things right. The owner was very apologetic and explained what was going on with regards to the nutella crêpe cake. She did not have to do this, but it was very generous of her to offer me a whole crêpe cake (any flavor except for nutella).
Let me tell you, I am beyond impressed with their customer service! I really like how they value and take advice from their customers to become better. The mango crêpe cake that I received was so beautifully made and it was surprisingly very delicious! My family liked it very much. As for my boyfriend and I, the nutella one is still our #1 favorite. The mango one was a little too heavy crème for me, BUT! It doesn’t mean that I won’t order it next time :)
I highly recommend trying their crêpe cakes. They are different from other cakes and are very delicious :)

New bakery in town?!
This bakery is as good as 85C bakery! The bread and the quality of it is great! so fresh and soft and lots of different variety of bread that you usually don’t see at the regular bakery. They also have very beautiful cakes on displays. They have cream puffs for 50 cents each with different flavors, vanilla, green tea and something else…
The bakery is very clean and neat. Upon entering, you are greeted with a smile. To the left is all the bread and to the right are seats where you can enjoy your bread and a drink.
There was so many different bread to choose from that I did not know which one to get. I ended up getting the snow mountain, pineapple bread, donut holes, beignet (nutella), pork sung bread, cocktail bread, garlic bread and the 20 layer nutella crêpe cake.
I mostly had a bite of almost all of it. Each one of the bread is very good! This is my new favorite bakery and I can’t wait to come back to try the chocolate toast and other bread that they have! Check them out! They have 15% off you entire purchase! Thats awesome.

I came here because when they first opened, there was a big sign outside hanging that said 15% off! So I figured. why not? I went in picked up a few items. Prices do not include 15% off.
Snow Mountain Bun ($ 1.00) — Light milky bun with a milk custard over the top. It tastes OK. It actually looks better than it taste. Somewhat bland, I wish the custard on top was a bit sweeter.
Green Tea Cream Puff ($.85) — They have cream, chocolate cream, and green tea cream. I really enjoyed the green tea cream puff. It tasted very good and the green tea flavoring was light and subtle and not overwhelming. The cream puff itself had a nice texture as it didn’t break or collapse on the first bite.
Green Milk Tea (L $ 2.99) — Surprisingly, this is one of my favorite spots to get a green milk tea now. The price is VERY reasonable and it tastes REALLY good to me. Perfect amount of tea and cream, not overly sweet or bitter. Their boba here is also very fresh as they keep it in the warmer and typically throw it out when it gets hard. The only annoying thing is that they haven’t figured out that this is their MOST POPULAR drink yet and don’t seem to make enough. That’s three times now they were sold out when I came in.
Definitely try out the green tea cream puff and milk green tea! Price is reasonable, service is good, ample parking, and don’t forget your free stamp card!

Their green milk tea is delicious and is affordable but they’re always sold out. The last time we came here they were sold out of milk green tea and milk tea! I guess we should call ahead of time so we don’t waste our time and gas. :(
I also got mango thousand layer crêpe which is delicious as well! It’s a bit pricy at $ 5 per slice.
I love that they have a stamp card for their drinks and when you get 10 stamps you get 1 free drink.

Got myself a large iced milk green tea with boba — delicious! Originally, it’s $ 2.99 and I ended up paying $ 2.54, yay!
The green milk tea is not overly sweet and got a generous amount of boba. Loved that she gave me a lot of boba with a small amount of ice, yessss! Will definitely be coming back here for the drinks, especially if we continue having this wacky hot/​cold bi — polar weather.
