Kind and Total Health System

So. My parents were REJECTED FROM THE CLINIC because apparently they didn’t have insurance. They did. Blue Shield’s representatives CALLED THE OFFICE TO TELL THEM THAT IT WAS A MISTAKE and that their policy was still valid, and the receptionist said that the insurance company was lying to them and that there was nothing to be done.
My parents are actively looking for a new doctor now. No one should ever come here.

Dr. Gordon Wong is a very caring doctor. I’ve taken my parents to various doctors already but none of them as caring like Dr. Wong. He would provide my mom medication with no charge when my dad lost his job and couldn’t afford insurance. He gave my mom enough medications to last her until she got Medicare. He diagnosed my dad’s illness when the previous doctor and the hospital weren’t able to. He would order lab tests and/​or any kind of tests based on your complaint or illness. The office will contact you ASAP if there’s any abnormally. His office always trying to accommodate you if you need to see him. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The office accept all kinds of insurance regardless if PPO or HMO. Thanks to Dr. Wong and his wife who provide the best care toward my parents all these years.

Rude receptionist and office staff. Dr. Doesn’t wash his hands between patients or use anti-​bac either. My husband needed a refill on his meds and the office refused to send the prescription directly to the pharmacy. We drove over to get the prescription and the receptionist snapped at my husband to «sign in and sit down» — 3 times. She didn’t even say hello. She let him leave without the RX rather than simply grab the RX and pass it through the window. Switching doctors. Seems they forgot the KIND IN Kind and Total. Not so sure about the TOTAL either.

Dr. Gordon Wong is a very smart businessman. He may not be a very good doctor who would care for his patients but he knows what gets him pay. If you have money and a good insurance that pays him well then he can get your prescription. But if you are like my parents who are in need of medical care and does not have quality insurance, Dr. Wong will suggest that you go to the emergency room. He does not need to waste his time for a low quality insurance patient. Because of this reason, my parents now have more complications with their health and thus, force to switch doctors. Hopefully you have a backup doctor for second opinions or if you are a business major you should definitely train under this doctor if you want to get ahead and worship money as your God.

The minute I met Dr. Wong, I knew he was the doctor I’ve been searching for my whole life. I’ve had bad doctors, mediocre ones, and a few decent ones, but none like Dr. Wong. Dr. Wong is different. He genuinely cares about his patients, but that’s not what I find the most important. Dr. Wong is really smart and keeps himself updated with current medical knowledge. His knowledge combined with his willingness to take his patients seriously and his proactive approach is the ultimate combination of what makes a good doctor.
Prior to seeing Dr. Wong, I’ve been to several doctors who did not take my symptoms seriously even though I’ve had the symptoms for several months. Nobody recommended any possible diseases or reasons for my symptoms. None suggested that I run certain tests. None explained to me the pros and cons of the medications prescribed. Dr. Wong was the first doctor who truly took my symptoms seriously. He suggested several problems that could be causing my symptoms and actually spent substantial time figuring out what the underlying cause is. This is rare because most doctors would rush and just prescribe antibiotics without actually trying to help you figure out the cause.
Dr. Wong also makes himself available to his patients through his office message system. This fosters communication and allows for resolutions of emergency situations.
I would highly recommend him.

Is impossible to make an appt for a busy husband! Office doesn’t have a police for no-​show appoitment cancelation fee that makes it harder for the patient. After his first vaccine my husband was waiting for a call to get his second and last vaccine appt but no call after two months. We finally decided to call and see if we can make an appt but receptionist Lupe (how she identify her self) stayed that «only the patient has to call and make the appt» because many people were calling on behalf of other and they didn’t show up for their appt and they are waisting their time fullling up the files and the patient doesn’t show up. I understood that point but I explainded that my husband had a hectic job and he doesn’t have time to make an appt plus I made appts before and he always shows to his appt. She kept saying that its impossible. I tried to speak with office manager to see if she can understand my point but she came back saying that office manager is very busy and doesn’t have the time to talk to me for this matter. !!!Unbelievable!!! Finish my call asking for office managers name and LUPE only gave me the name Anny I asked tha last name and she said that there is only one Anny and I dont need to know the last name but anyways her last name is Wong. VERY VERY unprofessional! I don’t know if doctor Gordon Wong has too many patients and that is why office employees are very rude or it was just a bad day for them. After reading all the comments above we are not calling Dr Wong again and the whole family is changing to a different Doctor were they appreciate our business and care about their patients.

I’ve been to many doctors before since I was young and very few of them actually seem like they really cared about what was happening to me. They was just doing their job. They would ask question but every thing seems formal and made it hard to ask questions. They want you to just except what they say without any questions.
Dr. Wong is very different. I had another doctor before I switches over. He is currently the doctor for my grandmother and when I took her to see him I could see that he actually cared about his patients. He took the time to explain and took the time to answer questions instead of rushing to the next patient. After seeing this I immeditately switched over. The care here is one of the best I’ve had.

I used to never visit the doctor’s office. I thought an apple a day kept the doctor away and indeed, I rarely ever got sick.
That is, until the end of last year, when suddenly, I felt like I got hit by a freight train. Instead of getting sick like maybe once every three years, I got sick three times in three months… I’ve never felt so close to death. Maybe it was because I had stopped eating apples for awhile, but regardless it was time to see the doc.
I found this place based on a friend’s recommendation. Despite being located on Main Street, the office is somewhat obscure because of the small entrance. Parking has never been a problem; oftentimes I park right in front of the office.
Dr. Wong is very knowledgeable and caring. He does everything by the book and gives his patients the time they need. A little known fact is he is also an attorney at law.
Moreover, when Dr. Wong is busy helping others, his wife Annie is a RN who fills in the gap. Annie is also very caring and has spent a considerable amount of time with me explaining various medical jargon and discussing my health and life in general.
She also lectures me about my eating habits because she knows that I know better but am too much in love with my taste for certain foods/​drinks.
I haven’t been sick since my first visit with them and I actually look forward to going to the doctor’s office now for preventative check ups.

The doctor is patient and wiling to explain your concerns. It is his office manager that frustrates me. It’s hard to understand her over the phone and I don’t think she understands you.
